I'm a DS3 user to but I dont get how you wheel users go so fast with all those shifting and pedals to worry about, everything I use have my fingers already on them.

I have my right foot on the throttle, left on the brake, hands on wheel, right thumb on upshift, left thumb on downshift. No clutch (DFGT)

Not that I'm fast, but all the controls are under my thumb (so to speak).
 
Just to confirm: There is no penalty for missing a race event?

A combination of work right now meaning I might not be free and then having that weekend be Petit Le Mans weekend could make my ability to participate tough.
 
Since Event two is a ONLINE time trial, 750pp at suzuka... And since we have 5 divisions, would it be nice to have different car classes for each division? So we can have all kinds of different car classes and more diverse then just one car.

??you change gears with your thumbs on the dfgt wheel??
why dont you use the paddle flippers on the back of the wheel?......

I find it easier to shift with L2/R2 rather than the paddles, especially when I have the wheel turned. L2/R2 are right under my thumbs but my fingers don't naturally fall on the paddles.

Edit: Just realising there was a specific thread for this in the Event section. Appeased to notice I'm not the only one struggling with the AI.

Looking through the registry thread there's a surprising number of people who don't seem to have submitted their replays to Sphinx yet. Either that, or he's still working his way through! Glad to see mine's been green-flagged though :D

I sent mine in the 20th & since I haven't been black or red flagged I'm just guessing he hasn't got around to checking mine yet.
 
I was at the nurburgring when I had the PM but sent the lap yesterday and assume he must have piles of them to work through.
 
There is a problem. I've tried to send friend invites to the people in my division and I'm getting messages back saying that the ID is NOT registered. I've checked spelling multiple times and the ID's are still not registered.

2 of the 3 people I've sent invites to have issues; GTP_NumerObis and GTP_derowo.

well, if they don't hurry up and register them, they will be removed from the registry and the divisions.

If anyone else has the same problem, then let me know by posting here. 👍
 
Honestly, I was thinking that PSN ID verification was an unwritten step in joining the registry. I was surprised I did not see you send me a friend request just to verify the account. Once verified, then delete the friend if you didn't want to load up your friend list.

I realized that would be a large undertaking on your part.

GTP_TuneMeister GTP_Geognasher have not registered either.

I have done the odd random check in the past but it really was time consuming and eating into my gaming time, so I stopped it. I guess I was being naive to actually trust some people.

Thanks again. I will start removing them later tonight.

Oddly, 2 people who I know have registered their PSNIDs show as unregistered if I try to add them as friends... One is a GTP_ PSNID...

Hi. Are the non-inclined parts of Daytona part of the track? I mean the parts that are asphalted, but are outside of the yellow line and are non-inclined?

Just read through the qualification thread and it mentioned a deadline of 14th Sept, is that intentional? I got the impression from this thread that it's still running.

Anyway, just wanted to mention that I've registered an ID (GTP_Ske, hope I'll be able to use it soon) and that I'm currently wrestling that F430 around Suzuka.


Edit: I need to re-learn to read, apparently :dunce:
