I'm no good with other cars on the track, only alone by myself, with no other cars to crash into. :lol: My race pace is very slow and I can't negotiate traffic well. I'm just a time trailer, not a racer. You would win every time as I am no competition at all. :indiff:

I appreciate your enthusiasm and all, but sadly I can only offer a good laugh or two and little competition. :nervous:

Most of us all started there.... but I figured already out it would be something like that,but I respect that, guess I will have to battle you in the TT's then (like we used to ;) )

Then again, me tryin from time to time, does not hurt anybody.....so expect me to do it again :)

Yea, I had a lot of fun battling with you in GT5. You're a great driver and I really enjoyed competing with you and look forward to the fun times ahead doing it again. Stay fast my friend. :cheers:

Hm, I think I've done my best in both events. Soon I'll submit.
By the way, this was my first WRS and I really enjoyed it. I think I'm going to do the next one, too.

You'll only get better if you practice racing against others more. When I first started on GT I wasn't the best racer, I had good speed in time trials after I got a wheel, but often in races I would crash out or cause incidents. And now thanks to the WRS I'm a much better driver for it. It also helps with consistency and raw pace 👍

Yea, I've been given that advice many times before. Thing is, I hate causing accidents and when I do, I feel guilty as hell. I just feel like a moving chicane and I hate being in the way. I would love to race with people, but my confidence level is zero. I am just better off doing what I do, that way I won't cause angst to others. Thanks for the advice though. :cheers:
 
Jump on when Frank or someone's doing some practice, and just relax and have a bit of fun there.
 
Submitted, but made a mistake with my PSN name, wich I immidiatly corrected in a second mail to Fetchy. I received a message that my entry was incorrect wich is normal, but did not get any answer on my second mail. If an admin would have the time, please check.

The only way you'll (or I will) get better at racing other drivers is racing other drivers.

I can see your PM in Fetchy's PM history but I think Fetchy is now angry at you as he didn't do anything with it.
I'd say try it one more time.
If it doens't work, this will be something for @JoostBaksteen.

Yea, I realize that but the last time I went online and tried that experiment, it didn't work out so well. I got hate mail for days afterwards. :lol: Just prefer to avoid that whole situation again.

Yeah, I joined a random online lobby yesterday, and I got punted off quite a few times even though it was a 'clean' room. I still won all the races I entered, but if I hadn't been so fast there would've been a lot more incidents.
You could always make a spare PSN account and use it to practice anonymously online? If people send you hate mail just ignore it, I sometimes get hate mail haha!

Or you could race in the WRS academy when they get that back up and running? I'm sure the admins would allow you to race in it even though you're a fairly high division placing 👍
 
Im sure I speak for lots if people here in saying that if you bumped me in an online race, allowed me to have the spot back and gave a simple apology post race then there would be no hard feelings. We would probably even share a laugh about it. At the end of the day, we are racing for fun here, not sheep stations.

Yeah, seems like I made a small :censored:up, I did some modifications to the board today to make it easier for the admins, and to allow DQ-ed replays/users to be submit again, but introduced a little bug.

I'll fix it tonight when I back at home. The registrations should come through again after the fix.

I entered my replays last week some time, got a reply "Currently the registry is closed to set everything up for GT6. Check back in a couple of days." is that normal?

Yes, you can submit now. It's open.
 
With the time i have and put in, i feel the best ive done (not could do) is D5 at most :(. And is it normal that both times are similar?? I found that weird given the polar opposites of track and car combos.

I wouldn't worry about the times being similar, not sure how much I'm allowed to say on this, but it's normal 👍

Ok. I will not stalk Fletchy again, but will wait untill you fixed the issue and then resubmit if needed. I will await youre instructions. In the meantime, tell Fletchy I did not do it on purpose. I don't want him to hate me, as I intend to send him a weekly mail in the future :)
 
Fetchy is completely broken now, accepting no submissions anymore.
JoostBaksteen will have to fix him first.
 
Well, just got my GTP account leveled up to the point where I can grind the NASCAR @ Motegi event for cash if I need to so yea, I'm already to go now to start the new season with this account. I got 15 mil in the bank now, so that should be enough to buy any cars which I may need for now. Ready to go. :gtpflag:

If you want to grind, an even better race to grind is one of the Red Bull events, you can do them over and over again, they're quick and pay a lot! 👍
