Can't simply change the ballast system at this point, it just involves too much.

I think the simplest solution would be to just check the Garaiyas like they already have the extra 5kg. So is they have 20kg of ballast we will have to check the weight at 1190 while the car should actually have 1195. Then, no matter what, the car can always have 5kg less then what the actual ballast weight should be.

Just saw it. That is much better.

We should go with the ballasts that were decided, no rule changes. Due to an oversight we can not always check the last 5 kg's. But that does NOT free the drivers from having them.

Homologation is not an exact science. Well into the pre-series races we rounded the BHP of several cars down to end in 5, without anyone raising a voice over that.
 
The ballast will remain unchanged. We are going to have to trust a few drivers to add the final 5kg as we can't check it. But the season has started, the ballast will be added as per the ballast rule.

Here is another idea:

Split the last kg's of ballast over two races, so the cars always end up with a verifiable weight (divisible by 10).

In Nepalii's case (40 kg), that would mean:

Race 2: 45 kg
Race 3: 35 kg (or whatever his nominal ballast is at that time, minus 5)

Thinking about it, I like this one better. No doubts possible. Every nitpicker satisfied.
 
is the test race for this new update that has happend. Would be cool if they have sorted the online out and you can race with 16 people

Understanding that I haven't been granted the right to switch to the Zed, can I perhaps test with it on Suzuka? (Please?)

So I get 45KG for Feature and 35 for Sprint for example? Hmm, that could sound good. Keep in mind the Garayia is the heaviest of the GT300's and that's why I am against adding 5kg to the car. The Garayia lacks top speed compared to the RX7 as it was shown in Fuji, so another 5kg could hurt top speed even more.
 
Nothing changes. We are going to have to trust the garaiya and mr-s drivers to install the correct ballast. For example in the next race, you have 40kg of ballast. We can only check that you have at least 35kg, we will have to trust you that you install the remaining 5kg.

Maybe we should run the second race with quality set to High. The update reads as though 16 will be fine without mic chat enabled.
