Copied from the op 👍

Sorry to say, but I am retiring from this series. I have already expressed this to the admins and to my teammate Tony.

I would like to thank all of the WSGTC staff for all of their hard work in this series.👍 It is not because of any of them that I am retiring. I have been very busy with many things, and I just don't seem to have the motivation to play GT5 lately. Add to that being wrecked on the first lap, twice by the same person, with absolutely no apology or any sign of sportsmanship:tdown:.. has just left me with a bit of a sour taste.

I am sure I will be back in time. I really did enjoy racing with all of you minus 1. I hope to get to race with you guys again in a future series. There are a lot of very fast and respectful drivers in this series. Once again I apologize to FAK for my error at Indy. Thank you again for your understanding and outstanding sportsmanship.👍

To Tony... What a great teammate.👍 I apologize for bailing out on you in the middle of the season. You provided me so much help in this series with setups, and just showing what is possible with the car. Really amazing speed you show week in and week out.

Like many of you know, things are changing for me in my personal life. Hopefully when I finish up the remodel on the house, and get some more free time, I will be re-joining many of you in a future series.

Rees

Sorry to see you go ree

Sorry admins I have no net and can't race tonight aswell as next week as its my birthday.

It's a shame, I really think I am fast enough to be in the next stage but things just have not gone my way with missing races/illness/wheel stand braking/real life crap

I might race on the last round but I might join another championship or something after this as Fridays a bit of a effort if you get me.

Been nice racing with you all,

Dino

Announcement

We have arrived at a decision for the location of round 10: Nurburgring 24h

We're keeping the initial race distance of 250km making the race 10 laps of the circuit.

We're going to use a full sun cycle starting mid-day and ending at the same "time", setting the time change to 16. Weather will be set to off.

All collected ballast is being applied in the last round as per usual.

The qualification session will take place like on any other track? ( 1 + 2 laps)
Will the time change be activated for the qualification session aswell ?

Qualifying will be done on the same track of course. But there's only 1 lap instead of 4 set.

Qualifying is set in round 10 over one lap. The first three sectors of the lap are your "warm up lap" like the traditional out lap of regular live qualifying. The rest of the "North Loop" section of track, all the way back to the start/finish in the GP track will be the qualifier.

In order to calculate the qualifying time we simply deduct the first four sectors from the total lap time.

We will qualify on the standard version of the track instead of the one with time change

About when will the next season start?
Thank you.

It's not decided yet.. But if there's a 4th season, it'll most likely start in the end of August, beginning of September as it looks for now.

There will be a new Super GT series starting a few weeks after WSGTC finishes. It'll be on the same two days we run on now but will only be two divisions, not four as there are now. But this series will be different. It's still in the early planning stages and being built up on PURE's workshop forum at the moment so there'll be an announcement soon after WSGTC's Playoff Tournament is finished.

I shall be back for next season. Had some rough times at home but everything is looking up just need to get easter out of the way hehe
