With these talks about post race HP checks to see if break in has occurred is making me really nervous. It would be nice to find out just how much a car is supposed to have HP so I can drive it to that point before the race so one trollface horsepower won't appear in the middle of the race and disqualify me.

First off there's no such thing in this scenario.
We give a "broken-in" spec, you break your car in, set it to the specs we give, and there is 0% chance you will get a DQ, period.

You drive 186miles, 300km's, your car is broken in, you match all your specs to what we list and there can be no error.
That much I can guarantee to everyone.

We post the mods, the power limiter percentage, etc. If your power limiter %, HP, and PP rating don't match up to listed specs 100%, that's your red flag you've done something wrong.
If you encounter this you immediately ask, most likely you haven't broken the car in fully or need an oil change.

-And about the tyres.. correct me if im wrong but i notice the tyre wear time of the soft is almost the same as the Hards, i feel someting's funny with the soft tyres modeling on GT5, when using soft tyres on PC sims ( rfactor in my case) they wear off quickly

I think the softs actually last longer than hards.

There's no difference in tire wear. The different levels of grip only adversely affect people based on driving style. If you're not used to hards then you will tend to be dancing on the throttle and wheel so you'll wear your tires down quicker. Some people over do it when in softs because of the confidence and tend to kill their tires quicker as well. If you're used to either one, know the limits, and keep smooth then they will both last just as long.

Welcome to WSGTC newbies! I'll keep this brief and in simple English. Race clean, disciplined, and respectful around your fellow competitors! Fast but incompetent drivers need not apply - rather have slow and clean! Read the Racing Code 685 times (Click Here!).

You must follow the Car Specs and Regulations pictured below (TBA)! Not following specs will result in an immediate Disqualification.

While inside the race lobby, do not use the 'CHAT' feature while Stewards are sending out instructions for pre-race checks. If you have questions, go ask them NOW! Otherwise, read the OP. We will be using a special pre-race qualifying that is listed below - Read it! Thank you for your patience!

Car Specs and Regulations (All cars at Max Downforce!)

Pre-Race Qualifying

• Since we're not doing the weekly qualifying, we'll do a pre-race one instead.
• After pre-race PP Checks are done, the track will be reset.
• The field will be given 15 minutes to do their Qualifying in Free-Run
• If you are satisfied with a lap, DRIVE back to the pits. DO NOT press PAUSE and then EXIT!
• Again, drive back to the pits! Do not press pause and exit!
• Stay in the Pits and wait for the start of the race.
• Once everyone has been confirmed to be inside the pits, the host will start the race.
• Once the countdown hits ZERO, DO NOT MOVE!
• The field will roll slowly and maintain 50mph/80kph
• Maintain your grid spots while holding a double-file grid (8 rows, 2 columns)
• Follow the Rolling Start Procedure Inside the OP!
• Goodluck and Have Fun!

Eligibility for Winning Reserved Spot in Championship:

• Win the race
• Finish 2nd if a Veteran (or previous round 1 winners) Wins
• Finish 3rd if Veterans (or previous round 1 winners) finish 1-2

I've heard a few people moan about the noise of it and wouldn't be able to stand it for an hour race Lol

When I said that agessss back I said my speakers don't like it, and they sometimes make a high squeeking noise at a certain rpm. The actual sound of the car isn't too bad and is actually one of PD's more adventurous noises for a car.
