Hey masi i participated in your very first preseason at fuji i believe. And you see my brother lost gt5 . and im getting gt5 again for christmas , so i wont be able to qualify until christmas day. can you hold a spot for me? plz?

OK8
I think the softs actually last longer than hards.

In my experience they have exactly the same wear rate, but in practice the softs last longer because they are still driveable when worn down, while the hards just become wet soap.

I guess since everyones avoided the MR-S like the plague (I wonder why :sly:) ill use it again but not expecting much at one of the MR-Ses worse tracks..

I noticed that too :)

Regarding your earlier remarks about the Cusco '08 being too fast I took the Apex and the Cusco for a couple laps at Laguna, and was at least one second faster in the Cusco.

It is not so much because of power, much more to do with handling, Apex being a tail snappy MR while the Cusco can be thrown around mercilessly and will always forgive you anyway.

But then, it might play out differently on other tracks, so I am not voting for a slower Cusco yet (at least not until saturday since I got it for friday's race :D).

👍 The Subaru 08 was allways the best car last season and I thought it would still be on these new specs, on the MR-S I know all to well its tail happy snappyness (Low traction) having driven it all (joined 3 races in) season 2.

Its worse to me as I can beat my MR-S laps, after working long and hard last season to get a good stable tune (Which got me some good results at the end of the season :D it also helped that the aliens had 150kgs+ ballast ) with a car I just bought and ran in with a base tune :(.

So I fully expect to be running round near the back but oh well..

I might open a room for practice race tomorrow. Just depends on the maintenance? Does anyone know what times (GMT) gt5 will be down?

Also if only to try help fill GT300 in NSTC I may sign up there if its ok :). (I seem to stay up past 4am on weekends so shouldnt be to hard to stay up  :sly:)

I ran a PB of 1:25.9 in the stock Toyota Apex MR-S at 315HP a few weeks ago.
I guess if I really tried I could get at least a 25.5 or so.

1:22.3 is my current best in the Takata at test specs.

Hmm, the Celica specs on the current sheet at 314hp, 1050kg which is supposedly Stock (it's not), running at 531PP.

It's got 322hp, 1050kg at Stock, 541PP.

If the car is reduced to 314hp, it only drops to 539PP.

So what spec is right?

Broken in cars? <:D

If you have a stock one at 322HP, 541PP, you tell me. ;)

We need some NTSC guys to start qualifying.:)
I'd like to get to know my competition a little before the season.

It's a used car, so they get bought run in - mine's done 2.2k miles for what it's worth.

It's running at 322BHP, 541PP, 1050kg - No additions, all completely stock, just the oil change done. So yes, something is wrong.

But I can't test properly if I don't know what spec I'm meant to be running..

Just spoken to Adam, the Celica is meant to be:

314bhp
1050kg
538PP
97.6% PL

All adds up now 👍

Still hate laguna :yuck:.... but the MR-S isnt as bad as it was round here still twitchy but no where near as much.... A track I really like is Istanbul (On good ol Grid and F1) but theres more chance of me winning than that getting into GT5...

Hey guys, my semester is finally over

@ NTSC Drivers - how would everyone feel about moving the race earlier? ..say 2 hours? I'm thinking this would attract more drivers (concerning GT300).

Nooo. Its still 07.30 A.M in my country. I'm afraid I am not wake up yet (sorry bad grammar). Hehehe

Make that one more. :)

PSN ID: GTP_CAMikaze
Conference: NTSC
Class: GT300
Car: ARTA Garaiya '08

And if a earlier start time is needed, 9 pm sounds doable here. :)
