While inside the race lobby, do not use the 'CHAT' feature while Stewards are sending out instructions for pre-race checks. If you have questions, go ask them NOW! Otherwise, read the OP. We will be using a special pre-race qualifying that is listed below - Read it! Thank you for your patience!

Car Specs and Regulations (All cars at Max Downforce!)

Pre-Race Qualifying

• Since we're not doing the weekly qualifying, we'll do a pre-race one instead.
• After pre-race PP Checks are done, the track will be reset.
• The field will be given 15 minutes to do their Qualifying in Free-Run
• If you are satisfied with a lap, DRIVE back to the pits. DO NOT press PAUSE and then EXIT!
• Again, drive back to the pits! Do not press pause and exit!
• Stay in the Pits and wait for the start of the race.
• Once everyone has been confirmed to be inside the pits, the host will start the race.
• Once the countdown hits ZERO, DO NOT MOVE!
• The field will roll slowly and maintain 50mph/80kph
• Maintain your grid spots while holding a double-file grid (8 rows, 2 columns)
• Follow the Rolling Start Procedure Inside the OP!
• Goodluck and Have Fun!

Anyone can open a room for practice. You could open a room and post the room number here for people to join. It's only official qualifying and race rooms that have to be hosted by a steward or capable host.

One question, its unrelated to the rooms: I have installed Chassis reinforcement on my Petronas, so the car is now stiffer/harder. I was expecting that, no worries there. I am slower at Laguna now, and I expected that as well as the car isnt as loose. Now, will the car become looser as I run with it? It should, unless this is another GT5 dirty little secret. If not, might as well buy a new one and forget Chassis Reinforcement.

Chassis reinforcement never wears off.
In my opinion, chassis rigidity doesn't wear off for 3K miles, or 5K kilometers, so I recommend you buy a new one. I've been told it wears off every race, so I guess that's up to you. TBH this car could use both no reinforcement, and a worn out chassis to help rotation though.
No chassis rigidity on any of my SuperGT cars, except a few NSX's to see how it helps.

I have also found this but sometimes I can go 0.5 secs quicker after I install it, I just don't understand some bits that's gt5 has got lol

I think it completely depends if your car is tight or loose, adding it to a tight car will make it even tighter, and slow your laps, adding it to a loose car will tighten it up the way you desire and improve stability.
Very dependent on the track and car/tune.

I was being an idiot aswell and decided to install chassis rigidity on a good setup. Doesn't feel quite as good now.

I have a YMS GTR both with and without chassis, on loose tracks like Laguna I can make them equal, on tight tracks like Suzuka, the one without chassis is always easier and quicker.
On a stiff car like an SC430 it's even worse. Just slower everywhere.
