How I USED to make 5,000,000 credits/hour through Custom Races... using a Fiat. But not anymore.

Well thats a joke. Here is the AHK script i developed based off the old one by Septomor:

  1. gt7, ps5 required
  2. download chiaki v2.2, install
  3. double click your ps5 in chiaki
  4. use this to get your psn id in base64, enter in chiaki -> https://psn.flipscreen.games/
  5. go to ps5 settings, remote play, link device, itll show the pin, enter pin in chiaki
  6. download autohotkey v1.1 deprecated version
  7. download my script from pastebin. Save it into a .ahk file.
  8. map nos to L1, accel R2, steering Left stick. Set units to metric kph.
  9. get in tomahawk car, tune to setup screenshot, make sure ballast 200kg -50 position, 70 power output
  10. setup custom race at daytona tri oval, 20cars, start pos 20, 26 laps, Start Type - Rolling Start, Boost off, weak sliptstream, max out the rolling start interval, Nitrous Usage Time Multiplier: 10x, custom opponents from garage (it should fill up with tomahawks), Rival Difficulty - Professional Level -> save this as a race setup for later use. it should state 1.031M cr for winning.
  11. get in your abarth 595, K20 eng swap, fully tune it except bumpers/spoilers. tune it as per screenshots.
  12. go setup the custom race at daytona tri oval again, load the race setup saved from step 9
  13. start the race, pause the race, hover over retry
  14. open the script file, set to pixel option
  15. hit start
  16. you should get 1.5M with clean race bonus every time, about 4.5M/hour. laptimes should be ~48s
  17. Set tc1View attachment 1302227View attachment 1302229View attachment 1302226View attachment 1302228

Can confirm what the other poster said, this setup does not work. After the race it goes on a play replay loop. The Abarth tune is also wrong, it maxes at less than 300kph and is running 53 second laps. I had to change the top speed to 250kph and now it is running 48 second laps but it still goes on a replay loop after.

My controller is on a Spidermand 2 and Mario Wonder cover , so 2 CD covers is more than enough.
TCS2, all assist on.
Make sure that off track cars gets automatically moved to the track, that is a race setting.
Nerf the Tomahawks to the lowest speed possible, with gearing, you have to adjust each gear several time.
Get them some Heavy Wets for those corners so they are slow.
In my experience keeping the hawks slow is key. I get clean most of the time in 30 lap races.
For more speedy grind you can map the nitro button to L1 and use a rubber band, but that is only useful with short races and requires more attention.

I did try with upping the speed on the hawks to avoid to many overtakes, but i saw them racing more than before.. so.. nerf´d
Don't expect any patch before the usual patch time, that is, this weekend should be free to grind..
Thanks,
My controller was only on my (opened) Macbook Air, so much lower than the 2 CD cover but still too much steering.
Very odd.

I'll try making the hawks slower and see what that does and just try to find the sweet spot for the controller.

Is the gearing in the first setup on the first page still the best for wall riding? Or is there better gearing for wall riding. Previously I was getting 55-58 sec laps on its own. Now they’re in the 1:04+ range. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
I use short gears for gears 1 to 4 to force auto into 5th. I have my 5th set to around 380kph max, I think, to make the fuel consumption last for a 35 lap race at 1x. My lap times are mostly 49.xxx with nitrous at 10x/10%. I have CH front tyres, RS rear, no aero front or rear (remove it in GT Auto if you've added it, don't just set them to min value), and wide tyres but not wide body. If you still can't get anywhere near sub 50 per lap, let me know and I'll take photos of the full details.

Yet when we glitch for credits in Forza Motorsport, people are calling for those players to be banned, called cheaters, and scare-mongered into thinking that your XB account will get terminated.

Here, we get 17 pages of hints and tips, helping each other out.

@Watzlaw ? Opinions ? 😄

The difference is the user isn't doing anything to expose this bug, it's just how the game works, even if it's unintentional. There's no way to create a custom race and NOT have it work like it does. Until they added it to the known issues list there wasn't any way to even know that it was unintentional behaviour. GTS had the ability to earn decent credits AFK throughout its entire life, so if that was unintentional, they never changed it. The FM glitches have required the user to do very specific actions that serve no other purpose than to make the glitch happen.

I got fed up messing about with a rubber band to hold my R1 down for nitrous, so I've added another bit of wood to my jig to hold that button down:

Same as everywhere and in any game, cheaters and glitch users should get banned.

I dont see any problem pd fixing this at all, i dont see any fun wallriding the same car at daytona even if its the best money method,
At least now we can drive around a wide selection of Tracks in custom races and not be forced with the same grinding races, if you drive at lemans with 500 pp car 5 laps witch will take 30 min a most, will pay as much as the lemans grind but you can do this for every track so it dosen’t become boring, even after they patch the glitch, it nog going to effect my fun i have in custom races, they pay pretty good anyway in general

Imagine how much goodwill Polyphony would create by leaving this in…..
Against the announcement of "creating a situation where a player must mechanically keep replaying certain events", it wouldnt be much goodwill to leave this in but have a look at the availability of credits in general throughout all events.

I personally do like the 1h missions and dont care driving them for more than just once, but they dont pay a single credit once beaten, and this is my grieve here ;)

As long as the only possible thing that is damaged or harmed is a clean players pride of accomplishment, I dont mind other players gaining pretty much useless ingame currency (at some point) for free or seeing similar situations arise. There is no real competitve advantage related to it, then there is no actual loss for any clean player.

My max payout is only 571k? What could be wrong? I read somewhere you need to to the circuit experience before, does that make such a difference? I usually hate cheaters, but getting 2-3 legendary cars seems ok for me, since by normal driving I would never make it

The fun is that when you have enough money to do what you want in the game, you can do races other than the big money earners, e.g. you can repeat the Maggiore 1 hour mission race with every Gr.3 car and not be bothered by the fact it's not paying out any credits.

Yes. Being Collector Level 50 and having at least bronze in Circuit Experience at the relevant track gives you the maximum payout possible.

Kinda sad not gonna lie

Nvm, I reloaded the game and it’s fine

Oh no...
Sad I'm one day too late.
100k for how many laps? Because the Sunday Cup at Monza, 2 laps for 30k, you can do it in Ferrari VGT, in 2min
I literally just completed a 26 lap race with rubber band on ps5 controller and a bluetack ball against the steering stick! B spec bobo jut collected another 1.5mill for me in 21 minutes - just clicked over 70 mill, everything is still ticking like clockwork!

Those screenshots show the prize value before you set up cars on the grid and - inexplicably - a TEN LAP RACE. It's got nothing to do with reloading the game... they're just not set up right yet.

You make it to a grind and thats not enjoyable or fun in my opinion, you can still make as much as the grinding races with normal car if you race against the redbulls or tomahawks, the money earning for grinding races was never a problem we just didin’t have enough tracks to grind on, now we can do that on every track in custom races, even witch glitch being patched there will be plenty of decent way of making good money in custom races, and not by driving the same track over and over,

Blu Tack.Thats what i use too,so many uses for the sticky blu stuff.

No one grinds for fun. No one even states that this grind is fun.

Its fun to have millions of credits so we can do whatever we want and not having to race for money at all. I dont want to do Sardegna anymore. I dont want to race Tomahawks on other circuits. That just as much a grind to me then this. No correction, that's even more of a grind because this can be done afk.

my opinion
Thats the whole point.
I really loved racing Tokyo 600 and fortunatly it was one of the high payed events.
I couldnt bother touching other tracks (for example Le Man, to me the track is boring) no matter how much money they would provide.

I just tried creating a custom race the same as the Tokyo 600 race, and the payout was less than a third of that race, so they still don't pay out anywhere near as much as the big money earning races.

Custom races also have little community relevance unless you can get lots of people to do the exact same race as you, and I'm not sure if there's any easy way to share custom races in-game. The appeal of repeating e.g. the mission races is that lots of people are doing the exact same race, so times can be compared, and there are people interested in knowing how the different cars perform for them.

I wil test with the g920 maybe it can be easier, and less damaging for the controller
I'm not aware it causes any problems to hold a stick in a position where it's moved a bit to the side. I used a controller like that in GTS for a lot of hours with no noticeable problems. If a potentiometer could experience wear by being held in a fixed position it would be a problem for lots of other things, e.g. dials on audio interfaces etc. Using it for actual driving, with movement, will gradually wear it out, though.

Thanks Breeminator, I’ll try when I get home from work this evening.

Proably becouse you didin’t pick you car against tomahawks or red bulls. using a 500 pp car against red bulls and tomahawks will get you the same money as grinding races for the same amount of time, and you can do this for every track. But you need to make sure you are collector level 50 and have 400% bonus on each track, i cant see the fun wallriding Daytona with abarth over and over again, custom races is massivly better than it was before its just a simply fact, and we can have fun with decent payouts on each track now, you cant really blame pd for fixing a bug with engine swapped cars,

and you can do this for every track.
But where is the fun in driving something that you are guaranteed to win, when your reason for the choice of cars is not driving but the rewards? I dont see why you desperatly want to do it on every track and need to convince others this would be better than earning money the easy way.
