Love the track. The car....not so much. When are we going to get some seasonal TT's in race cars? This track is brilliant fun in something like a GT300.

Threw a tune together and put down low 1:12 last night. Was able to keep relative pace to @doodlemonoply for the first half of the track. Loses me in the back half.

Am I still in the lead or something? I didn't realize my lap was that good.

Ridiculous bug found. I beat the gold time, nice and clean lap, once I'd crossed the line I looked at my time, wondered where I'd found .250, the car hits a barrier at the start of the NEW lap because I'm not concentrating and my gold time gets redded!:banghead:

Luckily, my next run was even faster! Soft racing suspension and stage 1 weight reduction.

MUAHAHA.

Very very first lap 1'15.865, with a basic tune with a few tries just to tune the LSD.

Without SRF :) :) :)

Okay, that's my tuning test track. Let's put SRF for the fun.

^^ and I was happy doing a 1:14.135 (DS3) - I have no idea how on earth I could lose the best part of another 6 seconds! Maybe another 2 if I persevere with my G27 - I'm usually quicker with it eventually but because I only set it up and use it occassionally it takes me awhile to adjust and get my lap times down.

- edit - i uploaded an hd version of the clip, instead of the lowfi one, that was pretty crappy.

these are my settings. earned a 1:11:734 1.10.952 ... still lots to improve though

Standard setup got me gold on my second lap. I woulda got it on my first attempt, but I scratched the paintwork on the wall coming off the last turn :P

Pretty easy event if you'd asked me!

must say i got 1.13.8XX that was an easy gold, with just weight reduction and everything else as stock, after some tryout, i managed to do a fast tune as the above post...gaining 2 secs. going to work a bit more on it on the week end. :D

Did a 1.8.832 last night using DS3.. put the full amount of ballast weight at the rear and stiffened and lowered the suspension at the rear a little for a touch more oversteer.I'll give HTRs setup a go later on tonight to see if it's any better, though i'm happy with 9th place at the moment :)
