I'm a total newbie from Europe... using km (not miles). Switched my settings to miles though, to set up doodles tune, followed the instructions, but I can't get the gear ratios. (Can't go that low...)?! I'm doing something wrong...
I got gold here already. Try the ones with pics shown.

I did... must be something to do with localisation... Golded though...
Or the mileage comversion. Miles is the smaller number while Kilometer is the bigger number. It's also in the Options menu you can set the conversion type.

Do the power changes first, then final gear to max, then top speed to what Doodle said, then set gears, then set final gear
Is that an "always do first" thing because I run into this problem all the time?

Damn, I hate the last corner before the straight... Losing so much there.
Can drive consistent laps of 1.08.0 but not lower lol.. .

Guess I need to practice more :)

Edit: using doodlemonoply tune 👍
Edit 2: 1.07.772...we're getting there
Edit 3: 1.07.4xx....

Thats because its in the High End Performance dealership.

Found it. Thanks mate.

12:739 with doodle's set-up, DS3 stick. Tried Bb's at first, and it was good. But then when compared with doodles', it felt heavy. And also, like Gregi, my 1st (2.720), 2nd (1.973), 3rd (1.511) and 4th (1.126) gear ratios are different from doodles' set-up, in that this is the lowest they'll go,

I used BettyBlue's setup for this and got a 1.07.196 (DS3, SRF ON, ABS 1) with a bad last sector., so it should be good enough for a 1.06-time. And yes; it is heavy, it has 200kg's in the trunk. But the feeling of having that heavy tail Working for you in that corner, Outake mentioned is just great! Thank you BettyBlue!

Before this one ends, i will also try Doodle's setup. Curious to see how a lighter car, relying more on downforce, handles those tight bends -compared to the one i used

Spent more than an hour just to get used to the track and to be able to drive without driving line:odd: And also started to learn to drive without ABS few days ago, I decided to do this TT without one. See how it goes.

1:07.606 with tune similar to doodles, I used most of his suspension setting and it helped relief some of that chronic understeer. As always, thank you!

As I expected, ABS-0 helps turn the car on corner entry so pros and cons are balancing out for me at moment.

After more than 30 laps there are black huge skidding marks everywhere on the track.lol

Gold it with @doodlemonoply tune! Thank you very much. I watch your replay as well to see your braking spots and that help at lot I must say, man I'm surprised you didn't get a red lap you knock a cone over went off road and all but it was still a clean lap after all.

I did modified my front toe instead of negative and went positive and added .05 of camber in the front as well no rear, could it be that since I'm a DS3 user I was able to control the oversteer better, I need to get me a wheel.

Ds3 will be harder, a wheel you need indeed

The last time I raced Streets of Willow Springs, I did the Racing Kart 125 Shifter race to where I was so far off course and so behind in the standings that I eventually quit the race. Returning to this track, I took on this Super Lap challenge. I didn't do too well, but I made subtle improvements. Still not enough to get even Silver. Familiarity with tracks is often a key factor in how well you do. I could only do so much in my runs around this track.

Would rather a TT at Willow with a less stiff car....Andretti then this...G37. Anyway 1:07.956 DS3 my tune.

About the cones as mentioned above, you can knock the ones at start over.

Lost my motivation and don't feel like driving for this event for awhile so here is my current setup if anyone interested, specially for those who opt for ABS-0. Best lap 1:07.606 after 500km of never ending front tyre lock ups.lol

3/5
5/3
3/6
0.0/0.0
-0.30/-0.30

Gear ratio
Set FG to highest, max speed to lowest then apply the below:
1st 2.487 / 2nd 1.804 / 3rd 1.511 / 4th 1.253 / 5th 1.063 / 6th 0.897 / FG 4.800

LSD
5/35/5

Power
PL at 90.1% or similar depends if you had changed oil or not.

Decided to give this one a try since I was not having any luck bettering my time in the "Rocket" TT. After my day long stint yesterday, this is the tune I came up with. Currently my time is 1'07.485 in 112th atm. Again, I just want to stress that I am not trying to win any tuning awards here, this is just a tune that feels right for me and perhaps other people may find it useful. Good luck everyone. Peace, and as always, stay fast my friends.

Credit goes to @Johnnypenso for the tune sheet layout. He made the fantastic layout for me so that I could display my tunes. Thanks Johnny, really appreciate your time and effort. You're a great friend.

Thank you for posting your tune for this Seasonal. This is the smoothest tune I've found for this track and using a DS3. I have tried any tune that has been posted and found yours the most comfortable. For me I think it was the gearing and suspension. I was able to finally hit a 1:10.074 from a 1:12 my run with it. This was Great for me. This will make me want to try break 1:09.
Thank You
