I agree, or at least add newer onesIf he really is that eager to bring Porsche to Gran Turismo, a good start would be to make all of the RUF's Premium.
Except RUFs ARE Porsches.
Can anyone explain why, if there this EA contract that locks out Porsches from GT, Forza games have this make in its dealership? Is Turn10 under EA by any chance?
Ahh, that clears that up for me.
I think I'm right in saying that Kaz has his own GT3 as part of his collection. Could explain partly how it managed to sneak into some versions of the game! Some Porsches would really add some variety to the car selection - many direct rivals for different car classes could be put in.
Bought the Porsche DLC for Forza4, $30 usd...best $30 on DLC i ever spent. And...probably would do the same for gt6.
it also depends if they have access to the cars.....It's hard to find such cars in JapanReally think that the use of RUF in GT 6 is a missed opportunity seeing PD has a license. I´ll take in to account that the license agreement with RUF could be an old agreement stating use of the specific cars in the game, but if not and with Kaz`s desire to include Porsche, PD should have made all the models premiuim and added the RGT 8, CTR 3, & RT 12 for some extra spice. Great cars in their own right and the closest thing you´ll get to the Porsche experience.
They travel all over the world to photograph and measure cars and tracks, I imagine Germany would be one place they frequent often, I can't imagine that would be a factor.it also depends if they have access to the cars.....It's hard to find such cars in Japan
Japan is one of the biggest overseas markets for RUF and they have a dealership in Kyoto, I know for a fact that there atleast 2 of the 29 produced Yellowbirds in Japan right now, and as Punknoodle pointed out PD travel all over the world to collect data, so it´s not a factorit also depends if they have access to the cars.....It's hard to find such cars in Japan

true that :|Japan is one of the biggest overseas markets for RUF and they have a dealership in Kyoto, I know for a fact that there atleast 2 of the 29 produced Yellowbirds in Japan right now, and as Punknoodle pointed out PD travel all over the world to collect data, so it´s not a factor
But t10 integrated it nicely into the game. I have huge doubts PD would be able to do the same.
Prolong career and add a few one make porsche races. Incorporate them into seasonals and somehow into online.Well, I figure it this way...Turn10 added those nice special events to the game that incorporated the car well. PD perhaps can learn from that and the weekly event styled stuff too. If a community can establish leagues, clubs, and what not...the people can provide their own content too. (Set the room as: 911, no assists, damage, tire wear, fuel consumption...it wont be a popular room, but its the content i want.)
My doubts about them being able to do it right, are along the lines of giving us a certain number of quality cars that is gonna make everyone happy. Everyone has their favorite Porsches that no matter what they do, they will not make everyone happy. Most can find one they like out of a pack of 10 cars.
What do you think PD could do to make it right? (Sorry if i asked a question you might have already posted something about)
