LCC Rocket Super Lap

Good setup cargo.
I just wait top 3 setups to make comparation or they don't have balls to do that.
I just drive for one year And I learn só mutch with you guys.
I just want that you have the real drive like I have in real tracks like Estoril or Portimão in Portugal with my Aprilia (stuning).
For most of you This is may be just the bigining like Miguel Faísca .
Stay calm And enjoy the game because on the track is other business.

Best regards for everyone.

This tune may not be for everyone, but it works really good for me and how I like my cars to handle. It took me longer than usual to work out the tune for this car, but once I got this cars handling figured out, it became a blast to drive. Good luck everyone. Peace, and as always, stay fast my friends.

I finally had a go at a TT with SRF and I have one thing to say - I hate SRF!

About the tune, I actually tightened it up a bit to start to get a feel for it, lowering the rear toe and upping the Decel LSD, but after a couple of failed tries I put everything back pretty much the way you wrote it and put in a few laps. I don't remember my time, 2:01 something I think but I hated every second of it!!! One time I got my right rear into the grass heading into the hairpin and said to myself, "I'm going to spin" Nope, SRF and some countersteer saved me and I came out ahead of my ghost:lol:

The tune is great, very fast, used lots of throttle to control the rear end but I just can't take the Need for Speed physics with SRF on. So well done on the tune 👍👍, doubt I could best your 2:00.xxx time but there was lots more out there for me so the tune has great potential for a top finish. But I'm going back to not using SRF in future TT's:cool:

I edited. I realized that pic settings reflect a 130kg ballast, not 175...
Yeah i written a little note above the post lol though i've even gone that bit more with the ballast at 180kg now and shaven even more time off my previous best. I think the big boys at the top maybe on 190kg or even 200kg but i can't handle the car at that weight with the DS3.

I've been using 200kg. I was faster than Samurai on the straights. :D

@CRANK_U1 I ran into a similar problem when I went to 200kg with my tune, I moved the ballast forward to keep my weight distro the same and upped the breaking sensitivity on my lsd to 40 and that settled the car enough for me to keep it from dancing out on turns.

I managed to scrape Gold by a small margin, weren't particularly that good a lap but was fun just hoping it will be enough to get Gold as I needed to make up time in last sector as I dropped quite a lot in first few sectors. Time was a 2:12.943.

I tried putting the ballast sort of near the middle but as it's already a mid engine car i was just snaking constantly as soon as i hit the gas so that was out of the question lol. I've been putting the intial torque up on the lsd because it sort of acts like traction control but i think it needs that vital oversteer to attack the corners better.

Hi im new here on the forums. Been playing GT6 since the day it came out. I was in the top 200 for this time trial with a 2:02:9xx on the ds3 controller. Its tough but I want to be faster. so thanks for all your hard work yall have put in. Also has anyone noticed that SAMURAI is using active steering on strong how much does this have to do with his blistering fast lap time.

mdieselcat

peace

@rank_u1 dial up your breaking sensitivity, I imagine your snaking is happening under coast and breaking. If you want to get the time you need the power that you gain from the last 30kg. might try my lsd settings 5/7/40, great turn in, great stability under coast/breaking, mild out side wheel spin. (I lose it with to much outside spin), also with the ballast, do you have it placed as far forward or as far back as it will go for your weight distro? Just match the distro and position in the distro with the new weight, you may need to add a few tenths of spring in the rear to comp for the added weight.

@mdieselcat it's probably on mild strong over corrects.

Your tune is awesome mate. I was 2.08.970 and after using your tune I am at 2.04.733 and ranked 445. My best ever ranking in any seasonal. Great tune.

Thanks Johnny for the review of the tune. Its great to get feedback from a top driver like yourself and the other top drivers that have tried my tune. Its an honor and privilege to have you guys use my tune. I also agree with you about the SRF, but I have just learned to live with it for now. Hopefully PD will eventually just disable it in future TT's. That's all I'll say about it as I really don't feel like getting into a debate right now on the subject. :) Thanks again Johnny, and great lap time also without much effort. 👍

@Mr P You're welcome and thank you as well. As you being another driver I look up to and continually chase around in the WRS events, it really makes me feel good that you liked and found the tune useful. Great to have a positive review from you as well. 👍

I have to say thanks to everyone here once again for all the positive things you have had to say about my tune. Like I said before, I worked pretty hard on this tune to get it to how I like it, and it really pleases me that so many of you have found it useful. All I wanted to do was get a decent handling car and maybe help out a few people, never expected it to help out so many but am very glad it did. Just the fact that I have helped so many of you really makes this whole event quite enjoyable, equally as enjoyable as the event itself. So again, thanks everyone, you guys/girls really made this fun for me.

On another note, since I seem to be doing well in this event, I have decided to skip this weeks WRS event and just go for broke on this one and see where I end up. My best ever TT finish is 27th back in GT5 so that's my first goal, with my main goal being to get the best finish I can. So now, its become a flat out, stop at nothing, take no prisoners event for me. Going to put everything I have, plus more, to see just where I end up. With that being said, I start the quest now. Good luck to everyone still chasing down time. Remember, just when you think you have done the best you can do, keep reaching, you can do better. 👍 Thanks guys. Peace, and as always, stay fast my friends.

Disregard - double post.

@Otaliema. I have the weight at 50% on mine, that feels best for me really and i'll definitely try your settings tomorrow and see how it goes. And i've just noticed there's 3 Mancunians in the top 10 :D

@CRANK_U1 with the ballast, after you put the last bit in you will change the balance, move it forward till it just clicks back to the same distro you're at now. There should be one to three position clicks per distro at 200kg so if your at 40.60 you will have range of 20-22 to use for that distribution, you also get 1pp in each range most of the time, so if you want an extra pp for some more power move it forward a click or two you keep the distro but gain the pp, it does affect the handling not nothing that a mild change in the suspension won't fix.

Thank you and you're welcome as well. Congrats on the improvement, great lap time. 👍

@doodlemonoply: Thanks Andrew, going to do the best I can, we'll see what happens. :)

@CRANK_U1 no worries, just hope it's that last bit to get the missing time, I never would have thought about 200kg ballast till @GTP_CargoRatt said something in one of his posts. Speaking of cargo, go get em man, here's to you beating your best finish and maybe even making the top ten.

Can i just say that all these people moaning about SRF, that for me personally it has been a godsend for me as i would never be anywhere near the position that i'm in now because of it. I think PD have spared a thought for DS3 users on this game as there is like 80% pad users to 20% wheel users and plus they're outrageously expensive to buy. I think SRF should be called Marmite... You rather love it or hate it :)

Yes. Yes, you can. And can I say I agree wholeheartedly? Love it here

Why would you want to call it a large cooking pot... oh right you mean that food stuff that is a by product of making beer...yuck

i agree its something you love or hate, hate to love or love to hate.

i would suggest that pd make srf useable only to controller users but @CRANK_U1 is proof that some users would rock the board.

I assume you're talking about my earlier comments. I said very little about it, aside from my brief opinion, as not to spark a debate which we don't need here. I was not in any way moaning. Sorry if you don't like my opinion, but it is what it is, like it or not.

Was right by your ghost, doodle, but apparently, PD didn't like my exit of Spoon :(. I think I would of got top ten because I was consistently quicker than you ghost through 130R and the last chicain:(

Yeah the chicane is giving me a hard time too. :ouch:

Never thought about it in that way. I'm using the same setup/tune as a wheel user and it does seem he can carry a ton more speed in the faster corners and brake later, was thinking it was more down to his superior skill but happier now I know he has an advantage thanks to his hardware

cheers, crank. you've made my morning :gtpflag:

edit : this is not the place for srf wars so ignore my previous :)
