... but still debatable though seemingly only 4 people cared about it.

The other cars (now three) are borderline unacceptable especially to anyone that purchased the game since August, September, and January.

Will have to say, ...
Haven't followed the whole debate so ... which ( now 3 ) cars are you referring to ?

Anyone else a little concerned that this is the third day in a row where not a single car has gone to "Limited Stock"? Could all cars not currently available now be held in the hostage pool of cars?

so we’re now complaining when the cars are actually available for a longer period ?!

Guess you missed the part a few posts ago where we identified that this is a natural part of the cycle?

I did miss that. Still seems like an extremely long time for no changes in the dealership but guess that's just how the rotation works at this particular time.

To think, we almost went a day without someone complaining.

I really wasn't complaining. I just thought it was an interesting observation having been keeping a fairly close eye on this for a year.

I have all the Legendary cars anyway apart from the 20 million credit ones which I'm in no rush for. I'll get them as and when I can afford them.

Nope, not concerned at all. It happens sometimes because not all cars spend the same number of days available. You won’t see any changes the rest of this week, but in about 4-5 days you’ll see a lot of activity in LCD. Grind now.

I'll put it two different ways. The longest, up until now, Hagerty's has gone between sell-outs is 5 days. At a minimum, it will be 7 days between the time the Maserati A6GCSS/53 Spyder and Jaguar XJ13 sold out on 3/11 and the next sell-out on, potentially, 3/18.

On the other hand, if the Shelby G.T.350, which has been in Hagerty's the longest of the currently-available cars, sells out on 3/18, it will have been there "only" 11 days, which matches the length of time it was available last time around. The Porsche 356 A/1500 GS Carrera would also match the length of its previous appearance of 10 days if it sold out on 3/18, while the other 8 cars will have been there for less time than their previous appearances if they sell out on 3/18.

Edit (7:20 pm CDT 3/15/2023) - the Shelby and older Porsche will sell out on 3/18.

The F50 is more useful in my opinion, the 911 GT1 is a cool car to have but it's not really all that special when to comes to performance.

Both are pretty good performancewise tbh, but they've pumped up the price big time on the 911 GT1. It used to be around 4 million, happy I bought it back then. But if you think cost/performance combined, I guess buying the F50 is better right now.

The 911 GT1 is a special performer. What makes you say otherwise?
The handling when on the stock tires leaves alot to be desired, the car performs really well on Sports Softs and especially Racing Hards but otherwise it's just okay in my opinion.

I admit that I am not the best driver but I just tested the F50, Enzo and GT1 and the F50 was about .200 milliseconds faster than the GT1 with the Enzo being 2+ seconds faster, all on stock setups with Sports Hard tires.

If running it with Racing Hards and upgraded brakes then the GT1 performs pretty good but for a Homologation GT1 car I expected it to perform atleast slightly better than it currently does. I mentioned the F50 being more useful as it can be ran on both the Tokyo 600 and the Le Mans 700 with nothing changed but the tires.

It's one of the best sounding cars in the game so it atleast has that going for it as a plus but for the price it's more of a novelty piece though still a must-have for me as it comes from my favorite class/era of racing.

Ok, but the downforce of the 911 GT1 makes it excellent by road legal standards. The others you mention handle more like super cars, as they are.

I’ve been grinding for the old Alfa and the 917K. I feel like by the time the two appear, I’ll have enough credit to waste it on both. Not really sure what to do after in the game as these are the last two legendary cars I haven’t bought. VGTs are not for me…

Not to be pedantic but 0.2 milliseconds isn’t a long time at all. In fact it’s about 0.0002 seconds! I assume you mean 0.2 seconds?

The post explaining this isn't even off of the last page. Lazy much, newbie?
Maybe you could have taken a read of this in your 20 years here

It has long been popular on Internet discussion boards to ridicule or embarrass users who may ask questions that could have easily been answered by searching the web or the forums. Indeed, many questions can be answered this way, and indeed, many users could make better use of the tools available to them. However, that is no reason to treat them with disrespect, as there is a wide and legitimate range of experience among users on the Internet. If you see someone on GTPlanet asking what you believe to be a trivial question, suggest keywords or links or simply ignore their questions altogether. Do not harass them.

There are way too many people on here who think they're @Famine

This whole discussion is making me want to get them both! Thanks :)

I guess this will be a grinding weekend.

I know there are a lot of complaints about GT7, most of which I do not share, but this is my one major gripe. I wish there were MORE events with larger payouts than the 3 or 4 which make going after these expensive cars somewhat palatable. I don't mind doing the grinding (that much) - I just wish there were more variety in the larger payout races

For example, the new 600pp and 700pp events at Grand Valley are awesome. If they could triple or quadruple the payout, I'd run them all the time.

I’ve been preparing for this day since I got the game and set out to own every car. I’m still at work but I’m just over 90 million credits so old Hagerty better be ready to take my money.
