Still looking for the '66 GT40 for the latest bonus menu book. It looks to be about 2-3 weeks away from appearing again?
It's available now. :)

Yeah just give us the Blue colour already damnit!
That ain't a new thing though! I remember the Used Dealership of I think it was GT4 where I would check the Formuila 1 car to see if it was a blue colour and it kept giving me every colour except the blue one, I eventually got it but goodness knows how many game days had passed.

Anyone any idea when the Shelby GT350 is up next? I thought I'd bought that one but it seems I missed it and of course now it's needed for the extra menu book....

It's a fair way down the rotation, may be a while. Perhaps adding it to a wishlist will speed things up.

Yeah that's the problem, I don't think I can add it without the car being in one of the deallerships, no worries, I can wait for it to appear again, I have to wait the full rotation anyway to get the Aston Martin DB3 as I missed that one when it was up.

You can add cars to the wish list from the extra menu.

I have not tried it, but I thought there was a restore livery option?
The restore livery function in the GT Auto will revert the car back to how it was prior to making any changes to the car via the livery editor. Meaning if I were to paint it blue, save it, and then use the restore livery function it will remove the blue colour.

My only options around this would be to recreate the default livery, which is a major pain and also will end up rendered at lower resolution than the default livery, or I wait an eternity, or so rather it seems, for the car to appear in the factory default blue.

I bought it ages ago, but you NEED it to complete the book.
I have the collected the other fords as well, but I NEED to have them to complete it.

Such a stupid way to do things.

The GT40 just isn't worth the money for an extra ticket. Then again I bought the McLaren F1 but that's besides the point.

I finally finished the 7th lap at LM 700pp and I waited for the 15ish extra seconds to finish the race, and I used the GT40 mkI to do it! Of course it didn’t rain a drop so I never had to change tires, but I’ve never finished 7 laps in less than 30 minutes so it’s definitely quick there at least.

The 1965 Shelby G.T.350 jumped a bunch of spots to come back almost 2 months early, probably because it's required for one of the new menu books. Of course, it doesn't help that the Cobra 427 sold out a month after that, and before that menu book went live.

I will accept this for now.
I can make a clone of my Mom's car.

* I have complaints about the '65 front end parts from GT Auto 😡View attachment 1252408 And why did my emblems disappear! 😡 Those are not stickers PD! Okay I guess they where never there. That brings the why on race bumper even higher up the WTF list.

The T-bucket hostage standoff continues.

Maybe the "people who wish list a car makes it show up quicker" thing is still active?

I still say that was just a cover for simply getting cars needed for Extra Menus available over Christmas outside the rotation. Except for the McLaren MP4/4 (which, for a while, was put on a monthly rotation and later became a car needed for an Extra Menu), all of them were such. The prime example is the Renault Gordini - there's no way it was even near the top of wish lists.

Unless players added it because it was in a menu and they wanted to finish it.

We'll see. If it's another of PD's mass skips, the Porsche 911 GT1 and/or Porsche 356A/1500 GS Carrera will show up tomorrow as they last showed up 3/8, a day after the G.T.350. If not, the non-Dior De Tomaso Mangusta (last showed up 2/2, currently the 2nd-longest stretch behind the hostage Ford Roadster) and/or Dodge Challenger (last showed up 2/5) will show up tomorrow.

As a reminder, the Christmas-time additions, both in Hagerty's and the UCD, were all "Hot" cars that were added outside the rotation schedule. Except for the MP4/4, their next appearances were on the rotation schedule set by their previous non-"Hot" appearances. That's not the case with the G.T.350.
How do you add a legendary car to your wish list if it never shows up? Foe example, how can I add the Roadster to my wishlist?
You can't. You can, however, add an Extra Menu car from the Extra Menu.

It's a single-car skip for the Shelby G.T.350 as the non-Dior Mangusta and Dodge Challenger showed up in Hagerty's tonight, for the same 245,000/306,000 (respectively) they cost last time.
