There's an extremely simple way to check if it's a 956 or a 962. It got an increased wheelbase that all happened in the front of the car so the front axle sat ahead of the drivers feet.

This is a 956.

This is a 962.

Note the distance between the door shut line and the side indicator, then the distance between the indicator and the back of the front wheelhouse.

This is the car in GTS/7.

You can't use the paint scheme as a reference as it's a fictionalized tobacco-free scheme that never ran in real life.

It's chassis 962-003.
Do you happen to know if user-created tobacco liveries are accepted in the game? I want that Camel livery @kiroquai posted but honestly can't tell whether that is an IRL photo or a user-created livery

Edit: I think your last post answered that question, lol. Looks like I need to learn how to find liveries

Thanks!!! So the scanned car was a 962, but they applied a 956 livery on it for some reason. Specs work for both.

In Gt7 when you go get parts it mentions engine type 935/82 , which was a 2994cc used in 1987, so yes, another imprecision about the GT7 car.

Apparently the cars they're gonna sell before starting another cycle of legendary cars from the beginning would not only be the McLaren F1 GTR - BMW '95, but also the Jeep.

Rothmans was used on the 962 as well, as noticed by the chassis history post I liked earlier.

We should see a lot of cars going "limited" in the next two days, so we will probably be close to a complete cycle by Friday or Saturday. Mclaren, Jeep, '61 250 GT, Daytona, DB5, Alfa Giulia, S1 Pikes Peak, and Z432. After those we'll be seeing the cars that were available at launch. So by this time next week we should be fully-cycled.

The Willys? Or is there another one?

Absolutely not. I don't know about you guys, but I haven't seen a new car in days. Very frustrating since I am wanting to buy 5 or 6 cars in particular but it is physically impossible ..
We got the 962 less than 48 hours ago.

Any idea when this, 911 996 GT1 Strassenversion 1997, will pop up (again?), i may have missed it, because i already saw people driving it.

No one knows when they're going back, but yes I believe all cars showed up by now.

To give a more helpful answer if we go by the log of the cars in the 1st run through the 911 996 GT1 Strassenversion 1997 was on the following dates:

Appeared Mar 17 and was sold out Mar 23 so given the cycle is due to start again next week and if it follows same pattern you are likely looking at 20-22 May for it to appear again but this is purely based on me working out the dates from original appeareance to now so may not be 100% accurate.

Picked up the Delta Integrale from the UCD,now just waiting for the Alfa 155 to appear in the LCD.That will be all the cars collected that im interested in buying, not withstanding new cars added in coming updates.

Okay but I thought it was supposed to be available after doing the trial mountain cup on menu 17?
I presume you've spoken to Luca in the cafe after completing Menu Book 17?

If that has been done then try activating the next Menu book and going back to the world map and see if it prompts the refresh of Legend Car dealership on the mpa.

Worst scenario the game might not think you finished 3rd or higher so try rechecking the championship you just completed and your overall result (it's in the top right corner on the championship), if that's not showing 3rd redo the championship and should fix the problem!

Are the Vulcan and Veneno worth buying?
I don't buy cars just for the sake of owning them. Only want those that are fun to drive.
The Vulcan handles as an understeered pig.
Power oversteer is almost impossible above 2nd gear.

Can't believe this is a true representation of the car that Aston Martin build. It handled probably better before patch 1.13 though ...

The Vulcan was designed to prioritize grip and downforce, so I don’t really see the problem.

I filled out a form on their website and Fired it up this morning and it’s now available.. was definitely some sort of bug.

Cheers for the help though, much appreciated.

Glad the problem got fixed.

As expected, two cars sold out (the 1999 Nissan GT-R GT500 and 1970 Plymouth Superbird), and 2 more entered limited-stock status (the 1920 Mercedes-Benz S Barker Tourer and 1955 Porsche Spyder type 550/1500RS). That means 2 new cars tomorrow night and 2 Friday night.

So the Jeep and F1 GTR in 23 hours and, provided the rotation remains the same, 2 of either the Cobra Daytona Coupe, Audi Pikes Peak, Fairlady Z 432, 250 GT Berlinetta or DB5 on Friday.

I will be saving my money then until tomorrow and friday... I was going to shop like crazy in brand central but i'll hold on to my 12 million
