From 98mil all the way down to 60mil in one fell swoop... That's an expensive update, and I've got another 6.3mil to spend tomorrow on a GT40 Mk1 duplicate and more than likely a couple Porsche Carrera RS CS's that are about due in the UCD. Another 6.2mil on duplicates of the Miura and '84 GTO in the next week or so. Still need the 300SL W194 and 250 GTO so there's at least another 31-34mil. Not to mentioned duplicates of about 15 other road cars. That's also totally ignoring the Alfa 8c and S Barker! No way I can afford those cars!

I worked the hell out of the Tomahawk glitch and afk script, and I'm STILL going to have to go back to running my PS5 all night as I don't have the credits to keep up with this. Granted I don't NEED duplicates, but spending 50% of a car's cost for a new engine or 120% for a new body is even more insane if the weight reductions/wide-body, etc ruin the handling...

Does anyone actually like this game? This isn't fun to me. It's not "rewarding" that I just spent about 15% of a month's worth of grinding on two cars, it feels like I just spent two hours in the hood only to get sold a bag of dope that was stomped-on so many times there's no opiate left in it. I legit am starting to wonder if I don't have some kind of addiction to this twisted Skinner Box they call a game. (though at least the rats in the box received some kind of tangible reinforcement). Is that it, am I just dumber than the average inbred lab rat?! A game is supposed to be fun, not catalyze an existential crisis! lol But I'm sure I'll be back tomorrow since I'm a ****ing moron that keeps coming back no matter how much I loathe the experience... Almost 12 years I spent addicted to heroin and the way this game makes me feel is not far from where I was at just before I finally got clean. I'm sure this is fine though, and totally good for the health of all the players. Nope, not at all deleterious! On the other hand I finally have the 917k! :dunce:

Going to pass on the two expensive ones this time again. Bought the Jag and Porsche in the last few days. Will just buy some stuff from the new car dealer until the Chaparral comes around again.

Been going on a spending spree for the past week or so and just bought the Porsche 917K today but still $9M short on the F1:banghead:.
Better get back to grinding for some more Cr. then.:ouch:

With the cost of some of these cars, GT7 is a grind more than it is fun. For now, I'm just grinding my azz off to collect all the Hagerty cars.

Gratz on beating heroin addiction! That must have been hell.

I'm in the same boat with GT7, basically been collecting cars so I can make N24 endurance races without VGT trash, 8 of them in GR.1 :banghead: I've done over 300 Tommy Tokyo runs to get the funds togther, now got 8 mil left for the last car, Ford GT40 Mk1. Hopefully it doesn't increase in price as well!

I tried the 917K at Sardegna, don't like how it handles at all lol. Turn slightly at speed for the high speed corners and it starts sliding into the nearest wall without warning. Brake while not perfectly straight, insta spin. Fuel drains away, got to drive in FM6 to make it with 2 pit stops. Not fun at all. I'll be driving a different car lol.

Back to Forza 7, fun campaign races there. And I get to knock people from my friend's list off the track. The only thing drivatards are good for :lol: I'll collect the ticket of sorrow again tomorrow, and maybe N24 will be as race C? That's the one thing that keeps me going, racing on N24. That's a true addiction. 3,373 races completed on N24 and Nordschleife combined in GT Sport!
 
I don't think I'm gonna buy the F1. Just the 917k then. Besides, seems like the F1 GTR I bought the previous weeks seems more fun to drive at 10 mil.
 
I have bought McLaren F1 1994. It's really unstable car and not easy to drive at all. Huayra 2013 much more stable car in the same hard race tires. I should compare with GT Sport version, cos as I remember it was very stable (it has stabbility rating 5.7)

I have bought almost all legendary cars. Almost all cars are unstable and hard to drive copare mordern cars. Even LaFerrari in GT7 looks very easy to drive compare F1 1994 (and it has stability raring 4.1 in GT Sport)

Sure it's not a big increase, but it was already one of the most expensive cars in the game. There was absolutely no need to increase it further other than to annoy people. It's not like anyone was going to complain it was too cheap, were they? I know it's a Sony slogan, not a PD one, but it's not "For the players" is it?

100% this game is not for the players.
Its an incomplete broken mess, followed up with outwrite and obvious lies from PD about the games quality.

Considering the history of the GT series, this makes no logical sense to but it really looks like Gt7 is a cash grab by Sony / PD. Which is really stupid because this game has all the potential to be amazing but for some reason, PD is insistant on making everything hard and less fun than it should be.
 
Yes unfortunately McLaren F1 price is raised to 19.400.000 Cr. from 18.500.000. You should pay extra 900.000 Cr. if you didn't buy before.



Porsche 917K is at same price: 18.000.00 Cr.

I've got just over 18 million Cr, no way I'll have time to grind for both. So which one do I go for?

If you buy car for win and you already have Huayara 2013, you don't need McLaren F1. Huayara is very stable compare with McLaren F1, and it's fast. McLaren F1 looks like a challange to win the race and not go out of the track. It reminds me LaFerrari in GT Sport: fast but hard to drive.
And McLaren F1 doesn't fit for WTC800 and WTC700 races, cos fuel economy 1 get only 3 laps, even worse then Viper Gr3 (4 laps), and much worse then Gr2 cars with 5-6 laps.

Maybe McLaren F1 will be more stable with 200kg ballance. I will try to do that today. But Huayara 2013 looks much greater right now. Even cockpit is so dark here for some reason.

I didn't buy Porsche. I will buy it in 1-2 days when I'll grind more money. I watched videos, and it looks like not stable and fast. I don't believe that Porsche can race with old gr1 cars.

I can buy both and I really love the F1 but I think the F1 is just too ridiculously expensive. With the similar price I personally rather go with the 917k.

I'm just really trying so hard not to buy the F1 lol there are other cars that I want to buy first. I hate that Car Collection page, it triggers my OCD seeing those blank cars.
 
Didn't realise the 917 was back so soon. Spent all my time grinding for both GR010s and the C9. Guess I'll have to wait again again. Haha
 
I don't have the credits yet and don't want to grind so I will have to pass on both to save for the GT40. I will just wait for the next cycle.
 
Strange how the F40 just fell out of the rotation. Aside from that, that Seamus guy's spreadsheet of expected dates for LCD cars has been flawless!
 
Bought the 917k
Its fast and ver controlable (specially for a car from 1970). Its downside is its tiny fuel tank.
If you bought this car and want to use it for something, use it in le mans 700pp 30mins. Fuel map 6 all the way, fuel enough for 3 complete laps. Easy win.

Good luck grinding back those 18M.
Gonna skip the mclaren for now
