Because once upon a time I tried to repaint my green Autobianchi to a creamy white, but the game also wanted to repaint the black bumpers. Then I tried to repaint a car with decal badges, and they disappeared. From that point I decided to just wait for cars until they show up in the colour I want.

You might be waiting a while! Sounds car specific? Otherwise I think you can chose to not paint the bumpers?

Why does the F50 top out at 190 instead of 202 like the real car?
Don't know if it's still the case but in a previous GT game or games, people were saying that the way PD do the downforce calculations were wrong. That they weren't taking into account the the clean downforce of things like diffusers. For example the McLaren F1 road car top speed has never got near it's real life top speed because PD just whack on downforce like it has wings when it achieves much of its downforce through the diffuser which is also fan powered. Might be the case with the F50.

For me, Ferrari = RED. But, you need to know this if you like exclusivity:

View attachment 1151321

"The vast majority of the F50s that Ferrari sold were, as you might expect, finished in red. In fact 302 out of the 349 were painted Rosso Corsa, and another eight in a darker shade of Rosso Barchetta. There were a handful painted other colors, though – including 31 in Giallo Modena, four in Argento Nurburgring, and four in Nero Daytona – like the one you see here." - Font

SO, the black Nero Daytona F50 is very rare! That´s it. :)
I looked at both colors on the car, drove a few laps Maggiore and watched both replays....., But you convinced me dcloco, she is Nero Daytona again with black pumps 😆

Thanks for sharing the info, always nice to have some background that can change a thought !

similar boat, actually got into daily races last week, so i 'lost' 4m from not doing the le mans for my daily mileage. 44k left after buying the F50, and i just cannot find the will to drive the same races for 2.5 more hours to win the MkIV. and since i chose to try and do laps in non-WRXs in Race B qualifying, today's half hour session counts for 0.0 miles.

i am not sure what their plans for keeping the player base around after people collect what they want / tire of the same 4 races. they'd have to release 10+ legendary cars per year (along with races to use them in) to make this system viable... not sure i've got faith in that.
Anyone who isn't doing the AFK script passive grind, is imposing unnecessary tedium on themselves. I refuse to spend even 20 minutes doing a stupid Tokyo "race" with an overpowered Tomahawk, nor will I be forced to race Le Mans and Sardegna over and over again instead of learning to drive all the tracks. In my limited GT7 time, I drive the tracks I want with the cars I want. I've now got all the cars I want (340ish), very few VGTs, no Hyundais (who ever dreamed of driving a Hyundai!?!), no collector value only cars, no boring as truck FF slowmobiles, and 98M in the bank waiting for the Maclaren F1, F50 and a few other fun drives to drop in the LCD.
In other words: I can play the game I purchased and enjoy every minute of it.

to each their own… I have no interest in setting up my PlayStation to do that. I would only want credits so I could have cars that I use and improve, so running Le Mans / Sardegna and learning how to tune cars has been a fine enough grind for me. I think I’ve earned 150m or so credits and, if they ever sort out BoP/tuning, I’ve got about 30-40 cars I’ve set up.

Personally I would just stop playing the video game before doing that. Remember the underpants gnomes from South Park? That’s how I’d feel setting up an AFK for this game right now.

Indeed to each their own, for me such scripting personaly is a real No-go, and the value of money is completely gone then, I do drive the higher credit races more often, so yes, i know Spa very well.
I have 28 milion right now, waiting for the Jag to arrive to make platinum, did over 80% of the CE's to make the extra money,
It feel much better imo to buy a nice car this way :-)

But i would love to be at that point racing my bank account to your 98 Mil. :)

Well it's gonna be an 'expensive' day today, have 37 million in the bank but 23 million of that is going into Legend dealership for all the cars currently up for sale so I will have 14 million left over.

Hopefully I will get some time to grind a bit later since I'll need to get the money back up for ze Jag and the Ferrari when they reappear.

what car is releasing tonight? So far ive bought every car currently in hagerty right now except the sold out shelby which I didnt have time to grind for lol...I was checking my profile and I've spent 100 million in cars...how do I check how many cars I have for each category such as brand central, used dealership and hagerty

I have no desire of running the script... getting money that easily would give me no reason to play the game... I'm good doing 3 races a day on Tokyo so just one hour everyday

Hi :

Probably it will be the Plymouth XNR Ghia Roadster '60 if you look at the list at

I use the kudosprime database. ( https://www.kudosprime.com/gt7/carlist.php). I enter every car there. You have the option to list the cars you have according to many criteria including the origin of the car (legendary, dealer or used cars).

For example : this is a list of the legendary cars missing in my garage :

COuldn't agree more, like mentioned each to their own, but running the script negates need to worry about either using the tomahawk or repeating the other 3 higher paid races by default to make any substantial amount of money.

You can enjoy more variety and doesn;t matter if the payouts are a fraction of the other races.

Sorry but cheating to pump our fake bank account isnt in the cards for a lot of us.

And it's not like the rest of us are just sitting around grinding the same 3 tracks. CE gives a ton of money. Tokyo alone is worth around 6 mil IIRC. There are others where you can get 800k-1.2mil in about 15 min to an hour.

Yeah, I agree. Between creating some amazing tunes and getting many more from @praiano63 I have enjoyed just playing the game organically. I’m about 98% done with CEs and have a little over 300 cars now with 60 million credits so there’s that. The game does need much more content though, especially when it comes to GR 2 and 1 races that have good payouts.

Nice, that is how the game should be played imo, makes the fun stick alot longer i think, nice job!

This is so funny to me. Your statement implies that the only reason you play GT7 is to see your fake bank account increase.
Don't you see how strange that is? Its a car racing game. The fun should come from racing cars, not from seeing the fake bank balance increase.

That's 30 hours a month spent doing a boring no fun grind. A Each to their own but no way am I sacrificing my valuable time to spend an hour a day doing something that's no fun when I could be driving the cars, tracks and races that I actually want to during that time.

I usually grind Tokyo 2 times and the 800 PP Races using various GT2 inspired cars i've made downloading liveries and applying upgrades with the occasional custom race in between. I agree PD need to add more events as soon as possible, especially for anything higher than 800PP the next update.

OT: I missed the Ford MKIV first time around so I will be purchasing that one along with a second F50 since my first one has max upgrades, I hate how they allowed us to turn the F40 into a Competizone but not allow us to atleast get the F50 GT Front end and spoiler; the car has pretty bad handling when maxed out unlike the F40 which is still twitchy but much better to get a hold of.

I missed the F40 last time, so I can't wait to get my hands on it!, the F50 is indeed very hard work, second and third full throttle while cornering gets a nice view from the sidewindows 😄 bit it sounds so damn good 👍

it's actually 28 a hours a month to be exact... and the race is actually fun for me... it's a challenge everyday to get a fast time without penalties... still haven't been able to beat my own 1:17 lap and 17:06 time...I don't see how an hour a day doing Tokyo for 3 races is that bad and tedious for you... for me it's fun and and quite enjoyable while getting money for just an hour worth of my time...

I play to not increase my bank account but to collect and buy all the cars in the game... isn't that one of the purposes of the game is to have every car? I'm trying to accomplish that by playing the game and actually earning everything I have... the script will give you endless cash for not doing anything... where is the fun in that? I'm not in a rush to buy every car in the game... like others have said I don't see the point in getting all the cars really quickly or grinding all day to get the cars... I rather take my time and enjoy the game and finish it at my own pace

The game is dead and Kaz is fully responsible and as much as I hate to say this about him he needs to step away from the franchise as director and just retire to consultant. Kaz doesn't have that same drive and connection to the community he once had as a young man to make a great game... and there isn't a excuse like the PS3 era hard to code, game engine rewrites, short staff and crazy deadlines.

The month May is almost over where are our QOL updates, features and communication?? I see older Forza games on the front page more than GT7 news.

I could go on a tirade of UI and game systems that make no sense for GT7 and its simple stuff that takes the game 5 steps forward gets taken 10 steps backwards....Why? as director and CEO you are responsible for looking after the ship BRO.

As a longtime fan of this franchise (GT2) I hate seeing something I love look like this and I feel like I love his creation more than he does at this point and I'm sure many of you feel the same in particular.

Because I enjoy racing. Not flogging the field using a hacked car that cannot lose due to a PP glitch that lets it overtake the field in the first straight of the race.

Great. You do you, Boo. If you enjoy it, then carry on. When you say "just an hour worth of my time", remember that some of us have pretty busy lives and get "just an hour of our time" to play GT7 a few times a week if we're lucky. Now what would I rather do with those few hours a week? Grind Tokyo using aforementioned hacked car? Or drive whatever car and track combo I feel like driving, without giving a flying fig what the payout will be?
Hacker with an attitude 😂 Bet everyone doing the real grind is faster than you.
And?

You contradict yourself a lot you know… you say you don’t like driving in a hacked car that’s OP but yet you will take the free money in the AFK script… all the cars in the game have no value because you didn’t do much to get it… but hey if that’s how you like to play the game by all means do it that way… the tomahawk is OP but at least im playing the game to get the money while you just flick your playstation on and money is sitting in your account…

Bro. There's no contradiction there whatsoever. And you're misquoting me. Its not the hacked car that I have a problem with. Its the fact that I'm required to waste my valuable time driving it in a "race" that cannot be lost in a car that doesn't feel at all like a car. I may as well be playing Wipeout or some other science fiction game.

For the record the AFK method also uses a grossly overpowered Tomahawk that cannot lose. Its also a damn boring race as it blows away the rest of the field. You know what the big difference is between the AFK method and the Tokyo grind? I don't have to waste my time driving it whereas you're spending an hour a day on it.

If that's going to give you a feeling of satisfaction that you've "earned" all your cars then more power to you. We all take different enjoyment from the game. Personally, I bought it to drive fun cars and tracks whenever I want. And that's what I do

so why do YOU care how other people play the game?

You enjoy getting free cars while doing nothing while I actually earn my cash to buy the cars... seems to me you like taking the easy route in life... if that's how you live your life then go ahead do it YOUR way
