It's funny we lost 7-0 tonight at the Cardinals, because I already moved on to football season. Leaps and bounds changes will need to be made for the Astros to even equal their 56-win season last season. The Astros are now a (multiple expletives) disgraceful 39-84. I now sympathize with those of you who have to endure through terrible seasons with your favorite teams. And like they say- it's only funny... as long as it isn't happening to you.

Yay, us. Just fast-forward this season already so we can our asses handed to in the American League next season...

We started our game tonight by getting 5 runs in the first inning, and have been blanked since. Meanwhile, Miami has come back to tie it.

Edit: Now in the top of the 10th Miami scored and lead it 6-5. We're going to lose this 🤬 game. :yuck:

Timmy pitched damn good even with the terrible strike zone. Only went 5 2/3 innings but only gave up 1 ER. The best thing was his fastball which was the best we've seen all year. Topping out at 94 with his usual devastating movement. The key with him is the control at the knees which he had and was able to get the ground ball with runners on. BABIP is awkwardly high this year especially with runners on. Something that won't be a constant.

What a game for Pagan and god damn... Scutaro has been doing it all lately. What a pick up.

So the Phillies lost to the Reds last night 5-4, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Phils' AAA team) split a doubleheader with the Toledo Mud Hens, and the Reading Phillies (AA) defeated the Harrisburg Senators 11-9. And I watched parts of all four games.

Hmm, wonder who's next....

The Diamondbacks have placed Joe Saunders on trade wavers as of last night. :nervous:

Means Straily will be sent down and come right back up.

D-Backs want him gone. They are content with Miley, Cahill, Kennedy, Corbin and Skaggs/Bauer. If they are done this year then with Hudson probably back sometime next year they want to go straight preparing to hone their young arms.

Yeah. He was doing so well though at the beginning of the season, then tanked.

Miley and Skaggs on the mound today in our double header. We need to win both games to save face after the last two days. :ouch:

Well then. I'll just leave this here. :dunce:

You can put a "where are they now" credits .

Colon: Suspended
Melky: Suspended
Suzuki: Abhorred by all of this he demanded to leave the West Coast and go to the Natinals .

Prosthetic

Come on man, dudes a pro for 6 years. Then hits the age of 30 and starts crushing the ball(insane amount). Look at his numbers.
Hoping cano aint juicing. Ever since the melky story broke he has been bad. Hopefully its just coincidence

Skaggs just struck out the side in the 5th. He made one mistake and gave up a 2-run homer in the 2nd, but has been pretty much lights out since. 👍

1 win down today. Now Miley's turn to get us another one to split the series. Other than the 5 walks, rookie Skaggs was great in his debut.

Ill give ya the tiny parks angle. But the pitching certainly isnt meh

Red Sox have had terrible pitching for years.
Orioles have had pretty bad pitching for years.
Yankees have improved over the past 2 years but still kind of average.
The rays are solid but they give up a ton of hits.

Terrible pitching?

2004 = Pedro Martinez and Curt Schilling

That was 8 years ago. Not a single sub 4 ERA and the lowest WHIP is 2.8.

2011 they didn't have a single guy reach the 200 IP plateau.

Lester and Buchholz were solid in 2010, but the rest was shaky.

Consistent and durable are two words that don't describe Boston Pitching.

Wade Miley with another great start. Gibson asks him if he's feeling okay to do the 8th inning and he get's a thumbs up. Goes out there and strikes out all 3 batters. :D

Love it.

Beltre hit 3 homeruns in his first three at bats. Apparently that's him doing his best Josh Hamilton impression. AND against the same team. Rangers over the Orioles12-3 :)

Wow dude,just wow

The AL East is probably the worst division for pitchers due to the parks (I don't think any of them are pitcher's parks).
