Pagan is playing like a man possessed. Any other park in baseball he would have a 2 HR night... He is going to have to settle with a double a stand up triple and two singles. Last 10 games, 45 ABs, 12R, 20H .444 AVG. Posey still hitting over .400 since ASG and got a few more walks and a RBI double tonight... Sandovals hamstring is getting better every game and he had another good game. Including some great highlight reels.

Our team in the second half have been so freakin' good defensively. Not a weak part on the field.

I'm super scared of Crawfords career 105 OPS+ in hitters parks. And Shanes 102 career OPS+ in a hitters park. Kemp and Ethier sure killed us a few games ago, I don't know what were going to do.

And where the hell were all the Doggie fans last series? Dodgers front office in full panic mode. Have fun with the worst minor league system in baseball and a bunch of 30 sums making $20+ Million a year and under performing.

Geez, salty much? :sly:

Finally they get the Braves on the Fox Saturday game, I forget all about it. I only caught the eighth inning, but I'm just glad they won. I think they were tied with the Giants for the first Wild Card, so this win helps. I'm still hoping they somehow catch up with the Nats.

We won 3-1 on Friday night, but we lost 3-1 today. So the Mets got her done today at Citi Field. Two teams celebrating 50 years of existence battling each other in this series.

...and Kennedy gives up yet another home run in the first inning. He's 3rd in the National League for most home runs given up this year.

Edit: Just gave up another one in the 4th. By the end of the night he's going to be at the top of that list. Sheesh. :yuck:

Edit 2: Just gave up another one! Son of a 🤬!

Edit 3: 6-2 score now, we've lost this one too. Good thing SF lost today I guess. So far my prediction is correct.....................................

Cards got scraped by the Reds today. Didn't see the game though.

However they did well last night.:D Back to back homers in an 8-5 comeback win.

We lost.

Our season is over. I'm going to laugh my ass off if San Diego jumps us in the standings before the end of the season.

At least you won't finish in the cellar like my team :indiff:.

Nope, just realistic.

I actually agree with you. I know two people who are Dodger fans and they both say that this trade is really bad for the Dodgers. Taking on bad contracts and $261 million while giving up 4 prospects is pretty stupid for future growth. Dee Gordon is now almost certain to be dealt or stymied and Victorino won't come back.

The Angels are making a run at the Mets for the most pathetic bullpen.

2-1, Mets. Does your team need wins? Just play against us! My Astros will gladly fail to improve your win-loss record.

Damned shame. But as I said earlier, I've already moved on to the Texans a long time ago, so I don't really care about this season even if we go on a 20-game winning streak or something else that's spectacular.

D-Backs, yay........... Braves lost, but at least Dodgers also lost, and the Birds won! full of agendas, I know.....

Funny how a few day a persons opinion can change... Couple days ago every Dodger fan got a massive erection for the trade. Now they all hate it... lulz.

It's too early to comment for me. When they officially miss the Playoffs, I'll give my Dodger fan friends some special greetings. :mischievous: :P

If the Giants go 18-16 which is perfectly reasonable as the Giants have the best record against same division teams and the only non division teams we have to play are the Cubs and Astros. In that time the Dodgers have to go 20-13 to TIE it. In the final game of the season against the Dodgers Bumgarner is pitching. I feel pretty confident in that game if it does come down to it.

The Giants have played the Astros and Cubs well this year and we've been a much better road team as of late. (Sorry John!)

After everybody (mostly ESPN) and their mommas prostituted about Matt Cain perfect gaming my Astros in San Francisco, that same Cain is back. The Giants will send Matt Cain to the mound, and we'll counter with Bud Norris. We're not going to anybody's postseason this season, so all we're [attempting] to do is screw up the NL West a little bit if the Astros can pick up a win or two against the Giants.

By the way... anybody see the Brewers pound the crap out of the Cubs in Chicago? I think MIL had back-to-back-to-back jacks to win big in the Top of the 9th. They were already ahead anyways, but they just pulled away even more.

"King Felix" and his Mariners won 1-0 on the road in Minneapolis. Felix Hernandez on a roll.

Good luck to all of your team(s) in the new series.

I'm going to be brutally honest. If the Dodgers cannot solve their hitting with RISP quickly they will not be making the playoffs (or even the wildcard).

Heck, the Mets somehow are in the top 5 with runs scored with 2 outs, how is that possible?

With the way we are playing, we'll be in last place by the time September is over.

The Giants had this problem all year. For most of the year the Giants have been in the top 5 in hits but bottom 10 in runs scored... At home the Giants have been terrible... on the road we are one of the best offenses in baseball... AT&T isn't THAT big... I think its a mental thing. But we sure mash it on the road.

I hope you are right! I'm just worried, because I know that they've recently made a big trade, and that does become an x-factor which adds bit of unpredictability. So far so good(sorry Dodger fans). :P
