Just pulled that one off. Walk-off sac fly for Torii. Today was a must win (well every game is a must win for the Angels now, but even more so today with Texas and Oakland today).

I seem to be sold more on the Orioles than I do the Athletics. It's not that I've grown to like the cartoon bird logo for the Orioles (which I learned comes from their 1960s uniforms), but because they just seem so talented and stacked.

Assuming both OAK and BAL make the postseason, which do you think will go further? And HOW much further (anywhere from First Round to World Series champs)?

lolol

Just read this interview... And I have to say... T.J. Simmers has to be the worst interviewer of all ****ing time. And apparently knows nothing about baseball... He gave up 3ER in 6 IP in Coors field against a good hitting team... That's good... in fact that's a quality start. Not his fault the Dodgers O sat back and did nothing.

Prosthetic

Ugh god, hang it up old man. Simmers is just trying to bait Beckett.Reminds me of a tame jay marioti. I love his tape recorder quote. My mom and dad are both in their sixtys and our primary form of communication is via email and/or text. And they are the most untech savy people around.

Beckett's answers are awesome.

Which makes him a terrible interviewer... His questions were absolutely terrible. I learned nothing from that other then that he is a terrible writer/interviewer that knows absolutely nothing about baseball. Our version of that is Gary Radnich. I can't stand listening to him. I hate more sports writers anyway... They are all so full of it.

Yeah are. I cracked up at how surprised Simers was when Becks said he made a ****** pitch... "Was that your choice of words?" ... well yeah... did he not just say that? Or are you implying that he should sensor his thoughts. Douche.

Well we're leading 2-0 at the moment, Corbin has been FANTASTIC. But I'm still nervous about this one, since the DBacks can't seem to add anymore runs to save their lives.

Edit: And just as I say that, the Reds tied it up with a 2-run home run. Shouldn't have opened by big 🤬 mouth. :yuck:

Edit 2: Now another homer puts us behind 3-2. This is 🤬 bull:censored:.

Edit 3: 5-2 now. 🤬 it I'm done listening. :ouch: Put a fork in us, we're done.

Note to self: You're good at bringing your team misfortune like that lol.

Tell me the truth. Your real name is John. You live in, or near Houston, and are a Rockets fan.

P.S. Braves & the Cards are getting their 🤬 kicked again!!!! 🤬 🤬 I'm done.

So far, this decade has been a disappointment for the Astros. It won't get much better next season in being an AL doormat. One thing I WILL make mention to is that I read about the Astros probably going with some sort of orange and navy uniform in their move from the NL to the AL. One site I read shown off a possible uniform change that may sort of encompass Astros uniforms of the past. I've always been impartial to the '80s uniforms with the big rainbows.

Just something I wanted to share. Have to share some kind of Astros talk besides my boys losing. You and me both, astrosdude91 (Post 1907). :(

Please. Won't make much difference. I bet even the 1962 Colt .45s could easily take down the 2012 Astros.

I did see "MLB Tonight" on the MLB Network as the Rockies tried to mount that comeback. I'm sure Dodger nation would have been ticked off had they lose in Denver having been up by many runs. But sadly, the Rockies fell 10-8 to the Dodgers earlier on Wednesday.

I also saw bits of the Reds at Diamondbacks game on MLB Tonight as well from Wednesday. The way Cincinnati's been playing this season, there's no shame in losing to the Reds.

Congratulations to all other winners from Wednesday's games.

We won 10-3!! Garrett Richards threw me a ball to me during BP! :D

That's a cool feeling. Greg Maddux threw me a ball at a Braves game once (yep, I'm old :P) and I darn near dropped it. There's a big divide between the seats and wall too, that ball woulda been gone forever .

Imagine how different you would be if you dropped it. The ball that got away .

They had guys down there, so I imagined one of them would help me out .

In 2014, Minneapolis will host the MLB All-Star Game. It will be the third time the city has hosted the All-Star Game. I forgot to make mention to this any time earlier.

Makes sense that they get it. I am under the belief that soon the game will be in Washington and Miami. Out of all of the teams, only Miami and Tampa Bay have never hosted an All-Star Game (Tampa Bay for ridiculously obvious reasons, Miami though should get one, maybe in 2015 when they, Washington and Cincinnati are bidding against one another).

I almost caught a foul ball by Howie Kendrick a couple years ago. I was taking pictures at the time so I was also holding the camera, so that certainly didn't help me. If I had just jumped a couple inches higher......:guilty:

Anyways, When the hell are the A's going to start losing? There's only so much ground that the Angels can gain if they keep winning.....

And then we'd be doing a what if scenario of you dropping your camera :dopey:.
