Getting a TV package upgrade which includes ESPN America so I'll finally be able to watch at least some baseball on TV over the pond in the UK. Up to now I've had to put up with internet streaming and the low quality MLB TV free broadcast for each day of play, so this will be a brilliant step up!

Can you get a MLB TV subscription over there? I had it last year and definitely worth it to watch games on tv through PS3.

Hard to believe Boston has now lost their season-high 6th straight game. Red Sox fans... now you know how it feels to be the Astros. Hell- we've lost seven straight games four times this season. Losing sucks. I know. We've (the Astros) have been used to this feeling. It's no big thing. Really.

For those who still care about the 2012 Astros, we're likely going to get killed again AGAIN at Pittsburgh. Elsewhere... the Yankees will have the services of one A-Rod back in the lineup at the Rays.

Enjoy Labor Day baseball.

Found out we won 5-1 at the Pirates today. That's win #42 for the Astros. I still don't think we're going to win this Astros at Pirates series. Any Astros' win surely makes me happy. Again- Astros win 5-1 today.

All I can do is laugh right now. Today is a great example of our season. In fact, the last two days are. 🤬 rediculous.

I'm watching the Padres-Dodgers on the freebie trial pass thing right now. Going to eleventh, 3-3. Go Padres! :D

Game. Over. I think....... A double with the bases loaded. 5-3 now!

Edit: Wait, it was only a single. Still 5 runs. :D

.....and the yankees are terrible. 1 game left vs. TB,then 4 game series with Baltimore,3 games vs. Boston (be nice to take 2 of 3),then another 3 with TB,then a 3 game set with TOR,followed by another 3 games against Oakland. Thats rough. Im not in panic mode yet,i would say im at heartburn levels right now. Injures, and the lack of speed is killing us,and not to mention the Yanks have 2 solid SP's and nothing much after that.

I'm listening/watching bits of the Angel's & A's game, and the A's pitcher just took a lined shot to the head. Hopefully he's going to be okay. :nervous: He did walk off the field...

What's up with these 6-2 matches today so far? Phillies won on the road 6-2 at Cincinnati, the New York Mets won 6-2 at St. Louis, and the Chicago White Sox won at home 6-2 vs. the Minnesota Twins. Any more 6-2 games?

More games coming up tonight! Congratulations to all other winners and all would-be winners of games coming up.

Not a bad win tonight. Cahill had a no hitter going into the 7th. I had no confidence in him going the whole way but it was fun to watch. We needed those last two wins to make up for being walked off two days in a row. The new guy is legit!

Edit: oh, and we won 6-2 John.

Tricky Dickey. There we go. 18th victory of the season. I really hope he gets the CY because we've never had a CY winner. Not Seaver, Ryan, Gooden, Cone.... nobody.

Seaver had 3, 1969,1973,1975
Gooden had 1, 1985

Leave it to myself to mess up my own teams' MVP and CY records :ouch:. Haven't had an MVP though. (Although a few have played for us and got one elsewhere).

Nope, I remember the No-No so it wasn't that. I would sell it though.

It wasn't 6-2, but it was 6-3 in favor of the Pirates over my Astros last night. You almost wish you could forfeit the rest of the season when your team is pathetic. However, there's nothing you can do about it but just keep playing on. Even when the NFL's Detroit Lions went 0-16 that one season, all they could do is just play out the rest of that season.

Brandon McCarthy had surgery today to fix an epidural hemorrhage, brain contusion and skull fracture. Very scary :nervous:.
