May Update

I'm not really expecting anything for a while, to be honest. They delivered on the 50 car timeline they announced last November. And there's been no official announcement from PD of anything forthcoming. If we do get anything, I wouldn't be surprised it if didn't happen for a few more months.

If there is a gambling game, I would say that this month there will be only one new circuit. And also a variation of Suzuka, or Nurb, or Dragon Trail (Seaside + Gardens).

I believe that cars will not come. Realistic.

Being a dreamy man, I hope that in E3 SPEC II will be announced.

My guess is that they've released enough cars for the time being, and they may now be releasing tracks. GT Sport does need more tracks, considering how much track variety the series has had, GT Sport is a bit anemic in that regard.

We need an update from PD regarding future updates so that we can believe that the updated game will be up-to-date when it updates.

Soon™ :)

The question is, will the update be updatable for the not-updated game to update it when the update gets up-to-date?

What's going on with the May update? Can somebody bring me up to date?

There is nothing really to tell you.

There has been no confirmation of any update for May. None.

However, we do know, for sure, that FIA Championship Details will be released on 1st June. Whether or not you want to assume anything from that, is your choice.

Also, some people who took part in the GT World Tour Event dropped hints and rumours regarding minor changes to the rating system, which seemed to mostly be to do with 'S Rank', but we shall wait and see. Also, the GT World Tour event featured a different tyre model, and penalties which were taken in the pits, however this does not mean at all any sort of confirmation regarding a May Update and can only be considered for assumptions and rumours.

Well this topic is turning out to be an amusing read.

If there is a May update I hope it introduces the improvements for the community side of the game and I hope that one day
we get an increase in the folder/livery limit increase as given how many decals and liveries are being published this needs to be
reviewed at some stage as they need to allow us more space since it's a popular feature.

Hopefully there are some track variants or hopefully a new track roster but if there are new cars to come this is my wishlist:

BMW M2
Nissan 300ZX (Z32 Model)
Nissan Skyline (R31 Model)
VW Golf Mk1

I love these monthly update threads! The mix of optimism and hate, but either way it builds up a really good hype for the end of the month. I’m in the optimistic group, there has been a monthly update since the start and they’ve all had the Month name update so indications are good that there may well be a May update as well.

There will be an announcement coming on June 1st for the fia, that I expect a few interesting changes so they are likely to do an update on the 31st May to implement these. And my prediction is a real world track as that’s the pattern we’ve had so far, which I reckon will be Silverstone! But not so much in respect to cars this month.

I had already 2 milions ready first for April and now for May update but spent them recently because of the need to test new cars so i bought Audi R18 TDI and few other cars. I have like 148 unique cars. I hope we will get a few new cars if not it will be bad prediction for this game.

Perhaps the new tire model, dynamic time and weather, along with an updated BoP to reinforce SPORT mode in time for the end of the Pre-Season will be coming?

you really think dynamic time is possible ? i would be glad if they add wet tracks even without rain will be fine.
