What scares me most is the thought that PD will leave the penalty system like it is for the official events after the pre-season. I can imagine commentators noticing stuff like that during live events and criticising the game. It won't be pretty.

There is nothing really to tell you.

There has been no confirmation of any update for May. None.

However, we do know, for sure, that FIA Championship Details will be released on 1st June. Whether or not you want to assume anything from that, is your choice.

Also, some people who took part in the GT World Tour Event dropped hints and rumours regarding minor changes to the rating system, which seemed to mostly be to do with 'S Rank', but we shall wait and see. Also, the GT World Tour event featured a different tyre model, and penalties which were taken in the pits, however this does not mean at all any sort of confirmation regarding a May Update and can only be considered for assumptions and rumours.

Wasn’t that in reference to the new BOP they were running, not saying we are going to get the new tyre model but I think it’s potentially likely.

Maintenance guy forgot to warn people there was going to be a maintenance now, so PD has delayed the May update to July.

Edit: now it's back, therefore the update will come in August

Also, I doubt the tyre model will come this update, as the feedback PD recieved from the drivers told them in a nutshell it needed some work.

We really need some good cars like Bugatti Chiron or Porsche 918 this time and a real world track like Le Mans, Spa or Monaco. Also the reason these tracks are not yet in GT Sport, it's because they obviously have to scan the track. And that takes a who heap of money to do. And especially in Spa Francorchamps' case, they have to get in touch with the track organizers to get the go-ahead to scan it. It's a really complicated process altogether .

If it's Monaco it'll be a knockoff Cote d'Azur. F1 has a tight restriction on how the official layout and atmosphere of the track is being portrayed in games.

I'm fine with people wanting Spa, I love Spa, but it seems like EVERY GTS thread has someone going 'SPA WE NEED SPA' and it's become a massive joke.

Just want some variety, is all.

Being totally realistic (or pessimistic, as it would be great if I'm wrong), I'm not expecting 12 car DLC packs for free anymore. PD already fulfilled their promise of 50 cars by March, and I see no reason they, as a company, would continue to give us free content when pretty much no other game developer does these days.

I would not mind paying if the DLCs are fair priced and feature cars that are new to the franchise. Maybe they could still release cars that appeared on previous GT titles, along with the remaining VGTs for free, that would be nice.

I still believe all future tracks to be added to the game should always be free. No reason to segregate people from races in Sport mode because they don't own the track featured in their favorite category.

Why would the "May Update Wishlist" look any different than the one from April or March or February or...? The only reason people will stop asking for the greatest track in the world is that it's included in an update, so you should direct the lack of variety complaint towards PD.

IDEALLY we would get the teaser image this weekend and get the update on the following Wednesday. I've kinda left GT Sport since the last major update with Super GT, and I'm itching for some new content. Daily Races have become quite boring...
