How the....what?
How the....what?
A friend of mine did Episode 16 over and over again. When you defeat the Skulls, every single person is stunned for about 5 minutes. Just run around scanning and extracting them. So long you're 55% done with the game and have over 100k in heroism, you should get a few S rank soldiers a and bunch of A++ soldiers.Still can't find any S rank soldiers, and it's really annoying. Even more so considering the Dispatch missions are now S ranks, and my 3 attempts of sending A++ ranked soldiers at them have all resulted in failure (52% chance of succes).

Need to find that anaesthesia specialist. No luck finding him.

You might need them for combat deployments, but you can sell them for plenty of GMP.Oh, do I need to keep tanks for any one reason, other than Side Ops?
Right now, it's "How 'bout them zombies, ey?" for me - if you time it right, there's an epic sound cue when you drop out of the helicopter and when Pequod first arrives. I think you can find it at Munoko ya Nikoia Station. I've also used "Nitrogen" and "Behind the Drapery", but I did find that last one to be repetitive. What's your song for your helicopter?
Not sure if that's progress related or simply dynamic. One thing I noticed when I watched a friend play via Steam streaming is that he was playing a mission that had security cameras in it. But I had already passed that mission and never saw a camera there. But I am not playing that stealthily, so I guess the game adapts to that (e.g. it only starts placing cameras if you manage to stay out of sight all the time). Same thing with mines. I suspect it might do the same with soldiers and/or other things. I thought it's a pretty cool game mechanic.Still can't find any S rank soldiers, and it's really annoying.
I don't remember being able to in Peace Walker.
It's very dynamic. I've got outposts crawling with heavy infantry, snipers with spotters, infantry carrying ballistic shields and wearing helmets, night vision goggles or gas masks and moving around in tandem, and there are mines and security cameras everywhere. Not sure if that's progress related or simply dynamic. Side Ops is probably your best bet - there's a whole set of missions to take out tank units. You can also find them in "Occupying Forces", "Traitors' Caravan" and "Proxy War Without End". You can also get them in "Backup, Back Down", but only if you take out the Soviet fighting vehicles before the time limit runs out (go for the APC in Yakho Oboo straight away to stand any chance of getting them all).Where do the tanks coming from ?
Also Mission 45.You can also find them in "Occupying Forces", "Traitors' Caravan" and "Proxy War Without End".
Yeah, good luck with that ... it's almost as difficult as trying to hear the full conversation in "Red Brass".Also Mission 45.

My heroism at 90k, already have more than 150 A++ and 300+ A/A+ soldiers, volunteers now are mostly A+.
Where do the tanks coming from ? 100+ I might replay old mission again
Have you checked the sick bay? Malak is my anaesthesia specialist but he was in the sick bay for ages.
I have about 82.000 heroism, and I'm 52% into the game. I do a lot of free roaming, and as such, I extract a lot of soldiers. Is it confirmed that there is a heroism cap on S rank soldiers?
That's what I meant, not side ops.You might need them for combat deployments, but you can sell them for plenty of GMP.
I get them from Occupying Forces episode. That mission can be done in 3 and a half minutes. 2 tanks and a cargo truck. Plus, with the GMP for the mission itself, it's a quarter of a million GMP each run.
Oh yeah. He's just gone. I hope there's another one in another episode, soon. Or Malak becomes higher in rank. I guess I will just do that one episode over again, even though I'm not a big fan of it. Getting Malak should take about 6-7 minutes, max.
From what a friend told me, yes. He's a huge nerd who loves to crunch numbers, so I believe him. Seems to make sense. No way to confirm it, though.
I'm only 12% done, have 240k heroism, and all struts of MB are currently in the mid to high 30's and four are 4/4 while three are 3/4. All I get are A++ for my max rated soldier.
That's what I meant, not side ops.
200k is the maximum you can have in resources (fuel, minor metal, etc.)
I've noticed the GMP value of the episodes resets itself. Nice.
What do I need to do to unlock the CGM 25 missile launcher? I have enough R&D but says I need to make 3 first. But, 4 is the very first one!
That's all that is needed to make it and I have all of it.
- 420,000 GMP
- 36 R&D
- 31 Medical
- Golden Crescent x200
- Digitalis (Purpurea)
Really like the Stun Assault Rifle. Too bad it takes a long while to get a suppressor and need a Suppressor Specialist to make it.
I just found it in the development screen and made it. Have you checked the development tree? You might need something else first. Alternatively, try "Backup, Back Down" - there's a transport truck carrying a CGM-25; if you capture it and take it back to Mother Base, that might help. What do I need to do to unlock the CGM 25 missile launcher? Will try the mission My standard loadout also uses UN-ARC NL stun rifle ( no suppressor yet )
Regarding S rank soldier, I just got my 1st S rank soldier, my heroism is 90k ( got it on pitch dark mission, one of the guard at the oil field ). My MB staff levels are in 40s ( combat, R&D etc ) Recently unlocked security team, so that might have a hand.
How many times did you grind missions ?
My favorite helicopter music is Billy Idol, Rebel Yell So cool and mesmerizing to listen over and over
Other launchers should work just fine, especially if they're upgraded. If you have grenade launchers, you can double up - grenade launchers are a hip weapon, whereas missile launchers go on your back. You'll be a bit short-handed if the guards come looking for you, but a silenced Burkov tranquiliser pistol works just fine. C4, anti-tank mines an EM pulse mines also work well for immobilising the vehicles. That's the episode I want to use if for before I attack it. Bah!
That's what I use for OF episode to stop the tanks. To stop the armored vehicles in back down mission, use decoy. one should stop the vehicle, quickly fulton it as it about to stop, so the decoy stays intact for the next victim.
