Yay, DLC!
Wait a moment, where's my premium Supra that was mentioned quite some time ago?

PD logic really confuses me, first with the Barbie dress-up mode and now 2 reskinned cars added as "new content". It seems to me that PD really aren't interested in what their customers really want in any way.

I wish we just has timing to the next car and not just the leader

They should be releasing themed packs.
Not this random BS. All three cars are cool, but it's dumb how they release these random DLC's.

TCs were themed, as were the GT Academy prizes.

I think you know what he really means.
I would also like a themed pack. Anything! Hot hatches, trucks, SUVs, etc. A classic muscle car pack would be to die for.

After such a long wait this is all we get? three cars, two of which are 90% similar to cars already in the game, an overpriced SuperGt car.

PATHETIC

For me the new DLC and patch is welcomed.

People should remember that Japan recently had a huge and devastating earthquake and Tsunami.

PD relocated their entire operation to the other side of the country and many of their employees and families were relocated.

This had to have an impact on what they have given us since the original release of the game.

I think they priced GT-R like that to justify the Academy Edition.

I do agree that this DLC is sort of a rip-off. Maybe they should have a dual-tier pricing strategy -- $0.99 for entirely new cars (HSV-010), $0.49 for modified versions of existing cars (BRZ, GTR N24).

Another classic thread where people are complaining after new content and game update is announced. I'm always amazed at how much bitching some people do, and what they bitch about. I've never complained about getting new content, free or paid, it's NEW content. Yes the BRZ & 86 are almost the same car, but they are different. I don't see people complaining about the Ferrari 430 & SP1 being almost the same car.

Okay. I'm sorry, but as terrible as that event was, using it to justify the way PD does things is becoming a weak argument. Did the earthquake and tsunami prevent PD from visiting and getting data on Bathurst, Silverstone, the Hyundai Veloster and Genesis Coupe in Southern California and doing GT Academy this year? No, they didn't.

What's even more shocking is that time and time again, without fail, there are always people such as yourself complaining about the complaining.

One does not beget the other.

Wow they charge for the BRZ but wasnt the Scion free ?
Maybe it has a new body kit.Interiors are slightly different.

No it didnt stop them from doing that but it could've stopped them from doing more... Its more than justified.

Exept they drive completey diffrent , most of the Ferrari's kinda "dont" live up to there real life counter parts.
But thats for a diffrent thread.

The changes to the game are nice and the honda is a cool addition.
And im digging that GT-R.

Doubt I will buy the DLC but looking forward to the update.

If it came in a bundle with Motegi and more road cars in a couple of weeks/months/PD time units though, insta-buy!

The Nissan-PD relationship is really hurting the series. PD being forced to advertise and model almost every Nissan out there takes alot of development time they could use to add cars the fanbase wants...

No DLC so far without a Nissan...

I started to hate Nissan thanks to GT5. I will definitly never pay a single cent for any Nissan/Infinity/Renault car...

That's a little silly. Im fed up with GT-Rs too but if I could afford one I wouldn't let the excessive number in GT5 deter me.

We knew that we would get the GT-R, why is it such a big issue now that it's official? Same for the Subaru.

Maybe people thought it was a good opportunity for PD to buck the trend and release a broader variety?

Seems as though PD are sticking with its Japanese car culture roots. Hats off to them if that's what they want.

People looking for a broad spectrum of cars will simply have to look elsewhere. Simple.

It's not as if PD have a monopoly on car games.
Plenty of others out there willing to take my money.

Probably because they are not free. Even then the negativity is ridiculous. It's a GAME and this DLC is not compulsory.

Ah, the age old 'If you don't like it, don't buy it' comment. Happens every time and it's still stupid. No, I'm not going to buy any of this DLC but that doesn't mean I can't comment on it and what I think of it, just the same as those who like it and buying it are allowed to say what they think. You don't ever hear "If you like it, just buy it", do you?

Exactly.

To be perfectly honest, I think this DLC is a joke, with the exception of the HSV. But I don't go around and berate other people for wanting the GT-R and BRZ just because I don't think they're worth buying.
