Newsflash:

If you don't like B-spec you don't have to play it.
If you don't like racing suits and helmets, you don't have to equip them.

Just thought I'd spell it out for the people that can't think for themselves.

I am thinking for myself thankyou. I'm thinking that I'm rather have an A-spec seasonal. I make no apologies for missing my A-spec seasonal fix. Spa would have been nice.

I'm not quite sure how you equate thinking for yourself with letting a computer drive for you.....sort of ironic.

Im using power limited Zonda R and just starting the last lap 8 seconds ahead of second. No input from me aswell.

Actually it did let me use racing hards if I did it from the racing setup screen.

Came 2nd but don't know how close I got as I wasn't watching.

The point, when I think for myself, is why waste a seasonal on dumb B-spec?

Anyone know times?

Tokyo takes around 18 minutes so it's not that good a way of making money.

How long are Rome and High Speed?

Depends on the car, and how hard you pressure your driver. My MX5 J-limited is tuned to 165 BHP and did HSR in 7.34 minutes.

I tried a fully souped Nissan GTR to the maximum PP and came 11th with no input.

Any suggestions about what to run? It wouldn't let me use racing hards on Tokyo only sports hard...
Ferrari 330 racer does the trick quite nicely, with long turbo it's specced to 649PP. Good luck 👍

What?? I was hoping for a spa seasonal with all the tc cars!!
Dont really see the point in b spec seasonals.

First Seasonals that I will not gold :( No more B-spec for me.

Why? Aced the first and second easy, then tokyo with the zonda R , I was up against the zonda race car and took him on the final straight. Easy pickings really

Wow, this is an interesting turn of events.

However, if I can't enter this with a overtuned car so Bob can fend for himself, then I'm not even going to waste time with these.

A de-tuned Peugeot 908 is winning with ease for me at the moment.

It's the HSR one that's hard for me, my driver only got into first on the last lap.

Mini Cooper S 07 wins me HSR with no input.

Same with a TVR on Rome with no input around $340,000 in 6 minutes or so.

I think the Rome race is the best cash per minute option.

I'd just prefer it if any new content was something I could participate in rather than just observe.

Apart from remote racing, I've not touched b spec since the nurburg 24 hour and I can't say I missed it.

Why not have B-spec seasonals? I just see it as another aspect to the game, can be very tense at times, plus you can still earn cash whilst eating your dinner ;)

Tried a Capuchino(sp?) RM and it was an epic fail..8th was Bobs' best effort and at that the last couple passes was on the last lap...tried different turbos and gearing but the car apparently at 400pp is just not competitive on a fast circuit.

Why no new OCD PD? But i think this new B-Spec Seasonal is pretty cool, but PD should have released a new A-Spec Seasonal too. Ohh well, nice update.

"This is a B-Spec event for the fastest driver from your "My Drivers" list."

Not really. This is a B-Spec event for whichever B-Spec driver you've got who's only reached a level 10, 20, or 30, *NOT* your best or fastest. I don't have a single B-Spec driver that qualifies, because of my six, all are level 38 and above. Don't really feel like training up a new one just for this event.

Won the high speed ring on my second run with an infiniti g20,turbo/spoiler. Love the b-spec. Kick back, drink a beer and let someone else do the work for once. Solid payouts as well and not that many laps for a b-spec. Fast easy money really

I won the high speed ring in first run with a BMW 2002 Turbo and a level 1 driver ...

I love that car. Im definatly going to try the b-spec with that. I killed it in the nostalgia seasonal with the beamer

Horrible. B-Spec wrecks GT5 single player career for people who like to DRIVE. Now it is wrecking what scant little new driving there is to do in the seasonal updates. I wish B-Spec had never been born! It sucks!

you mean the 26 a spec seasonals that are still up plus the ones that have already been cleared off that list, and you moan about 1 b spec seasonal that you dont have to do.

Won the High Speed Ring on my first run with a Mercedes Benz 190 E 2.5 - 16 Evolution II '91 with 215 HP but idk what car to use next :indiff:

I don't know, maybe because, and this may blow some people's minds, that their could be a sizable population that actually likes B-Spec?

Why hinder them?

Besides, there's only one online B-Spec seasonal so far.

I need help with the Rome one. Can't seem to find a car that works. Suggestions?

I won the Rome event in a fully upgraded and detuned to 500pp Dome Zero Concept '78. My level 31 Bob needed prompting to pass the lead car on the 4th lap though, before going on to win. If you want an even easier time, then a Citroen Zsara Rally Car tuned to 497pp wins with no prompting whatsoever.
