Nice, 600.000 for doing totally nothing.

My bob can look forward for endless laps in the Chapparal 2J, it overtakes everyone with ease. 40.000 a minute lol!

500PP Ferrari F40 with a little added weight and reduced power. Overtook the field before the end of lap 3 whilst being guided by me, then a couple of prods in the next two laps for an easy win with a level 37 Bob.

I went with the Peugeot 206CC for the 400PP race....nearly won it on the first attempt but bob (level 34) went offroad at the hairpin and got second, he didn't do that second time around though and won by a couple seconds :D

Tried the Volvo C30 for the 500PP race....that went dismally for 11th so will pick something else next time

edit: righto, tried the 500PP with a Mazda RX8 this time and won. Also did the 650PP with that funky RWD Nissan GTR you can get from the Academy show :)

I used the Toyota 200GT '67 for the 400PP race...My top Bob is level 26 so it took a bit of prodding..won by just over 3 seconds. Haven't tried the rest yet.

Used the the 2J for the 650pp event, nearly lapped the entire field, for the 500pp event I used the "Edge" Camaro(with the sports intake maifold as the only engine mod and no weight taken off) didn't have to do much prodding.
For the 400pp event i had the most trouble tried using a detuned car to horrible results, then I tried tuning a low powered car up to the points but could only mamage 4th. finally I tried the Opel Speedster no engine mods, bought the sports hard tires because it comes with comfort hards and bought all the drivetrain mods and by the tunnel of the second lap was sitting in 4th place. Wish i would have found this car sooner to use on the first set of these, lol

It's going to depend a little on how often you can come back and start the next race. I usually run b spec when watching the tv,and only get the chance to okay everything while the adverts are on. I know you can just hit x x x o x ( or whatever) but it doesnt always work, so it's best if you can see. From that perspective 1 x the 650pp is better than 2 x the 500.

That's what I have been doing tonight - it's a good grind, easily the best CR and XP per input. I've been using the Ferrari P4, Lvl 38 Bob was a bit wild first time around (eager right foot) but I can leave him alone and he gets the job done quite happily.

for the 650pp race i did it with the R8 LMS race car, BMW Mclaren F1 GTR,
500pp i used my tunned Audi tt (did need to coach) and 400pp was succesfully with the Audi quattro (old model)

so my conclusion, just use an Audi, and everything will work out :)

Why no Spa Seasonal yet? Kinda annoying now, DLC is turning a bit useless if you don't go online :(
Agreed might not bother with the next dlc if they dont add some events, why spend the money if i can play online with it for free anyways.

Still hoping tho...

Probably because there's been 6 million copies of the game sold and only 1 million copies of the DLC. Meaning only 1 in 6 players have access to Spa offline...

Which car for the SSR5 ? i´ve tried the Toyota Ft86 concept but i only managed to get 3rd (of course i didn´t finished the race :yuck: )

I have a clio v6 500pr, 345cv and 980kg, i will try with this, i will report later

My Ft86 passed the leader (NSX) on the last straight to take the win.

Finished the event with an NSX '91 in the 1st race, a Ferrari 512BB in the 2nd, and the new GT-R Stealth for Indy. My Bob was only level 24 for the Indy race, but he did pretty well. Then I put him in a Zonda R and he destroyed the Zonda LM to win.

Shelby Supercharged has been my 500pp car to grind those races both the old and the new. My bob wins every time unassisted if the NSX isnt in it and wins 75% of the time when the NSX is...

I already have made 6 million out of the 650 pp race, hail PD!

Note: The fully tuned 2J can only win without assistence if there's not a F1 McLaren in the field (did not try the other 2J)

've only done the 400pp race so far. Won it with the 99 FPO Type R on CS. Didn't notice the SH tire limit.

You can use the BB for the 400pp and 500pp. I was hoping that fully tuned, it might at least make up a few places in the 650, but alas, you can only get to 584, meaning it just ambles about at the back.

I've done the 650PP race three times so far and have not had the honour of racing (and, most likely, getting thrashed by) the Macca. First two times I went with the Panoz (2nd and 3rd...lost out to the Ford GT both times), then the RWD GTR from the Academy which passed the Zonda going into the final lap.

Excellent point- well made (thumbs up)

I had the 2J come up as the number one contender twice now. It blows, can't catch him at all it seems. Zonda R with some good management might be able to pull it off.

Whenever the 2J comes up, I just start a new game. I hate that 'washing machine'. Funny thing, you can beat it in A-spec all the time, but in B-spec, Bob just can't seem to deal with it, tho my Bobs are only level 25.

Here's what I used:
400 - Dome Zero
500 - NSX Type R '02 (from Honda dealership - bought HP up to 370+ (503PP), added weight, easily takes 1st place by lap 2/3)
650 - Mazda Furai - easily wins, faced the Zonda (1st place car) by lap 5/6, Zonda kept close for 1/2 laps because my Bob was at half strength by then, sliding on turns, eventually smoking it on the straights, lapped the other cars by lap 9

The question is: is there any car that can do it against the F1 McLaren without assistance?

I don't know. If I could put more gears in the 2J and it would have more speed on the straights, it would. Sadly though, I can't, and the car sucks itself on the ground and only dominates in the corners.

1 thing i dont like about bspec is that is very easy for bob spin all the time exiting from a corner with a RD car, when i put it on a 4x4 car bob is very fine. tried the same 500pp event with an subaru wrx sedan (the premium one) which is 4x4, and bob was leading at the end of the 2º lap.... for example, my level 30 bob cant drive the Toyota 7 race car, but my level 21 bob can do it without problem, i dont know why, i have to learn more hehehe

I won the Indy with the stealth Audi R10 with 200KG more and limit the power to meet 650pp. Only lost to the BMW McLaren F1 GTR.

400 PP - FT86 Concept (74.3% Engine Power)
500 PP - Elise RM '96 (ZedTunes setup)
650 PP - Borrowed a friend 2J

Be aware of the Bob's personality when you choose them. Bob's with Hot personality will make more errors even in high levels. Once you input speed on hot Bob's (LOL), they will make many errors like spining alot with bad tires. Besides that, you must look for characteristics as Breaking, Cornering and Accuracy. So, when you create a new Bob you must try to choose different characteristics from others you already have. This way you can choose a different Bob when you have to run in a track with certain characteristics.

For example, when you race in a technical track like Côte d'Azur, your Bob must have high Breaking, Cornering and Accuracy. Meanwhile, if you have to race highspeed tracks, try to use Bobs with high Strength and Mental Strength.

A little resume (from here):

"Braking: In arcade racing games you might hardly touch the brake, but in GT5 the braking skill is very important for Bob. If Bob doesn't know how to brake properly, he'll enter a turn too fast and will spin out even if his Cornering stat is high. A good Braking skill also ensures that Bob controls his slow-down enough that he's not overdoing it and leaving the corner slower then he needs to.

Cornering: Cornering and Braking go hand in hand. Spinning out is never a good thing, but if Bob takes a turn too sharply it will happen every time, costing you valuable seconds getting your car stabilized or back on the track. The higher your Cornering skill, the faster Bob can take corners and improve his Driving Line throughout the course.

Accuracy: Accuracy is your ability to stay on target. While Cornering will determine how fast you can take a corner, your Accuracy stat will determine how well you are following your Driving Line. Just because Bob can take a corner a little wide doesn't mean you want him to. This stat also determines Bob's ability to navigate between cars for passing.
Stats That Change During a Race

Strength: Strength determines just how long Bob can drive. During the race you will see Bob's Strength stat constantly going down. Driver CreationThe higher the Strength stat, the less likely Bob is to make mistakes. Strength is also a skill that will decrease near the end of your racer’s career. Once you see Bob's strength stat being grayed out, you'll know that you'll need to start training a new Bob or two.

Mental Strength: Mental Strength is how tough Bob is mentally. Things like being stuck in a certain position for a long period, being lapped, getting into a crash, and how low your physical strength is getting all have an effect on your Mental Strength. I've found however that the largest factor is how low your Strength is getting during the race. The lower your Mental Strength, the more likely you are to make mistakes like bumping into other drivers or spinning out in turns.

Personality: The Personality trait determines how Bob acts while behind the wheel. A Bob that’s very Cool will not be bothered as much by changing conditions and will slowly determine the best thing to do. A very Hot Bob will, in contrast, make more snap decisions and fly by the seat of his pants. How this plays out during the race is that the hotter Bob's personality, the more rapidly his pace changes during the race, whether he's affected by how close cars are to him, or to the commands to increase or lower the pace you give him. If you like to have a Hot driver, you might want to focus on the Accuracy skill as he'll want to pass often, and you might consider Cornering as your high stat if your Bob is Cool.

Experience: While not a stat you can change, Experience is very important. When starting out, Bob doesn't really know what he's doing. He doesn't know the tracks, he isn't used to the cars, and he's not used to passing other drivers. As you drive more cars, drive the tracks, and get used to racing overall, your experience will go up. Bob will take corners better, be more accurate in his driving line, and know when to pass others."
