Amo has been absolutely dominating the TTs in the last month or 2 but Ti-Tech seems to have gotten up to speed quickly enough, it will be interesting to see what happens in GT Academy. I can't have a serious attempt at the current TTs because I'm grinding my way through the nurburgring 24 hour race 
, I'm average around those TT tracks anyway so at least I'm not missing much.

I had 30 minutes spare time and just tried to get used to the car again, one thing i noticed is the car have a better turn-in without the active steering... i dont know why i used this! 
I hope to have some more time for it, managed to shave some tenths in the first 2 sectors (around 0.400) but 30 minutes was just too short time to do anything, at the pace the guys ahead are running... lol

I finally got the oil light on in my 2J. It took 3 9-hr Tsukubas and 3 4-hr Nurbs. Sometime Monday I'm going to have to find out if I can improve from 153rd.
I'm also going to experiment with turning AS off. I haven't noticed much of a difference myself, but you've got me wondering, Mike

Luck isn't needed if one has skill
. Which he does.. That being said this is without a doubt the TT I've put the most effort into, I broke the top 250 only to be knocked just outside of it, which I'm beyond happy with, and considering quite a lot of people run the TT's, finishing just outside the top 250 is a great achievement for me personally.

This lap I was 0.8 off in the first half of the track.
Darn. You got me by about .2. Just today I managed to get 6'12.504. (#135) It is messy at some places. So, I think there might be about 1s in there. But, don't have time. So, this is it for me. This TT has been real fun

Took 9/10's off my time and jumped 30 spots into the top 150 now ... aiming for the top 100 but running out of time. This is the best TT so far.

I was ahead of Ti-tech in that event,
my guess is he did 3 laps and called it a day(he didnt make an effort)
Ti-Tech also golded the sebastian vettel challenge with a DS3 on low battery
and only a functional 'X' button and d-pad 'left' (think Zoolander.. )

Tried a couple of laps with the 2J again earlier today after a 4 day break and I have lost it completely haha 
just a bit too much effort required for this epic combo and i have put in too many laps already methinks! It was a great seasonal with some mindblowing laptimes from all corners of the globe
Well done for a great showing on the King of all race tracks 👍
Looking forward to some nice battles in the early weeks of GT Academy 2012... Good Luck to all here who plan on taking part

Sorry for asking, do you think it would be possible for me to borrow your 2J for a little session or 2? 💡 I'd like to give it a try with the dirty oil, havent been able to run again today, but tomorow i should have about 2 hours free to play GT5. Doesnt mean i'll be able to improve but worth a try.

Personally ... I'm a bit tired of seeing that same old 2J car beat the board every time we have a 600PP event. It's a tiny little car but hey ...
Anyway.
I used the Nissan CALSONIC SKYLINE GT-R Race Car '93 to beat the event as it is 1 of the cars that has decent handling but actually I produce worse times in this car than for example with a other cars from that class ... Don't ask why I took this car for the event ... it's complicated. Some changes to the gears and HP to match the PP and stock brakes/suspension, etc. So ... I was surprised to see that I actually was able to produce 4 consecutive clean laps with my best time just under 7 minutes with some small errors here and there.
I was so perplexed to how I was able to produce consistent times, after all people so far complained of red laps, that I tried the Nissan FALKEN☆GT-R Race Car '04 next. That car is quicker and the result was 6:55 after just 2 laps.
My point? Use other car than that 2J. I have it and I'm not even bothered trying with it ...

Sorry Mike, I still don't have a 2J with dead oil, I gave up after running 3 enduro's and it still wasn't red... I have been borrowing UsualSuspects 2J when I have had the chance! Thanks again to him for the borrow there

Most of the entrants will have run lots of cars in all fairness! but unfortunately as soon as you do decide to run a lap in the 2J the only car people will see you used on the leaderboard is the 2J!
I have run about 5 different cars on this combo... RX7 LM Race car, Nissan GTR TC, Minolta, and the RCP and the 2J killed them all and it looks on the leaderboard like it's the only car I tried, pretty much the same case with most guys
The car is just leaps ahead of all other cars in that PP range simple as that and if you really want to go for a top 100 finish, there is probably only the 2J that can achieve that now in this late stage 👍
