I have a very funny feeling you will be busy after Monaco kk,

Remember the glitch lads, staying out the barriers is your number one aim đź‘Ť

Be patient! Monaco is a hard track to overtake on, pick your passes carefully.

Good luck in the race tommorow guys :)

Sorry to hear that mate, hope all is well.

Kk, the race was good mate, I was out on my own for most of it so I don't really know what happened behind or ahead of me

I know Sicwhitt got glitched & Seb made an unexpected but welcome return :)

GTP_Toffe was the winner đź‘Ť

Jonzster is now the GTRacingCircuit World Champion :) đź‘Ť

Don't know if there was any incidents but when I know, you will know :)

Here's my race report:

I noticed there were quite a few people driving "alone" on the track map, but I certainly had a very exciting race! After practicing with jonzster and Steg on Tuesday I though I had no change in the race today... At the end of that practice session jonzster was lapping 0,5-1 second/lap faster than my best lap...:scared: So for the race I thought it was gonna be a race in the traffic for me this time.

However, surprisingly I ended up 2nd on the grid after Sicwhitt. We had a nice battle in the first laps đź‘Ť. Sicwhitt was fast in those first laps. I eventually managed to overtake him into the first corner on the inside though and I tried to pull a lead. I saw that he got the glitch later :(

R35 was beginning to catch up, my lead began to shrink and I began to grow a little nervous... :scared: In addition my tyres were more worn than I expected. However, it seemed jonzster caught up with R35 and they had a battle so I managed to maintain my lead until lap 13 when I had decided to pit. (With so many accelerating-from-slow-corners in Monaco, there was no way I was gonna try to stay out on the same set the whole race...).

After the pitstop I don't know what happened... I just got on fire. I had 22 seconds to catch so I had to catch about 2 seconds per lap so I thought if I push like crazy it might work. The lighter car, fresh tyres and no need to watch my back made wonders... I did some laps that were faster by over a second compared to my best laps I had set in my own practices... Still not as fast R35's and jonzster's best laps though I think, but enough to catch them a few laps later on lap 20 or so. When I caught them they were still battling... (They must have had an intense fight...)

I tried to pass jonzster in the tunnel, he went out to block, I tried to go on the outside and had higher speed, he then drifted outwards (because the worn tyres I guess) towards me but nothing happened because his car ghosted. If it had not ghosted we would have bumped into each other so I thought that maybe I should have backed off there perhaps, so to be on the safe side I slowed down into the nouvelle chicane and let him pass me. However I eventually overtook jonzster and R35 (their tyres must have been really worn at this stage!).

Phew.. long report. As said, I had a very nice race at least. My goal now is to overtake R35 in the standings and try to make the Green Team win the Team championship together with Barn. :) (Btw, why hasn't the Team championship table been updated..?)

Great report toffe, well done again bud đź‘Ť

Team table hasn't been updated simply because of the number of drivers showing or not showing over the last couple weeks.

We are backtracking and checking all the results again and we will have a finished team table for the end of the season ;)

My race report:

Qualified 4th, though I seemed to have the quickest time :P Is it just me or has qualifying not worked properly ever since it seemed wrong at the Nurburgring GP/F race?

Went conservative on the race start because I knew it would get tight into the first corner, consequently got overtaken by R35 with a nice move and then had Seb along side me up the hill with him overtaking up the inside when I got wide at the next corner.

Then had Steg right behind me just before the hairpin, made a good pass squeezing by at the very tight hairpin bend.
Haigis and I then briefly swapped places just after the tunnel coming out of the chicane before I regained 7th and went after Steg, who as always is very fair and left room for us both side by side up the hill with me overtaking just before Casino.

Saw the leading pack not to far in front of me, Seb was in fifth, I managed to catch up to him on lap 3 and make a pass. Next up was GrayFox who I caught up to on lap 4 - cleaner racer, gave plenty of room for us both through Mirabeau with me edging ahead up to 4th.

Saw R35 and Sic off in the distance but couldn't catch them untill lap 8 and just managed to pass Sic when he got wide at the top of the hill into the left hander.

After that it was an epic battle with R35, with us catching up to Toffe on lap 11 or 12 untill Toffe pitted lap 12 I think and R35 and I carried on.
R35 drove really well and made his car as wide as possible, I just could not get by on his circuit.

In hindsight I should have pitted the lap after Toffe pitted, in the end he was catching us by 3-4 secs a lap, drove a brilliant race and throughly deserves the race victory. Congrats mate đź‘Ť and sorry about the tunnel incident,I did run wide there partly tyres and part due to looking backwards to see where you were
Apologies to R35 to for running a bit to close at times and bumping him (it weren't all my fault though :P)

Great race again, pitty we were down on numbers. Sorry to hear jack couldn't make it and also Sic getting glitched, think Barn_One also had some problems with his connection which was a shame. Good racing with new guy GrayFox and also great to see Seb back again, stick around for the Ring buddy and close the season out on a good one :)

Thanks for your kind words :) I didn't think pitting at lap 12 (I wrote 13 in my report but you're right, it was lap 12) would make such a big difference but it did. And I also agree with you about the qualifying, it feels like it has somehow become messed up after Nurburgring, but I have absolutely no idea why... My best qualifying lap was 1'34.7xx, which was about as fast I had managed in the practice sessions, so I expected to start perhaps 4th or 5th.

Looking forward to the your F1 like race replay :sly: And I also look forward to the next race, it's gonna be great! And congrats to you becoming GTRacingCircuit World Champion jonzster, well done:tup:

Cheers Toffe đź‘Ť Also looking forward to the next race, we still have the team championship up for grabs. I had a quick tot up of the points, think we are only seperated by 1 point! Stealth = 187 Green = 188 :scared:

PS. working on the replay ;)

Thank you kk, like wise my friend đź‘Ť

Here's part 1 - Monaco

Thanks! Cool google earth intro and well edited đź‘Ť This race was certainly eventful. In the video one can see that I have a high ride height... I went for a super soft suspension setting.. so to avoid the car bottoming out and becoming nervous over the curbs, I raised the ridge height a lot. Looking forward to part 2.

Only 1 point separates Stealth and Green?! Whoa! :scared: Seems everything will be decided on NĂĽrburgring then... and I guess changing weather will be on too for that, talk about exciting! :) I'm hoping for some heavy rain xD :D

Awesome Video!! The google earth is the icing on the cake...

1:22?

I like it :D although I likes better when the cool bit of the music started as you went through the grid :P

Good to have you back R35,

Jonzster superb video again mate đź‘Ť

KK- 1:22 ? that better not be a dig at me  I stayed as tight as I could :)

Toffe, there will be no rain as it is the Nordschliefe circuit not the 24hr.

I guess we could stick on time change though if you guys are up for that ?

Neither am I in all honesty

You guys going to get F1 2011 ?

Considering getting an F1 season on the go a couple months after it's out :)

I strongly advise you dont do that...The dirt roads absolutely kill the Force Feedback motor...I never drive on dirt with my g27...
