Interesting race, very interesting choice of car.

I may have to use "silver" from our "Forgotten cars showdown" on a side run to see if she's worthy.

ok, i know ive been outta the loop for awhile, and ive only raced this twice so far...but is this race even possible to win? the car is grossly underpowered compared to the rest, and while it may outhandle them, it falls flat on its face whenever you hit any kinda straightaway, and the fact that you have to pit twice puts you at least 30 seconds behind the leader since none of the cars ever pit at all....as soon as you start to gain ANY kind of a lead you have to pit again and throw it all away. i know that since nobody pits they drive pretty crappy at the end, but all the bald tires in the world cant give you a lead back in 5 laps

arg...been a while since ive actually been frustrated w/ this game. just call me the noob

You're just "Rusty" 👍 In probably 10 tests I only failed to best them twice, although my "M.O.V." has never been by much. Of course that's how I "Try" to set up all my races. "slowpoke" will probably come along & blow my time outta the water like he always does!!! Check your "PM" Box for the time it normally takes to beat 'em! ...UB57

one question i have. i know its alright if the ai turns into you when youre getting thru a turn, but is blocking the ai allowed? like if one is trying to make a run on me, and i just kinda casually get in his way so he bumps into the back of me?

IF you're in Front the "Line" is YOURS!!! It's up to the "AI" to deal with it. Oddly enough on this track I've seen them occasionally go "Around." Rare, but I have seen it. To directly answer your question, YES it's OK if they bump you in the rear or anywhere else. 👍 ...UB57

Two runs thus far:
MOL 45-48 seconds.
My overall times have been within 0.75 seconds of each other.
My best lap has been 1:21.1XX. But I'm averaging around 1'24.
I've been as high as second place. The "Satan" stiped car has been just too fast.
The "Flying Door Stops" get stupid right where you said they would.
And the "Brick Bully Boys" are only in this to block the entire track when you get close to them.
Bob you have conceived a very challenging one yet again.
Once, I get a set-up that keeps the "Frisbee's" butt in check, I may be able to lay down some consistent laps.

I just had "my race"! 2 slight AI touches on the opening lap, in first place before L1/T2, came out of both pit stops STILL in first place, and never touched a wall til lap 13!!










and on lap 15



MOV was still around 22 seconds. Saved the replay to remind myself of the one that got away! Majority of the flying laps were in the mid 18's, one second slower than in Free Run. I've been running the front downforce at 95 to prolong the tire life, but they ain't too bad after 5 laps. Gonna try it at full front DF.

Gonna spend some time this weekend I-linking at GT3mich's place with some new friends, I doubt I'll have any time for this race til Sunday pm at the earliest.

Okay guys, I'm finishing on the samesecond with each run.
My MOL has varied from 37 seconds to as much as 45 seconds.
It matters not which group of opposition I run with.
But in my last run I spent several laps in first place. A lead which went away right after I pitted.
On the positive side my splits are coming down and becoming more consistent.

I'll be running this one just as soon as I get back from Seattle! Incidentally, I can see the start/finish line for the GT3 course from my room on the 33rd floor of the Crowne Plaza downtown! Pretty cool....looking forward to seeing The Colliseum flashing by more though!!!

Boy am I GREEN with ENVY!!! Have only "i-Linked" once at the MLG deal in Dallas & it's REALLY Great!!! Nothing like racing against other Humans instead if the "AI", I'm sure you'll enjoy it! 👍 ...UB57

Secret settings who keeps the secret car far away from every wall.

Don't I WISH the "AI" didn't drive like Idiots & we could actually USE Laguna Seca!!! The only Track in GT3 I've had the pleasure of motoring around in REAL LIFE!

My use of the slang "Corker" just means it's a Good One!!! 👍

I've found a new & relatively simple way to "Even Out" the competition, just hope it works as well for everyone else as it has in testing! ...UB57

It's fun and different than a best lap. Did a few lap setting up the car, and then did the race 2 times. It's not that easy, first race i touch the wall at least each lap.
second race touch it a few, but not in the rules yet.

Best lap, 1.19.799. I don't know if i will beat those ****ers AI

MOV is Margin Of Victory, I've heard. Personally I only operate with MOL.

Made a clean one and made a submission. Lapping in the 1'24's.

@ beru: M.O.L. = Margin Of Loss. Not every entrant will beat all the "AI" but quite often those who don't actually have the most fun as they stay "In Traffic" more which is my ultimate goal! 👍

And I finished in 4th, well ahead of the "Brick Brothers".
