For the level of BS PD receive, they still respect their fans and customers. DLC and career expansion, feature updates, undoubted server and bug fixes, with tracks coming later too, all for free! And people are still complaining?

With everything happening with EA and loot boxes, I couldn’t be more grateful for PD.

So why on every FIA race it's messed up and cars rubber banding and crash into you like the used to on project cars
Network play. It's the same everywhere - any network play is only as strong as its weakest link - and nothing to do with whether it's P2P or dedicated servers.

Or this update, for that matter.

I've been curious since launch with the game being more set up for the racing and at least, for now, gr3 and gr4 if some of these cars will have racing counterparts as well.

I've had high expectations from the start of this game in terms of DLC and I'm doubting it'll be a letdown. Thanks PD

Glad to see the F-150 Raptor and R32 GT-R, to be implemented in GT Sport.

But, until I see a Fairlady Z (Stock, not Chris Forsburg’s Z34 nor Sung Kang’s FuguZ S30; even though, they’re cool.) or a BRZ in the game, I’m still not getting GT Sport.

What? No, they gave you a competitive online racing mode that is unlike anything else on the console market. They totally turned the whole thing on it's head. A bunch of people didn't like it and wanted the old career mode back despite it being tired and generic. So they gave it to them.

You keep talking about fresh innovation but not even you can specifically describe a way to innovate the tired campaign model that all racing games have milked to death. You wanted more offline content.. bam, you got it. Besides, the innovative mission design wouldn't be apparent in the UI anyways. The actual individual missions structures and the tone they set will be what makes or brakes the new campaign.

Yes, I'm aware of what the core of GTS is, that's why I didn't buy it and don't post here any more. I appreciate they took the game in a new direction, but it wasn't for me. Which is fine.

But look back at my old posts and you'll see what I wanted and hoped for. I don't care what "a bunch of people" wanted. I didn't want the old career mode back, I wanted something new and interesting.

Am I a game designer? No. It's not my job to innovate and post ideas. I could give you some but what is the point, I'm not PD, I'm not making the game. I play most racing games, across several iterations of the same series. They don't all use the same exact setup through each game. They come up with new ideas. Some are more sandbox, some follow the zero to hero career like a real racing driver. They have different ways to progress, signing contracts for teams or being your own driver and so on.

PD have just taken the GT1-6 format, copied and pasted with the same events, same "pick an event, enter, pick the next one" structure. It's tired, and dated, and like I say, stinks of a quick fix. Not what I wanted.

Not even remotely close to what I said.

You do realise that a PR driven damage limitations action can still be a good thing!
I think it's pretty hard to argue that this is not a reaction to the negative press the game has received across the internet since release. There is no way they would have kept quiet about this if it was definitely going to be in the game. Nothing wrong with a dev realising they got it wrong and trying to fix it.

That's the whole point of my reply. It was being talked, not by you necessarily, like that was a bad thing.
Then why quote me?

If you feel someone is presenting it as a negative (which they are perfectly entitled to do so) I would suggest you quote them.

Rather than assigning the views of others to me, otherwise you run the risk of it looking like you are attempting to make out someone hold a position they don't.

Yeah, and my point is that you haven't played this new GT League mode and are assuming what it is and isn't. You really have no clue what you're talking about.

Secondly, it's automobile racing. Racing has been racing since 1895, there's not much innovation on the concept of a race. Sure they could make a bunch of gimmick Samba demo derby courses or Subie Stunt Jump challenges or copy whatever dumb gimmick that Forza squatted out, but at the end of the day the game still needs to be about racing.

I quoted you because you were the last to mention that subject, and i was talking about that said subject in general, and not your personal view of it, it isn't that serious.
