thats how/why i now have two toyoto 88C-Vs. Won one as a gift car for completing whatever series. Driven to death by my bobs. Now with a turbo and an ifinite amount of engine overhauls it only has 1015hp. as opposed to the 1040 it's suppost to have.
after the 1.06 update i just happen to find an 88C-V with 126kms in my UCD. pure luck. no skill, no magic, no trick, nothing. i didnt even earn it. "bought it for free"
. that car had never come up in the UCD according to the hard work of some of the members on these forums; in over 2000 game days. i earned it about as much as i earned my four Ferrari F1 cars.i'm not a doctor and i dont know what the requirements for becoming a dutch doctor are, but "seek help" and "taking a step back" seem like sound advice to anybody being hurt by GT5.

This is something I've been saying more than once but:
You'll have to race hundreds of times to buy one of the most expensive cars in the game. Acquiring a huge variety of cars, though, that's not something very expensive to do.
Traded? No, actually, I didn't. I lended a few cars to my girlfriend, which I can't get back now, that's it. I probably wouldn't have demanded them back either way, though
And what I personally wanted? PD to act against duping. Don't care how they do it, actually.
So again does setting this trade limit up make it impossible to dupe?? I dont know since i never did but i think no, it keeps u sending cars from a value of 1000000+ to someone else.
And as stated in my other post here gifting always is a kind of a trade. Always been always will. U give something and will get something in return in your case you made your girlfriend hapoy by beein kind to her and you may nit get a digital car in return but certanly something more valuable, u have the feeling of doing the right thing and her beein gratefull and do what ever.... For you.

This is a targetted package specifically designed to harm those duping as much as possible. You can still do it, but you can only do it with cars worth less than a million and their hope is that people will consider the hassle of restarting their machines and backing up data as not worth the reward.

It is just amazing how clueless PD are.
First, they don't know the ABCD of public relations. They refuse to communicate about the game before its release and whenever they do, its usually lies or misinformation.
Second, when they do listen to their customers, they choose to listen to the ones who make the most noise, whine, cry, flail their hands about etc. So the elitist population on this website cried about too much money in seasonals. So, the logical conclusion from PD (lol) was to make seasonals grindable. (lolwut)
So then the elitist population on this website cried about people duping cars knowing full well, no one gets an advantage in a race where restrictions are present. So the logical conclusion from PD (lol logic from PD) was to remove gifting partially.
Elitists like the people on this website will be the death of this franchise. When they're not licking Yamauchi's and PD's ass, they're busy lording over other people on how to play the game.
I've recently been lurking over at the killzone boards gauging how the game is, and the place is a cluster ****. I guarantee the posters there will destroy the game if Guerilla Games listen to their whining. (Then again, thats exactly what they did with KZ2). This forum is no different, except it looks cleaner because of the mods.
Also it doesn't help PD really don't know who to listen to and what decisions to actually take. They look like deer caught in headlights. Quite ironic isn't it?
In any case, I already have all 1 million + cars in the game. Just got the F2007 gifted to me last night to complete the collection.

I can understand why are some "hurted" with this, but there are MANY tools for getting the money now regular ways:
- driving high-league A-Spec races
- driving high-league B-Spec races
- driving Bonus Races in Seasonal Events
- extra races in Seasonal Events
- Remote B-Spec
Combining all above can harvest you great amount of money on the daily and weekly bases.
On day you drive all Bonus Event races you can earn approx. 2.000.000 on one stint, all 5 F1 races will net you another 900.000 per 1-turn, if your friends use your B-Spec drivers you can collect additional 500.000 for 5 driver for example per day, you B-Spec driver can earn you 500.000 in no time, while driving 3 laps of Nurburgring (3X Schwatrzwald League) nets you for additional 300.000.
It is 2.2 million credits PER DAY without Bonus races, while new Bonus Races (one time prize) gives you 4.5 million for that day in total.

You mean the easier way cause really looking for dupers and multiple accounts then proceeding to bans.... Would cost maybe not so much to Pd but playstation a lot of customer loss, and the bad publicity draw a lot of new customers to the direct concurrent Xbox and forza. which playstation cant afford to have happen. That is why they come up with cheezy half way measures.
Lets face it, PD was lucky to bring a race game where u could have the "accesible road cars" and race them on tracks (GT1) than made some improvement until they got stuck cause no new (good ones) ideas and laye around lazy on their previous exploits. Honestly alone the time needed for this merly finished game is....... And i really think that they aint really a decent company but a bunch that had a verr lucky (good) first game with a nice new idea but havent learned anything new since.

Trading the car between different accounts is part of the duping process (I think), so that's how it works.
And I can't do the same with a sub 1 million credit car?
That's more than enough to help someone who's just getting started out, but it will have a decent effect on the duplication of stuff like Formula cars, LMPs and the like.I guess it's not as much about acquiring the money; the way I see it, people are upset because of two things:
They want everything at once.
They have to play by the rules and they don't like playing by the rules if the rules prohibit them from getting everything at once.

Looks like I'll never get that cranberry X2010 now. I'll never make it to level 40 without a save button in the endurances (thanks, elitist pigs, for convincing PD not to give us this sensible option) and without trading I'm SOL.
Time to start looking out for other, better, driving games.

What was the purpose of your great intervention big Jedi? Not enough Mitochlorans in your body? I can "grind" some for you, I have no problem in fighting Imperial forces instead of just pretending to fight them while trading LightSabers at Tatooine markets.

I voted for like, but ultimately the problem isnt with trading itself, its with duping. If they could prevent duping I'd be happy for people to trade cars etc despite the fact I have never sent or received any cars and have no plans to either. I resent the fact that there are a million x1's out there when I have earned the two I have the hard way. The x1 was meant to be a milestone in the game, something to aspire to get, something that was earned from hours and hours of gameplay. Duping pretty much killed off any prestige the game had. I only wish they had done this sooner tbh if this is the only feasible way to prevent cheating.
