What about the huuuugggeeee penis that Ferrari took a pic of one of their cars in front of. Think they put that kind of grafitti in?

I know you guys are joking but I'm not referring to the graffiti at the ring. More along the lines of;

Some thing like the new kerbing at the ford chicane at LeMans, or the new barriers at tete rouge.

You know, just basic things like that, but still major enough to affect your laptimes.

I knew what you were getting at mate, and that is legitimately a good idea. For example Mt Panorama got resurfaced this year so has much more grip.

I wonder if they'll ever have Track updating.

Example, say Laguna seca in real life gets new curbing and gets new asphalt on the track surface in real life, then SMS releases a little update to add that to the game. Thats just me though, what do you guys think?

It depends how beneficial it is. People aren't going to want to keep downloading 150Mb or so of track data just for one minor change to a track. You can't just send out one little section of track in an update, you have to get the whole new layout again. A substantial change however and it might be worth it.

I wonder if SMS goes on the GT Planet forums and reads up on what we say every now and then
They do, as Haitch40 says. GTP is one of the more relevant forums in this respect, for WMD devs and members; there is great diversity with gamers/simmers of all backgrounds, the discussions are reasoned, the critique and questions are useful, the praise is inspiring. So cheers indeed

Yeah I see where you're coming from. However, I was talking (well, in my mind atleast) to wait for a collection of multiple real life track changes over a course of several months. Then release it in a single update. Say every 6 months or so. Instead of having 1 update for every track change..

This is excatly why I believe Project CARS will live up to the hype, and will be the new king of the sim racing market.

I also "liked" it because Ferrari.

Oh yeah, one question to those who're involded with pCARS's development. Is Project CARS going to be called "C.A.R.S." or is it going to remain as "Project CARS"? Please reply. :)

To be honest when I first herd the name "Project CARS" I couldn't take it seriously.. (Until I saw gameplay of course). So in a way, I'm kind of hoping for a title change, but then at the same time I'm hoping not because that'll just cause mass confusion.

True. Like how that movie named "Cars" has the name already, it's better to keep this one as "Project CARS" indeed.

The dots were removed a while ago, Projects CARS is the final name. There was discussion on a new name but it was decided not to because everyone already knew it by that name.

Cant wait to see and hear more about the career mode.

They never mention the Xbox One, looks like the PS4 is their preffered next gen console.

The daily build notes have entries for Xbox One, it is moving along as is the PC and PS4.

Just for the sake of completeness, quoting Andy Tudor from the public announcement thread at WMD when he posted about the fantastic E3 @ Sony booth news:

And keep an eye out all next week for more announcements and content!

Woo hoo, cant wait! Though I might miss a part of it by being at Le Mans... and probably drunk! :D
