Yes and ps4 players get commands from the pit engineer via the dualshock speakers, instead.

I hate the speakers on ds4 it's so tacky and they get annoying wish there was a feature to turn it off. Going to preorder the limited edition tomorrow since they still have them available :D.

Yeah im not a fan of the speaker either, My centre speaker of my sound setup cost £250 i want sound through that not a 50p speaker :banghead:

So, what does this mean for the total amount of cars in multiplayer, 16 players + 45 AI? 61? Or would the max still be 45 overall?
I thought the max for online was 16?
As far as i am aware they have not announced the maximum number of multiplayer opponents as this will depend on optimisation.
however the way it works on the lobby creator is this:
you can set the max number of players in a lobby as well as the grid size.
you can then set it to fill the empty spaces with Ai.
you then have a number of ai options such as difficulty and car choice.
The ai can act as filler to your maximum grid size.

The 16 car limit is in reference to vehicle models.

So would it be possible to have a grid made up of 16 players and 16 ai?

It says car on track doesn't mention car models on track.

The filler AI is going to be great to create multiclass races, especially if they're in a different class from other players... :D

You can access the Playstation Store in the browser on your PC. So as soon as pCARS is available on PS Store, you can buy it, whether you own a PS4 or not.

I'm not sure about the modified car pack though, IIRC you only get it if you preorder from certain places. Don't know if PS Store is one of those certain places.

Perfect, thanks. I'll keep looking in the ps store (not there yet) hope it's one of those that installs automatically and is available to play right away.

Sorry i didn't realise they had announced it i find it surprisingly low. I suspect it has something to do with servers and stability for consoles.

U I don't think people are understanding the online options. You can have a maximum of 16 players online, which can be made up of up to fifteen ai drivers. You can set a maximum number of ai drivers, let's say eight. You would then need eight human drivers to fill the lobby. As more human players come in, the AI drivers are removed, and then are placed back in as people leave the lobby. The lobby host does not need to keep going into the lobby settings to increase the AI drivers. You can still race with four human drivers, but the number of contestants would be twelve.

It's just a few days and it fits nicely into a 'useful' release slot. - Ian Bell

If it's any consolation, I'm annoyed as well, but grumbling here is not going to make any difference. If anything, it gives the devs a bit more time to get more content into the game, licenses confirmed, etc. At least it's only a small delay this time.

Why?????? Just why. I'm tired of these delays, just release a first month patch, not delay the game.

I feel like a dog with a master showing me a treat and it nearly getting to my mouth and then then the master snatches it back  for 3 monthd and now 2 more weeks will the "treat" be shown again.
