Hmm, if they do not show up under their corresponding manufacturer i would first close the game completely, then uninstall the DLC Pack, start PCars again, exit, reinstall DLC Packs, start PCars again.
 
Apologies if this has already been answered. How do I know what cars have new liveries,as included in the Community Livery Pack#1?
I have seen this question asked both here and the official pCARS forum but have yet to see an answer (Or maybe just missed it).
I am aware of the Deadmau5 Bac Mono and the Sauber @FLX1981 but am curious to know of the others.

I'm curious to see how much attention they are going to give to the game after release, I know they already have the DLC planed.

But even before the release I was reading the news about PCARS 2 being confirmed. I was hoping SMS could keep this game alive for at least 2 or 3 years, but for a relatively small studio, it's unlikely for them to support this game and work in the next simultaneously after the DLC schedule is complete.

SMS have been quite vocal about this game being supported for at least the next couple of years.

Anyone know how to use the controller for menus and wheel for racing? Because I can't figure it out. Our seems to be one or the other. And My T300 locks to 90 degrees during the starts of some races, unplugging at the console and replugging fixes it but it's still deeply annoying. Other than these annoyances I'm enjoying it.

I've had that wheel bug a couple of times. not for a few days though but it's been reported on here so hopefully SMS have it on their list.

Just wondering, I set a time on one of the community challenges but every time I select 'find me' it says I don't have a time on the leaderboard?

Do the leaderboards only show a certain amount of times(such as top 250)?

I m currently 2945th in the Event with the M1 at Monza, limit is 3000. :nervous:
 
I'm 100% positive random starting positions aren't actually random.

In every single online race I've done that's been race only I've always been lower than 10th, and then start in pretty much the same position for the next race.

Anyone else have the Asia region of the game? It looks like this wasn't released as a japanese version so I bought the Asia (Hong Kong) Version through play-asia.com I got it and the codes for the modified cars and the limited cars but I can't find anything on the Hong Kong playstation store for the livery pack and the free car. Anyone else have this copy of this game and this problem?

Note to anyone racing online - don't get a drive through penalty.

I served one at Spa and had a slow down penalty of more than 1,000 seconds when I came out the pits, and at Catalunya it gave me a 30 second slow down penalty after serving the drive through. These bugs man.
 
I'm beginning to think my copy might be slightly more bugged than everyone else, I keep getting the glitch where upon restart of a session the game doesn't load correctly and 'freezes' the previous race instead. You can simply press Option and restart the session again but its happening every 5th race or so if I need to restart the session. :lol:
 
So after short session last night very impressed so far. Took 40 minutes to get everything set but enjoyed my run around hockenheim in the focus. I struggled on cold tires and realized I'm more rusty than I thought. Definitely going to start saving for a wheel ASAP. I used a controller setting that was posted on the pcars forum and that worked out really well for me. Great game WMD and SMS!
 
Right guys, How do you put heat into the Bac Mono tires? Qualifying round Monza i put 7 laps in and not a bit of heat went into the tires. The race started and the heat was all gone from two tires at the end of lap 1 and gone from all tires lap 2.
 
Is it possible to adjust restrictor size?

I'm curious to see how fast the LMP1 cars can go uninhibited, but in solo sessions the setting is locked. I assume that the presence of such a setting means it's adjustable, no?

Patch 1.3 (13/05/15)
Track Fixes:
* Zolder: Fixed cars garaged in 2 closed garages. (This fixes where you could get stuck in a garage during FP and Quali).
Controllers:
* Changed XB1 pad rumble to only update during the per frame tick and not at 600hz (Should make steering more responsive on the PC with the XB1 controller).
* Use absolute acceleration values for blending and updating steering movement to prevent negative direction (Moving the XB1 pad far left to far right, sometimes the steering got stuck, this should stop that happening).
Online:
* Removes the need to access the game setup details (Fixes occasional crash when advancing from Quali to Race).
* Crash in ProximityDetectorUserDataCreateCallback (Fixes occasional crash when returning from a race to the main menus).
* Disable driver swap for TT and MP

Why was my GameStop being shady with the metal case and poster? I had to ask for each one separate. It's like they were trying to hold onto it for themselves. Anyways it's time to get some stuff done around the house then fire this sucker up and see how I do. Haven't played a drive sim in over a year I'm bound to be a little rusty.

This game is amazing. :drool: The Aston and Bimmer GT3's are great, the brutality of the Z4 GT3 is just insane. But the Aston's sweet V12 and handling once the tires get warm is great. :3

One thing though from a DS4 user perspective...stability control (at least for now) is a must.

Did you try typing the code with no dashes? I am assuming you are on PS4. Mine worked with just the 12 numbers and letters strung together.

I bet they were like my store and not informing people who didn't ask. It was the last case they had in the store when I picked mine up. I wasn't super concerned with the poster but I just wanted to make sure I received what I should for preordering the game.
