That seems the best solution numbers wise.

SSR5 has won the vote as there's already 8 full time drivers that have picked it so here's the official schedule:

R1 – The Brickyard 200 – 200 miles/80+1 laps @ Indianapolis Motor Speedway

R2 – Shell Grand Prix of Indiana – 150 miles/58+1 laps @ Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course

R3 – Indy Japan 200 – 200 miles/130+1 laps @ Twin Ring Motegi Oval

R4 – Toyota Grand Prix of Tokyo – 150 miles/48+1 laps @ Tokyo R246 Reverse Street Circuit

R5 – Honda Indy Grand Prix of Motegi – 150 miles/51+1 laps @ Twin Ring Motegi Road Course

R6 – IZOD Twilight 150 – 150 miles/64+1 laps @ Special Stage Route 5

^^ - A 5 lap, three wide salute race at pace speed will precede the main event in memory of the late Dan Wheldon.

Same night, we start with preseason on the 22nd and we wrap up on the 21st of December 👍

I won't be part of this if no HSR is in it..

It really doesn't suit these cars, every banked corner is pit luck on whether your car spins out or not, it's awful. NASCAR is fun there but IndyCar just isn't.

The last 2 HSR races have been some of the best races of the season IMO, it fits the cars perfectly, it's not like you can gun it in every corner and stay planted all the time.

Tell me again how SSR5 fits the cars better than HSR?

I know how to setup for HSR.:)

It doesn't fit better, but the fast turns are nice with these cars, shame I suck at SSR5.:D

If I were Tom I'd swap HSR in for a Motegi.:)

They weren't really the best races to be honest Cowboys, they were filled with cautions and divebombing because there's two lines into the second banked corner yet they both finish at the track out...so the two people side by side nearly always hit each other.

The plan was to have more Motegi oval races because there's more shorter oval races than long IRL by the way.

What no HSR? Just noticed. Travesty, I want to defend my S2 win there, plus the track fits very very well with these cars. This must be in.

Our oval races aren't crapshoots because we can drive in this series. Season finale went on a pretty much 100 lap green flag run. Winner :sly:

Plus I think the WC should change and rotate every year. Daytona was the first, Motegi the second.

Personally I would make it Indy, and change Round 1 and 2 to Daytona and Daytona Road this year. Same, but different. Then you have 2 Daytona, 2 Motegi and 2 Indy I think.

I disagree mate; Motegi made a brilliant place to cap off the season and I only really changed it from Daytona because having a championship deciding race at that track is a really bad idea

I don't want to radically change the schedule every season, we've got a good base that we just tweak slightly.

Round 6 – The Trackisaw Full 150 – 150 miles/60+1 laps @ High Speed Ring

You all happy now?

gonna be honest with you, i would prefer it if we had 61 laps and 1 pace lap. just to make it an akward number 👍

I will take that as a win for humanity.

It's not on the Nationwide schedule and nobody moaned there :grumpy:

I don't know what you see in it, it's hardly that fun a track; entirely dependent on setup and ridiculously simplistic. It's an oval with a dent in it.
