So, that's strange...

I'm in an S-Class hopper right now. At Road America, during a three lap race, the end of race timer suddenly came on halfway through the second lap. I checked the race results and the winner didn't have an unusually fast lap time. Their race total was less than double their fast lap though, oddly.

I've saved the replay to check it out later. Have hackers found their way into FM6?

I wonder if there was another racer in that race that lagged out, so nobody could see him, but he was driving an incredibly fast car. I dunno.

I'm kind of hungering to make one of these

So, after some time with my new pad, I'm realizing that I'm still getting that odd steering input glitch. It's not even close to the severity it used to be, and is much, much more easier to get around then it ever was before. I really have no idea now as to what is causing it.

Not sure if it's the exact same problem as yours but worth mentioning. Experienced strange car behavior yesterday while I was going into a deep turn on Daytona short. My controller stopped vibrating and I could no longer turn despite going really slow. My first instinct was to apply the brakes. I did and the vibration came back and my car resumed turning. It threw me off the line for sure.

Is this what you're experiencing? Maybe I should try and play the game on normal steering to see if the same happens because on "sim" my car tends to react too sharply at times even though I am quite smooth with the steering inputs. Not only that, but there is understeer/oversteer on the car when there shouldn't be. I guess to gauge the physics or steering mechanics properly, one would need a wheel. I hear good things about the G920. But I like the look of the 458.

Hey just wondering apart from the Rocket 69 anyone know of any other car packs or special cars that might be coming or do you think Turn 10 are focusing on the next project, FH3.

I'd be seriously surprised if there isn't a constant stream of packs until FH3 (or whatever it ends up being called) in September.

In fact, I'd bet the May pack could be the Hot Wheels one. Possibly with the Focus RS (finally).

Please include a couple more WTCC cars. The Volvo and Citroen or Lada would do just fine. Those Volvo S60 STCC cars are killing me in Free Play.

Edit: Or the Subaru.

I dont think there's much left to milk out of Forza 6 is there? Didnt Forza 4 have two more car packs after the car pass?

Plenty. We've got so many tracks from each continent but, Asia. We're missing at least one Russian made car and at least one track/location from China, Japan or India.

There's going to be more car packs? Interesting!

I wonder if we're getting more tracks. Wouldn't mind reliving the glory days of Forza 2-4, specifically the fantasy tracks.

I wouldn't count out a free track and five car booster pack around E3 time.

As for milking more out of Forza, there's never enough cars for me. There's so many interesting road cars and fascinating race cars for them to cover.

So today i finally got my hands on the Chryslus Rocket 69 and... It's not bad.

It drives good for what it is, yes sometimes when you go too fast it won't turn, but when you go slower it's really good.

So IMO, it's fast, it handles well, it got for wheels, and it's strange, so for me it's really good.

Does it still have a V10-ish sound as depicted in the gameplay video?

It sounds like the rocket propulsion is being used lower down the rev-range to aid acceleration, similar to how the hybrid hyper cars use electric motors now. Once speed builds up, then it's mostly ICE sound.

I've been a bot of driving using the Avensis BTCC cars. Now, some races I've done 12 laps and some the default laps in Free Play. Why am I losing 50hp after one lap?

I experimented with downshifting(controller user here). If over revving, there used to be black smoke in the early games. Now, it is just mechanical sounds. I purposely shifted from 4th to 2nd quickly. I had mechanical problems instantly.
When I drive regular. I'm finding at times during whatever race conditions and no matter length of the race, I randomly lose power. I've only tried this with the Avensis. Any other cars in other classes, this has not happened. Anyone else get this?

So I decided to take a short break from Forza 6 these past few days and play a bit more Project Cars.

First time back on Forza 6 today and I feel like a total n00b again, I made the annoying mistake constantly of accidentally rewinding as I was so use to the Y button being look behind >.<

I must say if you could mix Forza's car roster with Project Cars track list (Adding some of the Forza tracks not in PC), that would be a near perfect game to me.
-----------------

Also my Drive every Car on every Track series has hit a bit of a bump, my laptop I was keeping up to date on has gone to PC heaven so need to purchase a new one (Ending my California is plans for the end of the year) Thankfully I made that list on this thread not that long ago so should be able to get my info back, only been 5 cars added since and I remember them quite well :)' still inconvienient though.

FTFY. :D (Only joking around. The '69 does use a Nuclear V8 though.)

Jumped back into the livery editor for a bit and decided to whip up a personalised "AM11 GTP" UK-style licence plate, using the Scottish Saltire done over the template I traced.

My anime logo project is going to be the death of me...
