You can add Speedster911 to that list. I had a race against him yesterday and he was very polite on-track. Too much so imo lol. If he'd been a bit more agressive he could have passed me I'm sure :D

I don't have his gamer tag, he never shared it in the gamer tag sharing thread. I thought he didn't want people to add him.

Dear Sir, it was a pleasure! I always prefer clean racing while adhering to good racecraft. After all, we play Forza, not Destruction Derby. ;)

Plus, it was late in the night, didn't want to get too much adrenaline going at the time! :D

I didn't know there was a gamer tag sharing thread. Not at all! Anyone can add me up. It's Speedster996. See you on track me fellow motorhead. :D

People are terrible. Surprisingly the lobby was 20x better than the other lobbies I've been in. Actually my worst finish of the night was 10th place out of 19 cars. But problems arose during the last few races. How so? Well people were deliberately going a lap down, just to take out the leaders and any other car that drove by. The biggest example came during the final race.

This and the behaviour seen in the below videos are the reason I have stopped playing Forza Motorsport 6. Multiplayer racing is just not fun when this is what you get the majority of the time.

DiRT Rally came at the right time for me and I jumped ship.

See, this is why I didn't win that 312 P back at the start of the year. Rammers utterly plague the game's community - I can only race in Ghost hoppers if I want good racing.

If you invest your game time playing with others, then what do you expect? People are idiots.

It's why I've never taken to online gaming. I simply prefer playing on my own, with no outside interference.

Care for some head-to-head? Only have Live Gold till April. Cherry-O!

This month I got into Forza 6 MP, and while it is fun, I don't know what's going on with the collision physics - a little tap, and the car on the receiving end just goes flying off the track. Is this a lag issue or deliberate on the dev's part? Beats me.

Forgave if i bring this up. But i really hope with a game that feature heavy, having a community feature like in GT6 is a major plus. There will be a club for car showoff, real racing, cruising, etc.

Forza 6 lobby structure isnt that good honestly. It doesnt even have a warm up session before race like in any other racing games ever (PCars, GT6, etc)

I like how "ever" consists of 2 games  I would love that feature though, it's one of the main things I miss about GT.

I got paired up with a very helpful dude the first week of the MLG 1v1 runs. He's a pretty quick guy, and as I had no idea about S Class heading into things (and the Formula Mazda's banned), he provided me with his Saleen tunes. I've since used it almost exclusively in the hoppers, either a grip or speed tune depending on location, and it's got me a lot of success. At Daytona Short it isn't quite as fast as the leaderboard Esprits, but it's not nearly as much of a pain to drive either. I've been meaning to ask him to swing by here.

Had an awesome time running with him and two of his friends in the hoppers last week. It makes things a lot more tolerable when a group can dominate a room :P . Also ran into @hardvibes a few times, who has proven consistently fast. GTP represent! :D
And sometimes I couldn't keep up with your Saleen S7:D

Why it's so bad?

Because T10 never teach players how to race and because they're not introducing penalties.

Etc. Is there for a reason though. I can spelt out Asseto Corsa, Raceroom, etc. Its just im quite lazy.
It is, but when you only list one ore two things, its kind of irrelevant because it does nothing to show your point. Either way, I was just joking. Yes, its common for simulators on PC to have features like that, but it's not too much a common thing on the consoles we play on. Anyways, like I said, I would love that.

I know ;)

I forgot I wanted to reply to this. I'm fairly positive its user lag, and what's happening is that the force of the blow is amplified because the car is warping around the track and ridiculous speeds, all the while retaining its full shape. I think if someones going to be lagging like that, they should be ghosted automaticaly so instances like this don't happen.

The same thing was happening when me and you where racing, and you're car warped into mine causing me to fly off, but on your screen you said you didn't touch me. That is just likely do to the fact that you are on the complete opposite side of the world lol. It sucked though, because it damaged my rear end pretty good since sim damage was on, but because you didn't actually hit me, you didn't get any damage. It was our race at Watkins Glen when you where driving the F40 I believe.

You folks up for a race in a few hours? I'll be home in roughly 2.5 hours if anyone's interested in a private race. Mics aren't required, but it would be handy to have in the event of an accident.

Got requested to come into work today, but I'll be home in about 3-4 hours, so if you guys are still on I'm totally up for it.

I might head to a flea market in the next half hour or so. I might be there for awhile (maybe 3 hours at minimum). If you guys are still on, I'll join.

No problem guys. We can do it at a later time today if you guys want. I wanna make sure that we can find a time that works for everyone. ;)

Well, it looks like I'm now basically free (we're going next weekend as it might rain today). So anytime we'll work with me. But I can wait for everyone else though. I'm in no rush.

The MLG tournament starts at 4 today, but I wouldn't say no to some friendly practice. :P

On serious note, im surprised they choose Forza for the competitive gaming. I thought they will use the more challenging and realistic game such as Asseto Corsa or PCars.

Add iRacing and rFactor in that list! ;)

My guess is they want a nice mix of approachability and difficulty on consoles. PCARS leans more to the latter for those not blessed with full wheel setups, and AC still isn't on console. FM6 is reasonably hard if you're aiming for the top tier, especially as they've banned most of the obvious leaderboard cars from the competition.

Oh yeah, and there's no racing game that's sold more than FM6 on a single console this generation, to my knowledge. So it's targeting the biggest possible userbase.

Sorry for double post, but I'm on XBOX now if anyone would like a race. Make sure you've added my gamertag 'A 1998 Jeep XJ', so I can invite you.

You know what, count me in.

I've got fed up of the constant bizarre track choices in the public lobbies, add that to the mostly idiotic drivers and it is a horrible experience. The Daytona oval has come up so often these last days that I now pull off to the side at the start and wait for 30 seconds, then see how far up the field I can get, my PB at the moment is 22nd to 3rd .

You can have a track vote with Daytona oval (day), something like Prague short and random. If by some miracle people vote for random you end up with... Daytona oval at night :banghead: .

I had one where it was like Sliverstone GP, Watkins Glen Short, and Random. I voted for the Glen, everyone else votes random. Random wins and we get Monza Short Circuit. Really?

Ugh...I can relate to that. One time in a C class lobby we had a choice of Nurburgring Nordschleife, Road America Full Circuit, and random. Me, liking Nurburgring a lot, vote for Nurburgring. Everyone else picks random. Track gets switched to Rio Mountain Circuit...
I left so quickly. Hate that damn track. :banghead:

Also I think XBOX live is having issues at the moment. Everything is so slow to load, and I know it's not my internet, because I can load everything else just fine.
