I only really drive stock cars and so far the '15 Z28 and Z06 are the most impressive.

Ok its official i am addicted to Forza 6 i cant get enough of this game. I will be playing this for a long time. Ill try to buy every car and rank up my driver level to a high level. Online is fun so is the career well done turn 10 👍

I will happily second that. 6 has me hooked too, just like 3, 4 and 5. Though I see myself spending a lot more time in 6 than any other Forza game to date. Until Horizon 3 comes out.. I doubt there's any other game that will be getting this much attention.

Was lucky enough to pick it up on Sept 15, been playing it every day, without fail. In fact, been losing sleep these last couple of days, and to top it off... just restocked my coffee supply, in this warm/humid weather!! :dopey::dopey::dopey:

Finally had a chance to check out an endurance race. I ran the Road Atlanta 100 and had a blast. I used the Flying Lizard Audi and truly enjoyed the event. Will be checking out more endurance races in the future.

Found out exactly what I need to unlock the Endurance at Bathurst.

My affinity with Chevy and Mercedes is already maxed out at 25. So I will start using other cars.

Spent quite a bit of time in A class non collision league play over the weekend. Or should I say "BAC Mano" league play. haha Several times there were 24 players and maintained full for quite a while. Had fun but generally was at the back of the pack. I have about 8 A class cars but they still need a lot of tuning work. My A class Mercedes Gullwing seems to be about my best car for A class. Handles very well.

Had some fun races with @DDastardly00 over the weekend too with the AI. On Saturday I as running the huge Terradyne Gurkha and had a nasty wreck that damaged everything. So after that I was only able to go about 15mph. Following the crash, the AI hit me so hard it actually flipped this beast over. The video is in my xbox record that videos.

Are you on a controller? Don't your hands/fingers ache after playing for so long?

I am on a controller but no my hands do not ache after playing so long. It was an hour race. I did pause every so often to go to the bathroom, check messages, or most important....take pictures while racing. :)

On a side note, I do still think the 360 controllers were more ergonomic for me. I like the X1 controllers a lot, the 360 just felt better to me. Especially after long hours of gameplay.

Notmally I run with ABS on but I decided to try no ABS (like I used to in FM1-3) and wow. The stopping distance with ABS off is much shorter than on.

I don't remember it being that different in earlier Forza games. That or my skills have slipped in 10 years.

Much easier for me in FM6 running ABS off.

I agree. I'm ok with the X1 controller now, but I didn't like the feel of it at first

I'm a X1 controller user and agree that it feels nice as well. Let's unite. :D

Honestly lads, I did prefer the feel of the X360 controller; it was ergonomically friendlier. The X1's controller is nice too, I'm used to it now (didn't enjoy the squeaky trigger episode). I like the design too, the feel of the analog sticks and triggers rumbling.

The left trigger could be a slightly longer than the right. Just that little bit for more braking modulation. For me anyway.

So I did the Nurbugring 125 this weekend and decided to choose the BMW Z4 race car. Hearing all the flake that this car got, and even watching the video that VVV uploaded, I can not understand where everyone is coming from. This car drove beautifully, and I even had a -9% grip dare mod applied. As long as you don't slap the throttle and the brakes as if its an on/off switch, it will be glued to the floor. Also, watch out for curbs, those will get you.

The one thing I did have a problem with was the horrible pit strategy that the AI had. They pit every two laps, when I could go a full 3 laps and have a quarter tank left. With that said, they ended up more than 15k feet behind me. When you think about it, it was pretty sad, because if it wasn't for that then the top 2 players would have definitely given me a fun race.

I am thinking about running this endurance race tonight. I generally pick cars that I have a low affinity with. So the BMW might be the car I also pick for that race depending on the other car options.

M. Rossi is as tough as ever  He was going to give me a good run if it wasn't for their pitting.

It will be a tough challenge for me because I still do not know the Nurburgring all that well. I like that track a lot, I just don't have it memorized.

Here are the results from my Atlanta 100 endurance race from last Friday.

For those of you that have done endurance races, do you recommend increasing Drivatar difficulty? It seems like the majority of races can be won at most difficulties as long as you have enough laps. I'd like to make sure I'm not lapping the pack 1/4 of the way in.

I've started doing this too. I didn't realise the stopping distance was so much shorter until Forza 6's track loading screen hints clued me in. Since I generally brake before turning in Forza it seemed like an ideal opportunity to try it out. Rain races are a different story though, the stopping distances are so long anyway I may as well use ABS in case I miss the apex.

I think if you're managing to win in the regular races on one difficulty then you should go for one higher on the difficulty scale in endurance races depending on how fast you get through the pack in regular races, if you're in the top 3 on regular races within the first lap then maybe more than one step higher. Of course another thing that affects this is the AI have some odd pit strategies which may sometimes give you a huge advantage.

During the Le Mans 250 event I did this past Friday one of the Peugeot's ran for 7 laps on the first stint but then only 5 laps for each stint after, I was having a good race with that car until coming out of the pits they lost control on the cold tyres and hit the barriers. If that car had ran 7 lap stints throughout the race I think it stood a fair chance of winning.

So for the first time in what must be approaching 200 public multiplayer matches Monza has been sighted! I was racing D class and the short track came up on the voting screen, only one vote wasn't for Monza so I'm guessing a lot of other people hadn't seen the track in multiplayer yet. Really a shame it doesn't come up more often when it seems like we're racing Yas Marina Corner Cutter Paradise every other race.

Now that I think about it I've yet to see either of the long Le Mans layouts online yet (D-S classes) whether that be racing or on the voting screen, I've seen Bugatti circuit a lot but I'm not too keen on that layout.

So, the first VIP gift car was released. It's a Ford Fiesta ST with a custom livery. To me, that's awesome, as I enjoy lower-class racing, and was planning on buying a Fiesta ST at some point.
Edit: I should note that in order to claim the Fiesta ST, you need to claim it from the Gift tab in the Message Center.

I haven't really noticed the fuel gauge. Where is it? And how do you know when to get your tires replaced? I've done a max of 6-lap races but nowhere does it indicate tire wear.:confused:

That is a nice VIP bonus.
Yes it truly pays off being a VIP in the Forza series. T10 makes sure you are very well rewarded. I always highly recommend getting VIP if you are a fan of the series. I have never regretted it.

Ran my 2nd endurance last night. This time the Nurburgring 125. I decided to use the BMW after @ImaRobot mentioned he used it. Overall it handed quite well for me as long as I did not slam the gas or the brakes. I generally did not drop below 3rd gear to save tire wear and maintain traction. I also pitted every 3 laps.

Here are my Nurburgring post result stats.
