I suppose, but that also looks to be an official company photo. I can't seem to find any real life 4 door STs with the badge on that side. I realize this is nit-picky, but I own an ST in real life and noticed that right away and found it strange. :crazy:

haha I know that feeling. I immediately bought an EVO X in the game because I own one and noticed right away that the Mitsu badge on the trunk is missing, but I think maybe the Japanese version that's in the game doesn't have it. It's funny what you notice when you own a car or are just a really big fan of one. Details that probably 99% of gamers don't notice, but you pick up right away.

Back in the Forza 5 days, when I owned a 2004 STI, I remember driving the 2004 STI in the game and noticing the brake lights were wrong, they lit up in the wrong spot. I suppose it makes sense to find the small errors in the game cars when you have one in real life. Makes me wonder how accurate the other cars are.

It's been bugging me too. I don't think there is, sadly - and there isn't even an option to turn off cosmetic damage in-race, either, so Photomoders have it especially tough.

Has anyone used their super rare affinity bonus mod yet after hitting affinity level 25? I didn't want to post about it yet to avoid spoilers. Also keep in mind it is specifically only for that Manufacturer. That is a very impressive incentive to keep using a Manufacturer that is maxed out.

Mercedes is 25
Chevy is very close to 25.
I think Ford is around 20.
BMW is about 18.
Audi around 8.

I also use mine when the opportunity presents itself. So far have maxed out:

Lotus
Chevrolet
Honda
Ferrari

Got to that state last weekend, haven't really played since. Funny how stupid little things can (temporarily) ruin a game for you. Got my new pedals and shifter, will set it all up on the weekend and that'll hopefully get me back into the game.

Even the "wash car" button that was in FH2 would have been greatly appreciated. Most of the time the dirt specs/patches just look like flat paint.

Especially with the sometimes "over excited" AI ha. Ah well just another niggling thing to add to the growing list about this game.

I salute you for that. I am guessing it gives 10% or 15%. I always keep rewind on. Especially for Endurance races. That is one dare I do not risk taking. :lol:

So does rewind work well enough in endurance races? I'm most certainly using my Specter mod for an endurance race. lol

The ST badge on the rear is on the wrong side of the car, should be on the left for the 4 door version of the car. An error they did not fix from FM5 or Horizon 2. Unless they intentionally did that, for a sort of hybrid of the 2 and 4 door versions. hmm

Correct. A US-spec car should have the "ST" badge on the left, and a "Fiesta" badge on the right.

T10 also got the '13 Focus ST wrong. It's a Euro-spec car with USA badging. Lots of times they model prototype cars in an effort to get them in the game quicker. The 2013 Focus debuted in FM4 in all the way back in 2011.
 
Is is bad that I'm trying to max out my affinity with Jeep? :P
Just grinding a custom 50 lap race on Daytona with a Corvette-powered Wagoneer. :lol:
 
I've only got Ford and Ferrari so far, I was thinking about attempting to get to 25 for every manufacturer as a sort of long term goal on the game but it would become really tedious really quickly I reckon.

I'm just running E to C spec cars round the Nürburgring 24hour course in rivals until they run out of fuel at the moment between career races. The amount of times you can level up from doing 3 or 4 laps whilst improving you lap times is unbelievable.

The 1953 Ferrari 500 Mondial hardly uses any fuel at all in D spec, I done about 10 laps of the Nürburgring 24hour layout and it didn't even use a quarter of it's tank! I'm going to try it on other courses because I fear it may have been some sort of glitch.

I don't use rewind at all. Even when I get to the endurance races, I will keep it off. All the more reason to really make that coffee count and FOCUS. :lol:

Hey, I have a quick question about Leagues: is it a kind of MP mode that requires Live Gold? Or is it kinda like Rivals?

For some reason rewind stops working about a quarter into a endurance race (just won't work way more often than not) and goes back to normal for the last quarter.

That is my guess since I heard Facebook also got hit by something this week. (I dont have facebook, I only heard it was attacked) Its that time of the year again so it wouldnt surprise me if the Lizzard squad is at it again. Will make for another crappy christmas if they succeed. If it is the LS again, that means PSN will likely be hit again too. Lets hope that doesnt happen.

Yes overall it works very well. Out of the 3 endurance races I have completed, it only refused to work 1 time but as somoene else mentioned, if the AI is pitting, the rewind could be a bit buggy for a few seconds. So I waited about 5 seconds, tried again, and it worked.

With that said I unlocked and then completed the Bathurst 100 last night!! I used the Ford because my affinity was lower than I thought it was. Whoa this was by far the most challenging and fun endurance for me. I was being a bit more aggressive on the rear tires than I should have and was starting to lose rear traction after about 9 laps. Tires were tore up about 26% by that point and with no assists on, it was a handful. But an absolute blast!! Took me at least 6 or 7 laps to thread myself to the front of the pack. M rossi put up a pretty good fight for about half of the endurance. Made for a great race. After about 15 laps he accepted defeat and was never to be seen again. :lol:

Hmmmm, so I hit level 25 affinity for Ferrari, but the badge is still locked? Anyone else encounter this?
 
4th endurance finished. Catalunya 100. Used the Viper. That thing just chews through tires. I also unlocked the Spa endurance and will run that probably Friday night or over the weekend.

Is it me, or is stance a bit better in this game? Sure, you can't do offsets or widen tracks, but you can tuck pretty well to give a track car, rather than show car stance.
 
Forza servers seem to be down for me. Anyone else? Can't access the vinyl shop, multiplayer, etc.
Edit: They seem to be working again.

I think the Community galleries for Forza 6 at forzamotorsport.net are down. When I log in all I see is my forza 4 and forza 3 galleries....weird.

Had that happen on the weekend. Logged out and then back in, and it was fixed.
