1. The fuel gauge hud is the white line located within the speedo.

2. Tire heat/wear is identified by the colour of tire hud (Blue, Black, Yellow, Red)

I always checked wear in the telemetry screen (%). I knew temp was on the right regular HUD but is this also wear?

I haven't really noticed the fuel gauge. Where is it? And how do you know when to get your tires replaced? I've done a max of 6-lap races but nowhere does it indicate tire wear.:confused:

No that is not wear, that will only show how hot your tires are. @Oso Actual is correct, youd have to go through the telemetry.

@Speedster911 Not only is the gas gauge at the bottom right, but the actual gauge inside every car works as well.

Yes it truly pays off being a VIP in the Forza series. T10 makes sure you are very well rewarded. I always highly recommend getting VIP if you are a fan of the series. I have never regretted it.

Ran my 2nd endurance last night. This time the Nurburgring 125. I decided to use the BMW after @ImaRobot mentioned he used it. Overall it handed quite well for me as long as I did not slam the gas or the brakes. I generally did not drop below 3rd gear to save tire wear and maintain traction. I also pitted every 3 laps.

Here are my Nurburgring post result stats.

That's what I also found about the BMW. If you aren't hammering the triggers it'll drive wonderfully. Your payouts are really close to what I got, but you got my driver/affinity points. I also pitted every three laps as well, but it's just sad that the AI does it every two laps.

Yeah, that's exactly what had me confused initially, as the HUD only shows tire heat. Kind of distracting having to go in the telemetry during a race, just to check up on your tires. Gauges also work inside cars? That's pretty cool actually.

Thanks guys. 👍

The photo above - that was a hilarious movie. Know what I'm sayiiinnn.. (Yeah, I DO know what you're saying)..

I think it comes up onscreen (the same way damaged does) when your tires reach certain wear levels.

I remember this happening on FM5, but haven't encountered a long enough race for it to happen in FM6 though, but with the amount the gas burns through, you probably won't encounter it unless you're driving crazy.

I only did as I was driving my hellcat around the test track doing burnouts and drifting for like 10 minutes :P

Correct. When your tires reach 70% wear, a damage notification will pop up. It will do it again at 90%, and again at 100%. That being said, fuel tends to run out before tire durability every time. Of all vehicles, I found out about the tire damage notification while racing around Daytona in a Gurkha.

@dylansan lemme get a pic or two of the Fiesta VIP car. Gimme around 10 minutes.

Edit: Here it is.

I should note that the car came with no upgrades, and white stock rims. I just tuned it for C class.

Trying to get the Bathurst 100 Endurance unlocked. To do that, I have to play more of the campaign. I am in the process of trying to find a car I like for the S 750 campaign races. I tried a Jaguar but wasn't really enjoying that car much. And it was a bit too quite for me. I switched to the Skyline GTR and used that for 1 of the races. That car sounds really good plus its such a great car to drive. I plan to convert it to RWD for even more fun. :)

I will probably attack the Catalunya endurance this week too. Shocked at how fun these endurance races are.

The ST badge on the rear is on the wrong side of the car, should be on the left for the 4 door version of the car. An error they did not fix from FM5 or Horizon 2. Unless they intentionally did that, for a sort of hybrid of the 2 and 4 door versions. hmm

Has anyone used their super rare affinity bonus mod yet after hitting affinity level 25? I didn't want to post about it yet to avoid spoilers. Also keep in mind it is specifically only for that Manufacturer. That is a very impressive incentive to keep using a Manufacturer that is maxed out.

Mercedes is 25
Chevy is very close to 25.
I think Ford is around 20.
BMW is about 18.
Audi around 8.

I use mine at every opportunity. Right now I got:
Mercedes
Lamborghini
Audi
Chevolet
Ford
McLaren
And Lotus maxed out

Oh dang you have quite a few maxed out already. Generally I use the endurance races to boost affinity. Not that money is a problem at all but if I ever do get low, I will probably use it on one of the endurance races. :D

Yep. I grind the endurance races to using % boosters for XP. I already finished all the enduros but I replay the alot because they're the best races in FM6 in my opinion. I just wish they had more night or rain races.

Freeplay. Set up any endurance race you want.

I've got Mazda, BMW, and Ford all maxed right now, and Ferrari's next at about 18 or so. Haven't actually used the gift mod for any of them though, since I'm still hovering around 9 million credits.

Right now I just have Honda maxed out. Mazda and Lexus are tie at 18 I believe, and BMW is next at 16.

Accidentally quoted you, Slip.

More night and rain races would be nice for sure. Since they worked so well in F6, I am sure we will see many more in F7. I am also hoping they add at least 1 more to F6.
You can also set up your own races online with friends and AI. You could set it to as many laps as you want on any track. Want 8 laps on Nurburgring in the rain with friends and AI, go for it. :)

Yes this too. However the weather and night are still restricted to certain tracks.

Am I the only one here who hasn't used any mods or dares. Even the one at the beginning that they 'encourage' you to use. I put one in to get past the mod screen then took it off before the race... I find that the game is generous enough with credits (so glad I don't need to grind credits!) that I don't need any boosts and would rather keep all my laps clean...

Some are simply fun for the extra challenge. Reduced HP, or increased weight. That's the ones I like to use. Even during the endurance races I used the one that removed some of my power. :)

I currently use one that reduces grip by 15%, it's more of a challenge that way. The added credits is just a bonus, really. I want to accumulate as much credits as I can, since I only got a 100,000 credit boost at start

I just use the no ABS one that I have as I don't run with that anyway.

Makes sense to use the dares to increase the fun factor or challenge, but I spend 95% of my race time hotlapping in rivals mode so I can't have dirty laps due to mods/dares... maybe if I ever venture to other race types I'll give them a try :)

Correct me if I am wrong but I am pretty sure the Rivals times are separate from the campaign. Plus in campaign it is dang near impossible to run clean laps with AI on the track at all times. So when I want to run rivals, I specifically enter rivals mode for that. Oh also I don't think you can even run mods in rivals mode anyway. Pretty sure mods are only available in the campaign.

When I run the campaign, I try to get as much exp and money as I can, along with the fun challenge from the dare mods.

I have the 'no rewinds' mod on all the time. I can't even remember what I get for it :lol:
I salute you for that. I am guessing it gives 10% or 15%. I always keep rewind on. Especially for Endurance races. That is one dare I do not risk taking.

Hmmm.

Guess it depends where they got the source car from!
I brought something about that up with the 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX. The 05 WRX in Forza has the front bumper and front clip of a 06 WRX. I guess it is designed after some special rare version of the 05 WRX so it is supposed to look different. That is also why it has a right side drive. *shrugs*

On a side note, is anyone even attempting the P class league play? I dont see myself doing well in that at all but I will probably at least give it a try over the weekend. I generally stay in B class and lower. Sometimes A. I don't see myself putting much effort into P class.

I haven't attempted playing the leagues period..... too afraid of failure!!!
The collisions are usually off so you have nothing at all to worry about. Its full ghost mode. Even if you come in last place every time, you still get paid on Monday when the event is over. Plus you get money, affinity, and exp for every race you attend. You have nothing at all to lose. :)

You can still post times on the rivals leaderboards from campaign races. But like you said, laps will almost always be dirty because of the AI.
I like running hotlaps by myself so I think I've only run maybe 2 career races when I first got the game and haven't touched that mode since...

I suppose, but that also looks to be an official company photo. I can't seem to find any real life 4 door STs with the badge on that side. I realize this is nit-picky, but I own an ST in real life and noticed that right away and found it strange.

I think this has something to do with the Japanese model year difference? I believe the 2005 WRX in Japan is the same as the US 2006/07 WRX. I do know that the Japan/ Australia 2003 WRX and STI looks the same as the US 2004 STI, despite the fact that the US never got the STI as a 2003 model year. This would also explain the right hand drive.
