That is my guess since I heard Facebook also got hit by something this week. (I dont have facebook, I only heard it was attacked) Its that time of the year again so it wouldnt surprise me if the Lizzard squad is at it again. Will make for another crappy christmas if they succeed. If it is the LS again, that means PSN will likely be hit again too. Lets hope that doesnt happen.
Yes overall it works very well. Out of the 3 endurance races I have completed, it only refused to work 1 time but as somoene else mentioned, if the AI is pitting, the rewind could be a bit buggy for a few seconds. So I waited about 5 seconds, tried again, and it worked.
With that said I unlocked and then completed the Bathurst 100 last night!! I used the Ford because my affinity was lower than I thought it was. Whoa this was by far the most challenging and fun endurance for me. I was being a bit more aggressive on the rear tires than I should have and was starting to lose rear traction after about 9 laps. Tires were tore up about 26% by that point and with no assists on, it was a handful. But an absolute blast!! Took me at least 6 or 7 laps to thread myself to the front of the pack. M rossi put up a pretty good fight for about half of the endurance. Made for a great race. After about 15 laps he accepted defeat and was never to be seen again.

I noticed Forza 6 has a spelling mistake in one of the menu titles. Go to Upgrade Shop, Tires and Rims, then when you go to the actual Tires its spelled Tyres lol. 
not sure theres a right way to spell it upon google search both spellings.

Tires would be the preferred North American way of spelling it, tyres is I think the preferred spelling in other English speaking countries. I don't know if it would be classed as "incorrect" if an American spelt it tyres but the majority of times I've read the words from an American publisher it was spelt tires.
Maybe they just had different people who had different preferences creating the menus, good spot nonetheless.

Turned on the game, did a quick race, and when I got back to the menus there was a pop-up that told me I got the loyalty cars. Again. So I got something like 10 new duplicate cars. Shame I can't sell them for credits.

Since xboxlive was down for a couple hours I ended up just watching a 3D movie for a while. Then checked back a couple hours later and it was up. I jumped into the Rainbox six siege beta for a couple hours and enjoyed that.
Tonight my plan in F6 is to at least attack the Spa endurance race. Might even jump into the league play this weekend for a few rounds of P class. I cant see that going very well but worth a try.
That is if xbox live stays up.

Just about finished the Career mode. For the first time. There are still other events i need to do. I have been enjoying career although before I was racing in Silverstone in the rain. Just about every car on the 2nd last corner slid in the wet and went off. I was having a good battle fo 1st place until the drivetar decided to do that.

I got booted back to the start menu last night when Live went down. Just as I was set to finish the Le Mans 250. Figures.
Really wish I could shorten the gear ratios on the R18. 6th and 7th were useless on the long straights and I couldn't quite crack 200mph, whereas the 908 would breeze past when it got close enough. Hopping in the R15++ now and it's definitely got more of an edge in terms of speed (although it's still not quite enough to get the jump on the 908), plus it's capable of going nearly twice the distance on a single tank. All it lacks is the cornering stability of the Quattro.
It's also worth knocking both headlights out for an added challenge. If you're the masochistic sort.

Hopefully live stays up. It has went down the last 2 days around the same time. Starting around 4:30 EST. Would suck if the Lizard squad are at it again. If PSN starts going down then we will know LS is at it again. As of right now probably just MS having issues in preparation of the huge update coming in November. I know the current preview beta is having a lot of problems and they only have about a month to get it resolved before it goes public. If it still has issues, they really need to delay the public November update or it will be a disaster. 
They also just increased the party chat from 8 to 12. That could also be some of the issue because that is quite an overload in one party. Only guessing.

I did a 2nd test fit of the vinyls on the Cobb/SPT BRZ last night, cleaned up some fitment issues on the sides and front. The Piaa and NGK decals on the sides are just place holders for now, also in the space below the racing numbers, I am thinking about creating and placing the Suzuka Circuit logo; I think it would look good there. All in all it's getting there, I finished a great deal of work this week, created the Super GT logo, Brembo, Yokohama and Cusco logos too. I want to finish it ASAP and move onto the Miata livery (I decided to do it after all).

Will do, I am flying solo until Tuesday, so lot's of extra duties fall on me this weekend with her being out of town, basically her share of the household chores, grocery shopping etc, but I should be on tonight and tomorrow night after the kids are in bed.

I wish you could drive Road Atlanta in the rain. I'm at Road Atlanta for Petit Le Mans this weekend, and the track was soaked. It looked like it'd be a blast to drive in the rain! Unfortunately some of the drivers who had some pretty nasty offs might not agree with me...
