I wonder what gameplay improvements means? Hopefully a more fleshed out free-play section with the ability to chose what car the drivatars drive. Guess we'll have to wait and see on Tuesday!

I for one am hoping it's multiplayer multi-class for "ABCD'S" like fm5 and "Forza Le Mans" from FM4.
 
Turn 10 really screwed up with Formula E in career.

Indy Oval, Road America and now Spa.

You know you don't have to pick the formula E for that series right? I made the same mistake and just changed to GT Cars
 
Just finished up all the showcase events. I should really slow down though. I'm running out of things to do. :scared:
 
So has anyone else unlocked the fury that is the Grand Wagoneer?



I mean, I bring this up because it just seems really indicative of how well balanced the class system really is this time around. Anyone else find something you thought was gonna be silly, only for it to be really quick?

The Jeep Willys is incredibly fast in the slower classes, on some of the tighter tracks can even give the Mazda RX3 a run for it's money.

Ford Shelby Raptor can be made very competitive in C class, it's not got the greatest handling but the PI balancing means it can make up for that with power.

Only car I've come across that I can't make reasonably competitive is the Gurkha, but I'll let them off considering it's weight and intended purposes.

So I just had my game freeze literally seconds after finishing the Nurburgring 125... and it didn't count.

That's terrible. I've seen a few accounts of game freezes during endurance races now, but just after and it not counting is even worse.

Believe me, I was literally fuming with anger. The game locked up right as the screen was fading to black to show my car pulling into the pits to collect my winnings. I heard the sound stutter like mad, then.... silence. A few seconds later, I was booted to dashboard. Needless to say, it'll be a long while before I attempt the race again.

This has happened to me once so far. Luckily I was just hot lapping.

I hope the Tuesday patch brings a host of fixes. It's bout' time.

Edit:

Just reading a review of F6 - is this guy for real? I don't think he's played too many realistic racing games, let alone pushed a high-powered car.. and no mention at all of the sound.

Bounced around all weekend in F6. Ranging from several hours of online RWD drifting, to most of the mp hoppers including A, B,C,D, finished more campaign, painted a few more cars, shared a couple tunes, bought more cars, and took a few pics.

I even attempted 1 race of P class league play. As predicted, P class is just not for me. Plus the rooms were all very empty. I believe now the league play is some sort of race cars, however, there are collisions on so not sure if I want to attempt that.

I've had this happen a number of times, once even twice within half an hour (and with a full hard reset in between), so I will be a little nervous when I start the endurance races.
 
Is anyone else still having issues connecting to MP? Every time I try multiplayer or leagues, it just wont connect.

Anyone else notice it extending to other cars as well? Buy the 2003 Celica. Narrator Lady announces it as "Celica Super Sport I" or whatever.

There was a Super Sport-II. Maybe she's just referencing the I to be specific?
 
Yes, I know there was an SS-I. Just that it's another car where "Super Sport" is used instead of the apparently correct "SS".

The only "Celica Super Sport" that Google turns up is one of Rod Millen's Pikes cars.
