I can see how ghost leagues can be distracting. I find myself still using my brakes to avoid other cars when I don't have to. My favorite game mode by far is still free race. I can do that for hours on end and not get tired of it. By the way, I thought the game sounded good to begin with, I just started using headphones and it sounds unbelievable now. :)

Did I remember awhile back someone saying they couldn't get the Formula E cars to work for them?

If so, I might be able to help! I've worked out a setup that is super stable and mostly eliminates the terrible slide-happiness those things have. Mine is on the #27 car right now, but I think all the cars are the same so it should transfer to the other ones just fine.

I'll post it if anyone is actually interested.

So I caved in and bought the season pass today. I'm going to try out the Prototypes, then soon after the IMSA cars. I wish there was more modern GT cars but with the inclusion of the GTR Gt500, I have hope.

So far, Holdens are 5(including the HSV) to 2, over Falcons. I'm thinking either XY GTHO is next or a Chrysler Charger.

There's always an XD to go with the '88 Commodore :D

Yup, it's great that Holden has some more exposure in the world of racing games. I can't really think of that many games that focus on Holdens as much as the Forza games. I just wished that Turn 10 gave the other Aussie cars some attention by now.

I really wish we could run 3 of the same mods, I hope Turn 10 gives us the ability to do so in the future.

Just now realised I could use the Falcon and Monaro in American Muscle Cars Free Play. T10, we need to add cars from our garages in Free Play. PLEASE.

OK I play PCars ALOT, it is flawed and a mess in places but it has UK tracks and i can change FOV. I just cant get into FM6, FM3 was awesome but FM4 grabbed me and never let go i spent ALOT of time over 3 odd years on that game, unreal game.
Please i want so much to get back into Forza,l so far i have not purchased any DLC which says it all really, what am i doing wrong or what does anyone suggest will win me back.
To add biggest issue i have is my TX wheel is rubbish on it and cars feel like on ice.

Have you messed with any deadzones? I suggest looking into that first and give it a try again. I don't have a wheel, but I'm sure some users can help you out with what settings they find comfortable.

If you don't mind me asking, what is the problem that you seem to be having?

Basically i wanted Forza 6 to grab me and take me in and never let me leave. PCars has done that and i'm pretty honest and vocal about that games issues so dont worry i'm not here to start a forza v PCARS war.
I'm mature enough to know that PCars is actually not the same as Forza, PCars is like old codies ToCA and GRid games.

Anyway i want so much to get into Forza 6 but everytime i try to play it i find i cant get the car to do anything near what i ask of it, it puts me off playing it. I just want a reason i stick it on, no joking this is a serious question not aimed at any agenda but should i stop trying to play FM6 with my TX wheel and at first just enjoy it on controller?
Seems a waste of a TX wheel but i think i'll give it a few hours tonight on controller.

That's all fine and dandy, no one is making it out to that. That aside, have you changed the deadzones yet?

I would say no, just go in with the wheel and get acquainted with that. I only have a pad, but I know wheel users that have no problem in this department. Are you talking about purely stock cars, or cars you've upgraded on your own?

I feel that most of your problems might be down to deadzone settings/wheel settings.

If you're driving mostly race cars in pCARS, I'd look for something similar in FM6 to get to grips with. I know jumping from race to road cars can be a shock due to the slower reactions just within FM6 itself, and coming from pCARS, where that difference is also pretty big, could be making it even worse.

Apparently wheel users just got a fix, which should hopefully improve things. The FFB in FM6 on wheel was never quite satisfactory for me, so maybe that's what the problem is?

I've mentioned before about the 1970 Chevelle still being poorly modeled, and I found a good way to see what's off. Basically, just go to the buy cars section and quickly flip back and forth between the Chevelle and El Camino. Granted this won't help past the doors, but you can see how off the front end is, along with the wheels.

Yup, I've noticed that there's a model difference between the 2, but I thought it was because they were on different platforms or something. Hmmm, I could probably go play FM6 later and take pictures of the cars in my garage to compare them or something.

Also, wow; another Ferrari race car. I guess maybe that's this month's free car. I can't wait to hear what they have to say.

Forza has a lot of cars like that. They debuted nearly 10 years ago when modeling standards weren't as exact. The Chevelle dates back to FM2 (2007), and is really an embarrassment.

Yep, it's the same car as in FM5. Thought it might be different, but went back to double-check.

Still, neat. It did seem strange how a few cars were cut...

Sorry for this silly question, I just downloaded this twitch app, do I just follow Forza 6 the game, is that where they broadcast their stuff at? Or is there some other channel I should be looking for?

Their channel name should be "forzamotorsport". Following the game means you'll see anybody who is playing it.

I'd rather have more cars than boring tracks like Motegi or Tsukuba, honestly.

Yep, I don't miss either at all, er, either.
