This has been a bug for a while now (pre-Jan update), it happens occasionally in multiplayer as well but not as often as you're experiencing. Usually I don't even look at it but after one of my friends mentioned it I check every race.

Good to hear it's known about and not just me! :)

Lord, drivers of hypercars-that-really-should-be-in-R-Class in P-Class lobbies are loathsome...

Is there anyway to check mileage on a car to see if you have driven it or not?

Go into Forzavista (X on the main menu) and select the information icon over the left rear wheelarch.

Either that or select in "My cars" and "View history" for more in-depth info

Thanks a lot. I'm trying to get this badge for 400 different cars driven and I can't remember for sure which cars I need to drive yet. 👍

I never noticed a missing braking indicator when playing in any game mode. I'm not surprised to see something like this mentioned though. There are too many randomly occurring bugs in the game.

I just found another way to see mileage, on the car select screen, right there in front of my non-seeing eyes, is a view history selection. It has the distance in miles instead of feet there. Well I feel rather stupid now. :dunce: I guess it's since I mostly race free play, and that view history option doesn't show up in car selection there, it's only in the main menu under "my cars", will the view history show.

I tried test driving a R34 Skyline on Long Beach and it was still annoying. Yup, I hate this track.

Maybe because I stick to classic coupes, Mini '65s and mostly 1980's and earlier cars. I find Long Beach ok. That and the shorter course like Yas East(?). I like foot to the floor shifting past the pit straight at along Beach. The bumps make the cars do all cool things the way I have my cars setup. Feels real to me. Feels more like the onboard videos I watched of these cars on tv. I guess it's the nostalgia of it all for me. These real circuits in all the cars I dreamed about.

Like I mentioned, I don't get much joy from the newer cars as I get from all the retro cars on these circuits. Slow cars being rung to their necks feels more enjoyable than a fast car to me. In this game anyway.

That's the thing; I've tried multiple cars at this point on that track including a couple of older cars such as a Lotus Cortina and 1st Gen Mazda RX-7 and I still get annoyed with this track.

Oh yeah, I just looked at my badges for the first time in a while today and got an achievement for just equipping a gold badge. I guess I'll try to get the badge for test driving 400 cars next.

I've been doing this all day and yesterday evening. I feel like I've driven 800 cars already. I have to be getting close to 400. I thought I was close and it would only take a couple hours.

The Gurkha is surprisingly fun to drive. Of course, it's terrible, but it's funny to put 23 unbeatable drivatars in Gurkhas and watch the carnage unfold from them trying to take normal lines (how exactly? open spoiler to find out how to get a full grid of Gurkhas).
GetPhoto.ashx

You can do this by using a stock E185 Gurkha in Free Play, and setting the Drivetrain to AWD only. Do NOT put the car class to 'E', as you'll end up facing much more maneuverable trucks/SUVs, which the Gurkha will be dominated by. Only set the drivetrain to AWD, pick your course/laps, and race. If done correctly, you should get 23 Gurkhas to show up in your race.

I'm so glad I'm back on Forza. Had my Forza Xbox One console for 3 or 4 days only and finding my feet already. The way the controller and physics model works together makes for such fun driving :D
My only annoyance is the online racing. What on earth, haven't had a single race without being punted off a number of times. One thing I liked about by brief flirt with GT6 was the fact you have to pass a certain level of licenses before you're allowed online, filters out the 🤬.

Glad you're enjoying it!

To be fair, in all my years playing racing games online, the only game I really enjoyed was F355 Challenge on the Dreamcast because all players were ghost cars and could not ram you. I've tried a bit online with Forza 6 and although it's been okay, I've not come round to online racing and have remained firmly offline.

I might be convinced later down the line though, it's just that racing games have never handled the online ramming aspect fairly aside from the terrifying iRacing where you get penalties!

I personally love hotlapping. I just love getting my teeth into one car over and over and really knuckling down.

I'm determined to be one of the quickest on this game, struggled a bit to be quick on FM4 as even though I loved it, something didn't quick click for the pace, but I already seem to have gelled with this one so fingers crossed! Love the vibration feedback through the triggers, makes braking so easy now compared to FM4.
Hopefully I get some good online lobbies too when I'm used to it. Do love a good online race, just seems hard on this with all the rammers.

They're crazy aren't they? I just take as I find now. If its a good room, good

If its full of punters I leave. After getting revenge of course

I had someone the other night hit me a number of times, I finally lost my rag and hit hit hit him into the wall and the cheeky ****er turned round and made out as if I was the one starting it! Nearly lost my rag. The bit that lost me was that he was actually not that slow. So really what was the point at all? Weirdos. Trolls on games basically, I swear you have to have issues to be like that.

Out of interest you didn't happen to be racing in a blue A class Clio V6 did you? :D Although I don't recognise your GT it's worth asking.

I don't remember hitting the guy before but he seemed to take an instant dislike to me, my first thought was maybe he didn't like being overtaken by a pink Evo.

Haha no don't worry it wasn't you  I was in the T10 458 Italia. And then an T10 R8. The dude was in a corvette and was just a douche. ha!

New cars next Tuesday. I can't wait. I love DLC day.

As sad as this may sound I think DLC day is probably one of my favourite days of each month, it's like a mini Christmas but without all the extra fuss . But seriously I just enjoy the availability of something new to try out when I play Forza and there's always something unexpected in the packs.

I like the Friday before DLC day too, when they announce the clues and we can start guessing. 👍
