On FM6 I've built a couple of track-day cars to mess around with, inspired by ones from real life. The two cars currently displayed below are the Mini Cooper and Renault Clio Williams. I'm starting to get the hang of tuning cars now, especially balancing their power and handling.

I also hope to share my designs with you guys soon, but it'll need some changes. Cheers.

360s are so cheap right now, and copies of Forza 4 are easily found used. I would say go for it. I still go back to FM4 every once in a while just to race those fun cars that didn't make it to 5 or 6. Like the Porsche 550 Spyder. Or the Austin-Healey 3000 and Sprite. Or the AMC Gremlin and Pacer. Or the Ford Pinto. Or the BMW 507 and 3.0 CSL. Or the Lincoln Continental. Or the MGA Twin Cam and MGB GT. Or the Plymouth Barracuda. Or the Saab 99 Turbo, 9-3 Aero and 9-3 Turbo. Or the Triumph TR3. Or the Weismann MF5. Or, or, or... Well, you get the picture.

Too late bro, they took down the DLC for FM4 because either licensing or because they be dicks.

So most of the car you mentioned are no longer available.

They shut down the DLC with Forza 4 last fall, without any notification. I know because I got the rest I needed, including the Porsche pack, the Friday before they removed it. It was just luck with me, I just happened to get internet on that Friday, and that's the first thing I did. There was a bunch of people upset about it, I can see how some would say "well it's been out for several years", but I think they still could of gave a heads up. They could of made a lot of money if they would of announced that it would of only been available until a certain date, and then would be removed. People that still needed/wanted it would of bought it.

It raises a question about how things like that would be handled if the FM series ever does get the go-ahead on XB1 backwards-compatibility.

For now though, I'm happy my 360 is still hooked up. Maybe I should finally buy that rally expansion for FH1...

That makes me glad that I bought all of the FM4 dlc packs when they first came out. Though yeah, I agree that Turn 10 should have given a warning for doing something like that.

I think a general announcement on the store itself on soon-to-expire items needs to happen. I'm still pissed I missed out on getting MVC2 on my PS3 after it came back, then disappeared again. Same with the MVC3 DLC.

Curse you, Capcom scum.

I think it was actually just a major brain fart on turn 10's behalf. Surely they know they missed out on extra cash flow, for something that wasn't costing them extra, if they just would of announced it a month ahead of time. There was a major stink made about it on the forums. They apologized, but they said there was really nothing they could do because the liscensing had lapsed. I guess something like that would of cost a lot of money for the return they would of got.
And reading on what @SlipZtrEm just posted, I never understood why Turn 10 doesn't use the in game messaging system more? It seems like that would be the place to announce a lot of things.

I've thought the same since my 360 rrod on me. For the missing tracks and the Porsche dlc

Like you though, I've rethought that seeing as FM4 dlc's have been pulled. Still, Porsches for
FM6 in April as far as we know

Forza 2 should be ridiculously cheap. It's worth playing just to see a few things that have long since gone from the franchise (more SCCA class race cars, extensive aftermarket parts, wheels, tuner demo cars, etc).

Whoever's thinking of getting an X360 just for FM absolutely should - they are timeless classics. All three FM games. SO much content.... so much to do. Ohhh... the engine sounds of FM2 and 4.

If you can get a version of Forza 4 with all the Dlc from the word go I would consider it.

Otherwise im happy to stick with Forza 6.

Forza 4 has the tracks and it has the cars. That all you need to know.

All the Turn10 fantasy tracks. You have to drive them. You have to give Turn10 credit, their tracks are comparable to the best that anyone has ever made, even Polyphony and I would compare some of them to real life tracks like Spa, they are that great.

Also Forza 4 has cars that I dearly miss.

True for FM2, but FM3 had at least one pack released after the Ultimate Edition.

The special gift voucher code for Doms 1970 Charger in F&F. I never knew about this or I would have pursued it now I don't have this car and theres no way of getting it. T10 should release it as dlc like Pauls supra. And hopefully a lot more movie cars in general such as F&F cars. Also more Ford, Vauxhall, Mad Max, Gone in 60 Seconds, More Ferrari LM models, car packs, please T10. I keep annoying everyone by mentioning the car I'd like in most part of the forums by now. hehe
