@danbojte, your English is very, very, good. đź‘Ť Ok. So, now I understand. There is a mandatory tire change from compounds. Do we all have to start on SH? Or can we start on SM tires? And can SM tires only be used for ONE rotation?
Thank you. :) đź‘Ť The race can be started with any of them and run as many laps as you like with each. Also you can make how many Pit Stops you'd like. The only thing which is mandatory is what you've said:

Ok...Thanks for the clarification, danbojte. đź‘Ť I hope I get some rest the night before so I make all three races this time. :banghead: Suzuka is such a fantastic track in real life, but I have not spent a lot of time running it on GT6 to get completely comfortable on it. I just hope I don't hit anyone, like I did in the first race last week. :nervous:

 I imagine that crazy bat already. Hey! Hey! Don't teach them to beat me! I'm joking. :sly:

I have a crazy idea, front SM and rear SH at race start, might need some care on the first 3 laps, then the car will start to have less oversteer as the tire getting worn, maybe even balance. Then pit to front SH and rear SM, then drive like madman slow in fast out, slight understeer, but as tire gets worn, even balance and still good lap time

You're welcome. Please, please rest. đź‘Ť You have sufficient time to practice and don't forget that it is Suzuka 2014. You are not allowed to hit anyone! :sly:

No, no mixing are allowed. :P And stop training them. :mischievous:  I want to win.

 Needs different strategy, but not like what Takuya Kurosawa-san did here, must watch from beginning to finish :) Awesome race, looks like BTCC race  The DC2 Integra replica also in final test phase :P Shame Tsuchiya-san had to endure such hardship

English caption, be sure to enable it and have fun :D

@danbojte , I was watching some videos of races at Mount Panorama, might be fun having a GT event here with a selection of different cars from @Ridox2JZGTE .

A customer told me to look at the bike races from Isle Man, I had never heard of the place, this is totally crazy man , I call it having a Death Wish .

Just thought of two more ideas for events, how about the cars from the shootout with the AZ-1 but held at Matterhorn Short Track, that would be real crazy, there would always be someone in front and someone in back đź‘Ť.

The other is a 2CV Replica Race :mischievous:, well I learned from the man a bit on how to start making these and I also learned from him how to make a little PR here and there .

And I have to find time to post more cars :( Got a stock Mitsu GTO and PitRoadM replica already made long ago, that just needs little polish :P So many cars, so little play time ...

The Mitsubishi GTO/3000GT/Dodge Stealth is one nice car, the later gen did 1:07s at Tsukuba, which is not bad for heavy AWD car. It's unique and laden with hi tech gizmos.

@TurnLeft hopefully yes

I find the NSX-R a little bit understeer on SM tires, and the instant oversteer, the amount of focus and concentration bigger than all previous races.

I would prefer to use comfort tires for a more forgiving driving.

I'll be there

The mitsubishi GTO was a very futuristic car for its time, alot ofelectronics but it can be a pit of money if those gizmos start to fail, that's why they are rare now days, having that car in-game for its pure driving pleasure is nice but i wouldn't have one IRL.

Permanent 4WD, the expense on tires would be big

The GTO is not permanent AWD, the VCU ( viscous center coupling unit ) can varies torque distribution from 95% rear to 95% front :) In ideal condition, it will split torque at 45:55 :) I have driven the real car, JDM GTO from 1994 back when I was in Oz, nice ride, with everything works was a dream to drive, it was full option VR4.. The owner told me the best example are JDM MR GTO from 1996 with hybrid LSD option installed. The 1996 has no adjustable exhaust and no ECS ( electronic suspension system ), which are going to be junked anyway for better coilover and full titanium exhaust :P The Active Aero still offered and should be good for high speed stability.

If you join the right community, owning a GTO can be great experience. There are lots of resources available for GTO owners and well maintained cars should still as good as current sports cars.

I had the time to make a 30 minute test this morning and came up with a few different strategies. I think the race should last 14-15 laps, so here are a few different scenarios.

1.Start with SM, take the lead and hold it for 6-7 laps, pit with SH and drive safely to victory :sly:.

2.Start with SH, pray I start 1st :D and block everyone off for 8 laps :mischievous:, pit with SM and drive wrecklessly to victory :odd:.

3.A little different, Start with SH, pray even harder that I start 1st :nervous: and hold the lead for 3 laps, pit with SM for 6 laps, pit again with SM and coast alone to ??? Doing it this way will be more like driving alone since I`ll be out of sync with everyone, the question is, will it be possible to make up the time lost with the extra pit stop by having tires with more grip? Will we find out? We`ll know what happens tomorrow .

Yeah i been doing some research of the tires as well, and i notice on SM when it reaches about 7 they lose efficiency and are actually slower than SH.

SH lasts longer which is ideal for long races like this.

See you all at Suzuka
Yeah but SH they kind of "slip sliding away" from the start, well they do for me anyways , SM are much easier to stay on the road and prevent some costly off road experiences :D.
