You really should go back through the early pages of this thread, because the VW Polo thing in the intro was already mentioned, as well as "Eiger Path" & "Plam Strip". The same for the Viper. I'm sorry, but you're just bringing up things that we already discovered.

The Focus Rally Car isn't really black, that clip is just gameplay footage of it edited. I mean, look at the background colors, it's clearly been desaturated or something. It's just the same old Blue Focus Rally Car.

As for the Red Evo, that's a Lancer Evolution 5 GSR and it is in GT2 and in the GT games after GT2.

Oh ok, I never saw a Lancer Evolution V red, that's why I posted this image here

I was browsing old pages when:
Where is the repack program for GT3 games, there isn't. So how did we replace/port files? Hex editing...

(You can't make your own models for GT2 because ZModeler doesn't have export filter - But yeah, custom models in PS/PS2 games are possible, I ported Stinger from GTA 3 to GTA Vice City)
Should we try this? It could have some results!

What we are talking about is porting a car or track to the game itself by hex editing like Markuza did in GT3. We can experiment with ones already in the game to see if it is possible. ;)

Although I would like to see that "course bg" car extracted. ;) I would love to see all of it's textures and what shape the track is. :dopey:

I can confirm that.

How odd...I wonder why it was removed from the other versions?

It's same time ago this post was posted but , I was driven a GT500 convertible in GT2 Pal-version

Well, I don't think there's much else to look for now. We basically found out everything.
I've even tried digging through the older areas on the internet and found nothing else new.

All I can say is I definitely wish that Sony didn't rush Polyphony back in 1999, Gran Turismo 2 would have been even a better game and maybe the series would even go a different route than it's going now. It's just fun to know that there would have been a drag racing mode, SSR11 would be featured in another GT title, Monaco would've showed up 1 game earlier. I bet there would also be other events thrown in if PD had another 3 months. Of course, that doesn't matter now and GT2 is still my favorite title of the series today.

Well I was using the drive through walls code once on that circle track and I got inside it and I noticed there was some strange letters or numbers in the middle of the track. I wondered if they were to represent the license test it was used for, but it wasn't. That's something we should check into. ;)

A Mini with a modified body?
Yes, it's a body mod done using gameshark codes, skynyrd could tell you all about it. ;)

I know is a Mini but... How to get it?
It requires certain gameshark codes according to Sonygamer455.

Honestly, it's not something I would bother with. I mean, I'm sorry for coming off negative here, but what is so interesting about a bunch of numbers in the middle of a track? Sure, it can mean something, but it's probably something that's not of value. Of course, you guys go ahead to take a look like what BisharpVercetti is doing, I'm just not interested unless there's some other hidden content like another secret race mode or something.

No thanks, I'm not interested at the moment.

Yes it is! Also, just a little something I thought. We can try and replicate the CLK GTR with body modification codes, like that mini cooper some posts above!

I imagine the number was to represent the version you were playing, in this case, the 80 meter version?

As for the CLK-GTR, I have though about that before, but it would so darn tedious! :scared:
