Fox is now reporting SIX (6) attack sites.

Fox is also reporting a Twitter saying, "Just wait until the jihadis come with their cars!"

Could that quote be in reference to the technicals (Toyota pickups with .50 cal machine guns and anti-aircraft guns mounted on the bed) that are used by terrorists, or car bombs?

Indeed. Massive suicide bombings are just a matter of time, unless the softies in Brussels are now awake.

Fox is now reporting 158.

A British commentator characterized the closing of the borders as "interesting", since it had always been thought they were dealing with domestic terrorists.

I don't know how much it has to do with the possibility of the terrorists not being domestic (which is, of course, very present). After all, I am sure they'd like to keep them inside France... Easier to catch them if they can't escape the country.

Yeah, like the did after the last few terror attacks.

Nope. France just went in full lockdown. Nobody enters or leaves the country. The armed forces are being mobilized. Last time the state of emergency was declared in France, it was... 1944, IIRC.

I just can't stand with ISIS.

Destroy ISIS inside out. No compromises, no arguing. Do it fully and strongly.

The intelligence services have no idea anymore how far this cancer has already spread over Europe. The current waves of refugees coming in are severely overstretching the capabilities of these services.

Im not talking about refugees. Im talking about ISIS.

If, say, Nazi Germany terrorizes Germany and German citizens go out seeking help, i wouldnt blame all Germans there to be Nazis. Yes refugees are overloaded but thats very loose to the current situation.

He's no blaming all refugees, just stating the obvious concern that large numbers of terrorists are potentially hiding among them.

Look at it this way. You are shooting up towns in the desert, killing people left and right, and one day your commander says, I want you to go to Europe. How do you do that without being noticed? Drop your weapons, dress like the rest of those who are actually fleeing the war and just follow the crowd.

Tada, inside Europe's borders. And with a bit of logical thinking you can imagine this is happening. And seeing that at least 6000 Native Europeans went desert dwelling for the exploding retards, a lot of them will survive and eventually go back.

How do you pick out a terrorist who isn't carrying a weapon amongst a million lookalikes?

I personally found the remarks of Fox Pentagon reporter, Catherine Herridge, to be very interesting.
She seemingly did everything she reasonably could to de-link this attack to ISIS, and to downplay the number of attackers. I imagine this reflects the view of the Pentagon that they Do Not want to get involved with a massive troops on the ground campaign in Syria.

I think it will be left to the Russian's to sort these ***** out in the middle east, Then of course our governments will do nothing about home grown terrorists or those now coming into the country intent on blowing us up.

Are you bring serious or just a troll?
I thought the same actually, the topic is highly exploitable and came out of nowhere.

Could be a troll or a child watching an old Robin Williams sketch.

I think intelligence services (you know, that Five Eyes thing), they could easily intercept communications from Syria, Iraq or Afghanistan, or at least try to identify the cell that is proliferating the violence there. Or at least provide potential countermeasures to for the already existing cells.

The Russians have tasted terrorism. Ironically, Charlie Hebdo chose to mock their losses. Can we now choose to make common cause with Russians? I doubt it.

One drawing showed a passenger's skull (right), with the caption: 'The dangers of Russian low cost flights'. The second showed the plane's debris falling (left) on an Islamist militant, with the legend: 'The Russian air force is intensifying its air strikes'

The French magazine featured two cartoons relating to the Metrojet plane, going from Sharm El Sheikh to St Petersburg, which crashed in Sinai on October 31, killing all 224 people on board

My thoughts and prayers definitely going out to those in Paris and in France in general. It was horrible when we were attacked, but it's even worse when it's happening elsewhere and on the ground. Longue vie à la France.

I'm not somebody who gets the chills often but when I heard that radio DJ describe what happened inside the concert made me almost sick to my stomach. He described how he saw a girl on the floor with both legs shot, he picked her up ran 200m with her on his back and put her in a cab and told the driver to hurry and take her to the hospital. He said he wasn't sure she would live from her injuries... Just made me numb...

There is no humour in someone dying a horrible death. I'm all for freedom of press and expression. But sometimes I truly wonder what people are thinking.

I think that the problem is very, very different to that. The French are generally pretty good at counter-terror operations; it's the "lone wolf" sryle of attack that everyone is struggling to counter-act. And ISIL will accept anyone to their cause - if they claim to be acting in line with ISIL's ideology, ISIL will endorse them, even if there has been no prior contact between them.

What worries me is that what happened in Paris tonight can happen in just about any major city in the world as these terrorist cells are most likely already infiltrated in most major cities and waiting for instructions.

This happens just before holiday shopping season is about to start. This attack may do more damage then we imagined

They will strike when they can. These are thought out attacks. The world is not getting any better.Stay strong Paris and France.

ISIL aren't going to be defeated with bullets and bombs. They will work up to a point, but analysts are already suggesting that the Metrojet bombing, a string of suicide attacks in Beirut, and now the wave of attacks across Paris is ISIL pushing back. They have taken losses in recent weeks and months - starting with Kobane, the Peshmerga offensive across northern Iraq, Russia's entry into the conflict, and in recent days, the loss of a Syrian air force base. They're going to push back; they need to push back to demonstrate that they are not beaten and will continue to fight. This may well be their response. And if our campaign against them is limited to air strikes and supporting counter-insurgencies, then this will happen again.

I fear that over the next few months, attacks like this one may become more severe and more frequent, following this attack.
This, however is only a fear and it hopefully doesn't become a reality, but it certainly is not quite out of the realm of possibility.

I can't even begin to comprehend what would drive someone to do something like this. Thought and prayers to all the victims and everyone affected by this tragedy.

Interesting thought. Meanwhile at my place, aside from small armies, there are illegal sex workers who sent to ISIS territory, only to discover they got AIDS and whole ISIS shaken and even sent Egyptian Doctor there. XD And you thought ISIS is faithful to Islam.

This is why, even with the very condolences of the victims there at Charlie Hebdo, im quite disagreed with the idea of free speech Hebdo has. Though on the positive side they will bash anything on the front of them, not just specific that is Islam and others.

"Je suis Charlie"? No, im not Charlie. I am a man who very strongly opposed to terrorism.
