It's almost like you're taking everything I say and Searching hard for a scapegoat. A reason, an excuse for you to not look bad. If you're trying to bring back that modding garbage, either for the drift community or not.. It's the same thing. I honestly think you should be given the same discipline the guys who PD had SEN/PSN dealt with. Seal breaking. The Drift modded community was a lot of big talking jerks who say they are the best and pick fights with people. Yet in their specs they are using Grip reduction or adding, Braking etc. I won't mention any names. All I'm saying is that GT5 how it was on RELEASE should remain how it was during Release. No one other than PD has the right to change ANYTHING in the game. That includes offline or online. PD does not care about ricy replicas.
Think about it. How would you feel if you and your team invested into making a game like GT5? Then a bunch of nerds came in and ruined it with excuses to crack codes and start altering things that a large bit of your consumers aren't too happy with? You have to spend the time and money on fixing this problem. It may take you weeks, or months or even a whole year just to fix. Don't say " I wouldn't bother" because that's a half-thought answer. Your consumers would never respect that. Think about it. Have a little respect for people who worked hard for their consumers. Tires or not that's still like "Breaking and Entering with the intent to kill" Even if it's just a test. You'll start handing it out or showing off with it. It's typical behavior. Right now I'm not really respecting your ideas. But I am respecting you as a person.

Do you mean jail breaking? If yes, worst case scenario they will bann me from online. I have accepted that though. You also know that if it wasn't against the TOS you would be doing it too.

To your comment about the drifting community. Well i have no clue to what part of the community you are talking about. I don't hang around those kind of people. That is about 100 plus people you can not say they are like that.

You do realize that Kaz (the maker of this game) has encouraged people to mod the games right? He has said that for years, even in interviews. Don't believe me? Look it up.
Also "ricy replicas"... Don't get too full of yourself with your loose terms.

So with that said I will answer your question. If i made a game and the same thing happened. Honestly, I would look at all of the hacks. I would go through them all. I would see what the majority of the community says. I would introduce what i could into my next game or DLC. In this game's case make regulations to keep everyone happy.
My honest answer to your question.
Just to let you know yes I am testing it out. And yes if i figure out how to do engine swaps in will hand it out. Not on here but through PSN or YouTube.

to better define the words:
Destroying the game: To destroy a game with alterations due to codebreaking, cheating, overly excessive glitching abuse, modding, hacking etc.
Legit Players: Players who ONLY play fairly regardless of their current situation. They will not be pressured, agitated, etc, to use any means mentioned above.
Simply put. I'm a fully supportive consumer of SCE,PS,PSN,SEN and relations. I just realized that I really should be. My family are major fans of PS.
